Recommended Customer Reviews

Very knowledgable and professional. They may not provide the cheapest price but you get what you pay for and I'd trust them to do any other plumbing project I have. I was very pleased with their work and their pricing.

Patriot is extremely expensive. I believe any company can charge what they wish, but but buyer beware! You will pay handsomely for their services which are really no different than anyone else. However, if you are in a bind and cannot find anyone, they can do the job. Just go into it knowing you will pay more for it!

Called to make an appt. first day they cancelled, second day they did not show at the at the time scheduled. We took off work early to make sure we could make the appt. and when they did not show we had to call them to find out where they were. Very unprofessional, would not recommend them at all.

We were without heat AND hot water on 1/29/14 called Patriot on 1/30 they ""repaired"" our 17 year old boiler on 1/31/14, said the control panel and aqua therms were all bad and charged us $1786.00 (we are like most people NONE THE WISER).
Heat never got above 65 thought, that was due to extreme cold weather until we lost all heat and hot water again. At initial repair the technician advised my husband that if the repair didn't fix the issue a refund would be made. We called them back on 2/5/14, Upon their return we were advised our gas valve was now bad (supposedly, a separate incident not caused by them and completely coincidental). Tech left my house leaving the panels open and exposed, he also accidentally blew out my pilot light which he couldn't reignite.. (which is what led him to believe my gas valve was bad)
Being a frustrated mother of a 4 yr old with pneumonia I just said fix it. Im no HVAC specialist, who am I to disagree. The tech called me in the morning (temp outside -9, temp in my home 43 and dropping) Took my kids to a hotel, my husband reached out to the Owner ""Javi"" who wanted to just proclaim his intelligence by advising my husband how many degrees and certificates he holds and not get the job done or even be civil. My husband called Black Hills energy who came to our home, confirmed our gas lines AND THE VALVE were fine and suggested we find a new company.
I called another company who was to my home on Thursday at 5 and had my hot water and heat back on by 6pm... for a charge of $300. This man SHOWED me it was merely the flick of a switch after he showed me every step he took to come to the realization it was ONLY that... To think, I was going to pay 1326 for a gas valve replacement from Patriot which is in fine working condition, pushed me over the edge.
I made SEVERAL ATTEMPTS to reach ""Javi"" the owner, to which ""Joey"" wanted to play games with me and Javi wouldn't get on the phone. I told Joey at 3:45pm Thursday I wanted a call from Javi by 5pm or I would contact the BBB and Tom Martino. I was told By Joey he was not in the office and wouldn't guarantee a call back. I got a call from the office manager who tried to resolve the issue with me to the best of her ability, sadly at this point I was so fired up and angry about the money I've spent, about my sick child and Javi not being a RESPONSIBLE business owner, that she wasn't able to ease my anger. I ONLY WANTED to talk to the owner.
Next day the scheduler called said the technician would be there in 15 min, I advised I don't want anyone in my home until the owner called me back. 1:20pm I called Patriot spoke to Joey again advised him I am still waiting for the owner to call me back and someone needs to come reattach the control panel and safety panel (the tech that came and FIXED my system preferred not to touch someone elses work and since he didn't even touch that stuff wouldn't compromise himself by doing so), again Joey wanted to play games and act like Javi wasn't available, I spoke to Torie and again explained to her my anger and that all I want is to talk to the owner. Finally at 3:06pm ""Javi"" called me on speaker phone, I told him I had a hard time hearing him and asked him to take me off speaker. he advised he was conferencing with Torie. When he took me off speaker he was (in my opinion) being curt, at this point I am still livid I have spent 1786 and almost spent AN ADDITIONAL 1326, I told Javi I didn't need the curt attitude. which apparently infuriated him, I told him I didn't appreciate the ""shitty"" attitude and his very grown up business man response was to HANG UP ON ME.
So here I sit... Feeling like this man is a willing crook and a sore loser. I hope no one else is taken advantage of like we were.
let's also share that we were quoted by his technician Chris that it'd cost roughly 16,000 dollars to REPLACE the system and that it should only last about 15 years?? 3 other quotes ALLLLL under 10,000. I guess we should have read Yelp before choosing a company to repair our Boiler... Thought we should support our own backyard and go with a hometown guy... Guess he likes to piss in his own backyard.

