The plumber who came into my home was lazy in his approach to solve what was going on. He tried to tell me that the ""leaking"" from my toilet is really just someone peeing behind the toilet. I'm not sure what type of acrobatic crap he thinks we do in this house, might I add we have no kids but I assured him that our guest toilet is rarely used. He continued to argue with me and tell me it's pee by saying ""well how do you explain it being yellow"" I told him when I clean that toilet and wipe around the base it's always yellow and I didn't know. He didn't believe me until I showed him the picture of it leaking clear water. If this picture was someone's pee they would have had to be extremely hydrated but I knew for a fact it wasn't pee because I saw it leak. Only after seeing the picture did he further investigate. After hearing ""ew ew ew ew"" as he lifted the toilet he quickly came to the conclusion that the toilet has been broken for awhile due to excessive force and the home warranty won't cover it of course. (though we just moved in 5 months ago and never had an issue with the toilet leaking on the home inspection) Also when he went to check my swelling baseboards and walls near my shower he just stood there from a distance and looked. He didn't do a single thing. He responded with ""that's just a caulking issue and your home warranty doesn't cover that so that's a you issue not a me issue"" I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. He had a lazy attitude from the start. He wanted to just glance at my issues instead of fixing them. I don't believe he gave me a correct diagnosis from my problems but just didn't want to do anything from the start. I called to complain to my home warranty after nothing was resolved and they assured me that they only send out the most qualified but I have a hard time wrapping my head around how the most qualified try to tell me someone is just peeing behind my toilet before investigating beyond that silly idea. It was ridiculous and very unprofessional. I will be receiving a second opinion from another company.

Do not hire Patriot Plumbing! The bigger question is why does American Home Shield constantly use them and force them on the AHS customers when time after time they do negligible work? And now we have to pay with actual cash? Who hands a technician $1000 in cash? I have had clogged lines and water heater issues....Two years ago (prepandemic) I had to wait two weeks with a clogged sewer line and ended up paying out of pocket to another plumber after having to pay the AHS deductible for Patriot Plumbing and now its been over a week with a busted hot water heater...and we have to pay Patriot out of pocket! American Home Shield, what in the world are YOU doing? Better yet, AHS customers, its time that we rise up!

The warranty company, American Home Shield sent Patriot out to look at a clogged sewer line. The city was not responsible for this. After some investigation, it was possible that the warranty company may not cover the work. We were quoted $618 to clear the line, and we authorized the work because the situation was getting desperate. The opening of the sewer was 5 inches below ground, and they said they could not do the work because they did not have a shovel. What plumber does not have a shovel ? They knew our job was urgent and that we needed immediate work.
Needless to say, we told them to pack it up, and leave. We called A1 Plumbing in Virginia Beach. They came out that evening, got the job done, and only charged us $250.
RUN from Patriot....totally worthless, lazy, and will obviously overcharge for the job.
If you need emergency work, or any work, call A1 plumbing instead. They had us covered.

They were assigned to come fix a leaking faucet in the tub...said they had to order the part...took 2 weeks to get the part....setup a day to come install it...same tub had a slow drain, and toilet was continuously running...filed a claim and since they were coming figured they could address these issues too...big mistake...tech said the toilet needed replacing that if they didn't cover it that would cost $475...called AHS while he was still in the driveway...said they would cover replacement...tech wrote toilet needed replacing that flush valve flang was bad...and was bad due to excessive force, which AHS won't cover excessive force....having replaced our toilets before and knowing I can get a toilet $100-$200...took a picture of the problem and sent to a master plumber I know and he told me that it can be repair and just needed a $15 repair kit...went to Lowes and bought the part and repaired it myself....garbage company...I will be calling AHS and advising how crooked they are

Unfortunately our warranty company sent them out to unclog my bathroom sink. First off, the guy said he would be there about 10:00 AM. 11:45 and no plumber. Finally he arrived and said his van broke down. Never called to let us know that. After he tried to unclog the sink, key word tried, he tells hubby that he cannot do this job because the cabinet needs to be pulled out and the wall needs to be cut so that a vent snake could be used, but they don't do that. Are you a real plumber???? Seriously? He then left. About 20 minutes later, the ceiling downstairs started leaking and the sink didn't drain. The water was black and it stunk. Hubby had to pay out of pocket to get another plumber out (Thank you Awesome Plumbing). He fixed it!! He did not need to remove my cabinet nor break open the wall. So I would like to ask this again to the guy from Patriot Plumbing who made the problem worse..ARE YOU A REAL PLUMBER?? Do not use this company. They are useless and are ripping off homeowners who use their home warranty. They need to be removed. I would give them no stars.

A RIP OFF! Assigned by American Home Shield to fix a broken pipe. The worker's showed up, never got out the truck as I told them about the pipe. Their response, ""We don't do that type of work!"" Left and I had to contact another plumber on my own. American Home Shield said Patriot Plumbing provided a diagnosis to them (my diagnosis) and I was charged $100! Disappointing. Will report to BBB and anyone else who will listen!

Zero customer service. Had them come out to repair a leaky faucet. They told me they needed to get a part and they would call me ""sometime"" to fix it. I asked if it would be sometime soon... and they said they didn't know. It has been over a week. They have not called or responded in anyway.
I had to contact another company to get the work done. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON PATRIOT PLUMBING.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! I have no idea how they're still in business. The Warranty company will let them pick up claims but they go into the house, look at the problem, and not work on it. They just take the money. The worst plumbing company! Not even a one star.

DON'T USE THEM! !! We have a home warranty company and used them twice. They took our $100.00 ($200.00) co pay twice and never did the work, never called back, never fixed the issues. They only showed up to get our go pay!!
To me they stole our money!

HSA or AHS my home warranty company sent them out to fix my plumbing issue with the bathroom sink. They never reported back to me. 12 days later I'm still waiting for the report I asked about last week after they said I'm being denied service due to warranty company not covering the work. They wrote the ticket stating it's a foreign object. ALL GLOGS ARE FOREIGN OBJECTS. They used a hand held snake then gave up. Said the pipes need to be cut and replaced. Was told on the phone but never received the report. I paid 100 to have them come make a mess. IM FURIOUS .... DO NOT USE
