I just had Pat's out to bid a job. My dishwasher was drawing cold water, so I needed a valve to be switched to my hot water tap. I paid the service fee, but the bid was nearly $500. I felt like this was unreasonably high for installation of a stock part on a tap. Additionally, the plumber was not able to tell me how much of that cost was for the actual part (I'm thinking $10, tops). This nonsense gives plumbers a bad name.

UPDATE: So my dad came out and fixed my issue. The part he needed cost $3.27. That plus three inches of Teflon tape and the five minutes he spent completing the fix earned him breakfast. I stand by my review.

Absolutely the best service! They installed a gas line and water line, worked very fast, cleaned up their mess and came back when the inspector came to set the pressure guage, then came back that evening and helped set up my stove all for no extra charge! Alex was great to work with!

((Don't use this Company!)) I spent $2000 on a drain problem that Pat's plumbing fixed, I called them to let them know that the problem came back and It caused a ton of water damage to my floors and she said that it is 30 days past warranty. And the soonest they could be out would be in 3 days.

Do not call these guys. The repair man was late. He was here for 1 hr. Analyzed the problem and told me what I needed to do to fix the shower leak. Charged me $215 and didn't fix the problem. I was never told what their rates were until he gave me the bill. I don't know how they stay in business. $215 for 1 hr and never fixed the problem I called about!!. Outrageous.

Excellent workmanship by Alex! Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable having them in my home. We also later had them come back and do work in our office and gym. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pat's Plumbing.

I saw Pat's plumbing on groupon. Got the Groupon, called and was told they were not honoring the deal. The lady on the phone told me it should have been pulled. They would still honor the $55 I had spent toward the drain unclogging. It was a Wednesday and the soonest they could get out was Monday. I scheduled the appointment. They got my phone number wrong, so they said that they would try to get someone to my house on Tuesday, after blaming me for the wrong number.

I woke up to water all over the kitchen floor from an old hot water dispenser leaking under the kitchen sink. I thought that was the problem, but I wasn't sure, and although I try to do some things myself in my condo, after reading how to remove the dispenser, I was afraid I might do something wrong and cause a bigger problem, so I called Pat's Plumbing (I had their magnet on the fridge but had never used them before). I didn't call until 11:30 a.m. cause I had other stuff I had to take care of first. They were able to send someone over at 3 p.m. (Merle). Merle spent a little time looking at the situation, then went back to his truck to work up an estimate. When he came back and gave me a price, I was a little upset at first, but after we talked about it, I agreed to have him remove the dispenser. He explained that someone had put it in wrong before, and that was why I could not simply turn it off to stop the problem. Merle was very nice and understanding about my hesitation regarding price. He did an excellent job and when I realized he was leaving at about 4:45 and had been on the road to my place around 2:30, I decided for 2 1/4 hours of time spent on me that day for a company, that was a fair deal ($407 plus tax). Plus they came out right away (Melissa, the receptionist/dispatcher, was not sure they could at first, but they were able to work it out, even though I called so late). I could see Merle did an excellent job and I was very relieved to know the job was done right. I would not hesitate to call Pat's Plumbing again, but only if it is something I am sure I cannot do myself because, of course, plumbers are expensive.

They are terrible! Way overpriced and unprofessional. $425.00 to replace a toilet shut off valve. There are so many better plumbers than them.

Pat's plumbing is a great company to work with! I love local small companies and I didn't mind waiting a few days for them to come out as it was not an emergency. If you have a plumbing emergency and you call a plumber and they are slammed I would suggest calling around instead of bashing them for not always being available. They were honest and fair with their pricing!

Scheduled an appointment for plumber to look at several plumbing issues that had built up - outdoor leaking faucet, interior faucet with decreased pressure and to check DIY shower cartridge install. Alex and Jon were friendly, professional and efficient. Quickly assessed issues, provided a fair estimate, and completed the requested work. I will definitely use them next time I have a plumbing issue!
