Called to get my thermostat adjusted . Patriot came out & fixed it right away ! Always very professional with quality work !
Just needed to replace the water heater. I contacted AHS about an issue with the water heater and they dispatched Patriot Plumbing to diagnose the problem. When I learned that Patriot Plumbing was the company that would be diagnosing the problem, I wanted to know about the company's history and look at reviews. To my surprise, they have a 1.5 star raiting. I immediately called AHS back to inform them of what I just learned and to request for a different company to be used. I was told that they were the only company on their list that could come out the fastest. I agreed for them to come out because I needed to get the water heater replaced, I didn't want my tenants to go too long without hot water. Patriot Plumbing came out and gave their diagnosis and a repair plan. We because they added extra parts that are not a part of my system, my claim was denied. Instead of reporting to AHS that the water heater needed to be replaced because it failed due to normal wear and tare. They reported that I needed to replace the water heater, an expansion tank along with other items and parts. I immediately let AHS know that I did not want Patriot Plumbing to complete the repair. I am not to only one that this has happened to and I won't be the last. I shared my experience because I want others to be aware and to look into the companies that are contracted by these home warranty companies. I saved myself hundreds if not thousands of dollars by declining to have Patriot Plumbing complete the work. I am basing this on the reviews of others that had the same issue that I had. I also learned that Patriot Plumbing is not accredited by the BBB. Do your homework on these companies so that you don't end up paying thousands of dollars for work that's not necessary.
The technician Brandon was very polite and fixed our leaky faucet and pipes at no added cost (used American Home Shield). Our experience was a positive one.
The technician they sent to our house was very polite and fixed our leaky faucet at no added cost (used American Home Shield). Our experience was a positive one.
Firstly the timeliness was impeccable! Secondly the customer service that their technician named Daniel has is top tier. With employees like him I'm sure the business runs itself. I am new in home ownership so I had a plethora of questions to which he had no problem answering with kindness and great detail.
I will be utilizing Patriot Plumbing exclusively moving forward & requesting Daniel when available.
When we had a problem with a broken shower valve and our home warranty company assigned this company to repair it. We had heard this company had bad reviews and addressed our concerns to AHS. They told us another company might not get to us right away. We couldn't run water because of the broken valve, so we were in a bind. The technician was dispatched and said that because one of two screws was ""missing"", our warranty company declined coverage. We ended up paying $425 for what was supposed to be a $100 service fee. I don't want to think these people are working hand in hand, but I do wonder.
Patriots plumbing sucks. They are very overpriced. I paid $7125 to have a water heater replaced and moved to the garage. I believe they are a rip off and they couldn't give me a breakdown of what they charge me for such as how much was the water heater, how much was the labor, how much was it to remove the water heater from the bathroom to the garage, they didn't have an answer my advice to anyone do that call Patriots plumbing. American home warranty is the worst as well.
If I could give them a negative number I would. My home warranty AHS sent them to look at my busted water heater and Patriot said I would have to pay almost $460 to install a expansion tank. I've had 2 standard water tanks installed over the years and no expansion tank was needed. Patriot claims it's city code. Home Depot said none was needed for the installation. Are Patriot Plumbing Llc and AHS in bed together?
I wish i could give them negative -100. Years ago with Ahs, i needed my drains cleaned and he said he had to snake thru toilet after I repeatedly told him where my main line was. I called them back, cuss their dumb asses out and they refunded me the cost to snake. Its a shame, i am a 30 something female and i knoe more than a plumber. Recently my stoppers in my faucets need to be replaced, ahs dispatched them again. He literally took pics and said he didn't have the stoppers on the truck and sent me and invoice for $375 for stoppers! I could have bought 3 whole faucets for less! Its a complete rip off and ahs use unreputable businesses. There are sonmany times i ask forna second opinion visit. Steetvclear from Patriot Plumbing...they are straight garbage
I had patriot plumbing out to my home through my home warranty company to address a broken shower handle. Faucets are covered under my policy.
Upon arrival, the technician glanced at our broken plastic shower handle and decided that the reason it was broke was due to ""excessive force"" and informed us that it would not be covered. They subsequently sent me an estimate for over $450 for repairs. I tried calling them to better understand the proposal and diagnosis but after leaving a message and requesting a call back twice with the home warranty company, I never heard from anyone. I called today and was told by some unfriendly employe that the broken handle ""did not just happen"". Well, duh. We turned the handle and it broke. How it was determined to be because of some kind of unusual force exerted by 65 year old mom is absurd.
I requested a second opinion and fortunately, was sent an excellent plumber from an upstanding company who actually LOOKED at the broken valve and determined that an internal piece of the valve was jammed. He explained there are ways to evaluate if excessive force is used, such as turned pipes but none of the ways to identify excessive force could have been verified by glancing at a broken handle. I explained what had happened with the people at Patriot and without missing a beat he asked if my bad experience was with Patriot Plumbing! What does that tell you?
Shame on my home warranty company for even sending out a well known lousy company. I will be letting them know how terrible my experience was and encourage everyone to steer very clear of these ""plumbers"".