I left a 5-star review with this company in September of 2012. Not sure why it doesn't show up (maybe due to Yelp screening), but I'm so glad it doesn't. I am SO embarrassed that I ever recommended this company to friends. We recently had Casey come to our home to give us a quote for some work that we wanted done: 1) a gas line run to our kitchen stove, 2) ""pumping"" the sewer line in the front yard (I'm sure I'm not using the right term here), 3) replacing the water heater. I must admit, I was hesitant to pay the $69 diagnostic fee that they insisted on, since there was no DIAGNOSING being done. Normally trades do not charge you for giving a replacement quote. Against my better judgement, I paid it anyway, since I'd had some wonderful HVAC service done twice in the past, and I was so sure I was going to use this company. Casey arrived extremely late and stayed for over an hour. He talked a lot, but didn't seem to be very sure about anything. He kept mentioning about how he'd have to speak with Javier. I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt however...big mistake. He mentioned that he'd have the quote by the next day (Friday), or Monday at the latest. 12 DAYS LATER and I've received NOTHING. I call and get the run around from everyone that works there. Heather even tried leaving a terse message about how I had the quote all along and basically insinuated that my husband and I were just trying to be difficult and get our money back. I called her out on that and as it turns out, she never even spoke to Casey before calling me. ZERO communication going on here. Casey admitted to my husband the night before on the phone that he had done NOTHING yet, he had some family issues that got in the way of work. Fine, I get that things happen, but the BS from this place never ended. He finally did send a really lame quote that was just a list of prices and the numbers were ridiculous! I mean so outrageous we were cracking up. Over $3000 to run a gas line on the EXTERIOR of the house for a range! We just had two more quotes done (by places that DO NOT charge to give you a price estimate....which nobody does, by the way), and they range from $300 to $450. Maybe he thought we wanted a solid gold gas line! We asked for our $69 back and they agreed to return it, but never did. It's not worth my time anymore, but NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

The plumber that arrived at my door was congenial, professionally dressed and on time. However, the quotes for 2 dripping kitchen Delta faucets began at $800. He recommended that since my Delta faucets were 13 years old they should just be completely replaced. These faucets are in good shape not scratched just dripping. Shocked I said no, just fix the leak. With each new bid the young man had to go back out to his truck and talk to his manager. At the third bid he asked me what I thought the price of repair should be, I said about $200. Again, a trip to the van, came back with a bid of fixing both for $360 - because he really wanted to work with me. I got a written quote. Looked up on the computer how long repair like this should take -1.5 hour and about $150. I called Handyman Connection. He replaced the cartridges on both faucets and even with a trip for parts the appointment took 2 hours. The cost $224. The parts were more expensive because he chose to buy heavy duty cartridges that would last even longer. Handyman Connection plumber also left the product number for cartridges so in the future I can all Delta ahead of time. Delta will send necessary parts for free for the life of the faucets. Also, Bryan with Handyman quoted if I had replaced both faucets completely the bid would not have been over $400. Handyman Connections give free estimates. Patriot Pros made it feel as if I was buying a used car from a shady salesman or trying not to buy a timeshare. Truly a shocking experience. There ad is beautiful in the yellow pages - their practices and bids are borderline fraudulent.

I would not given a star if the computer had not made me do it, lol, overpriced, un knowledgeable staff, Oh The owner has all kinds of lic, but his techs don't, Save yourself the time and loss of work, call another plumber,The Trucks are nice, the tech had a nice uniform on, but nothing going on in his head, got a quote of over $17000.00 for a boiler, had another company, give same equipment, very knowledgeable, and had it done in half the time , Patriot said it would take, for less than half the price,$8200.00, Now there is something wrong here, will also send a complaint to the BBB, and to the Douglas county chamber for this outrage, They need to know the kind of business's they stand behind, This was for my Mother, a long time Castle Rock resident, how dare someone take advantage of the elderly
Thank you Jim

These guys have great service but they are really expensive. I had a leak and they replaced about 7 inches of copper pipe with a bend. The total?
700.00.

My wife and I were pleased with Patriot's service. They were very kind on the phone and the men who came to our house were very kind as well. There was a little hiccup in that they didn't arrive to the house when we were told they were going to... they ended up being a few hours late. But in the end, they kindly helped point out our problem and didn't end up charging us a dime for their visit since it ended up being a false alarm. Over all... good experience.

One thousand bucks to replace a 50 dollar part with one hour labor.
But they will rip you off with ultimate politeness and courtesy. Do not use them.
