WARNING! Patriot Plumbing installed a new hot water heater a little over a year ago. They came the next day and were very eager when it came to taking money. UNFORTUNATELY, Patriot did not close the permit so when I recently went to sell my house, the inspector came and it failed inspection. I called Patriot and spoke with a woman who claimed to be the owner. She said she would not do anything. She was very nasty. We had to hire another company and pay an additional $800 to replace the black pipe they left causing this inspection to fail. Patriot is the WORSE company in the world. Their shoddy workmanship caused so much grief. Patriot Plumbing does not stand behind their work.

Patriot installed a water treatment system in our house. It was not anchored properly (undersized and shallow anchors into stone), and later fell off the basement wall, damaging numerous expensive components. There weren't even simple safety straps installed to the ceiling joists. The cost of repairs was over $600. Needless to say, I did not return to Patriot Plumbing for the repairs. I have no trust or confidence in the company. Stay away!

I called Patriot plumbing over for what I thought was an easy job - connect my washer and dryer to what I thought were existing connections. So, I understand why the boss didn't show up. As it turned out, however, there was no available gas connection and I have a gas dryer. So, while he was here, I had the plumber they sent over (who happened to be very personable) replace a leaky supply line to one of our toilets and also hook up a bidet attachment that I picked up on Amazon (we can't use flushable wipes with our septic system). I also had the guy take a look at another toilet that wasn't flushing properly. All told, the actual work he did took, by all accounts, less than an hour. Material was $6. I was billed me...$300 for labor! Apparently the gentleman that was sent over spent a lot of time mulling over the logistics of installing a new gas line, and relayed the information to his boss while sitting in his truck for what seemed to be forever. Only to bring back a verbal quote that I requested in writing, but never received. In the end, with a $59. service fee and tax, I paid a whopping $390 for essentially a tube replacement and plastic bidet attachment. I felt ripped off. Is conferring labor? Maybe I'm misjudging these guys? I'm ok giving these guys one star because the young guy they sent over was friendly and well-meaning (Though, he wasn't worth $150/hr). I believe the circumstances warranted some kind of consideration and adjustment in the price of the labor, but that was not forthcoming. For $150./hr, I expect a master plumber not a junior plumber - someone who doesn't need to take gobs of expensive time to confer. Did I mention I was deeply disappointed? Thanks for listening to my yelp. Too bad it wasn't a positive one for all concerned.

Update 10/21/16:
Rather than spend the $1,000+ dollars on a gas line install, we decided to buy an additional dryer - the electric version of our high end LG Dryer. Weeks later, someone pointed out that we DID indeed have a gas line for our original gas dryer! in the basement!!! Not 15 feet from where Patriot Plumbing wanted to install their proposed gas line! Talk about incompetent! In the end, we spent more than $1100 for nothing! $400 for the expertise of Patriot Plumbing. $700 for a machine we didn't need!

About a week ago I called Patriot Plumbing as a referral through a local site. Spoke to a man on the phone who said he usually doesn't answer the phone but that his boss was out of town on vacation but he would book the appointment. We booked for 8/4/15 between 12-3 and he said it would be a $40.00 fee for the technician to come out and take a look at my water filtration system to see if they could service it. Two techs showed up. The techs told me I didn't need to have tank serviced, that I only needed salt in one of the filters, then said they didn't have anything like that on the truck because they weren't to perform work just to take a look to see if they could service the system, no work was performed. They were in my house for 25 minutes. One of the techs said he was going to call his boss and would be back with the bill. He went out to his van and was gone for 20 mins. He came back with a bill broken down for a service call fee of $59.00 and the rest for 2 techs (which I never asked for, one would have been sufficient) the bill came to $261.08 again NO SERVICE WAS PERFORMED. I told the tech I was not paying that I was only paying for the $40.00 service fee which is what I was told on the phone. The tech said he tried to get the other part waived but his boss Mark said no. Spoke to Mark and explained he said to talk to his wife but was rude about it. Mark's wife the secretary called me and I told her what happened. She called me a liar and said she is the only one that answers the phone. I told her I don't know how she runs her business but I was told it was $40 for a service call. She told me I will absolutely pay the bill or she will call the cops. I told her to do that, in which she did. I told the cop what happened and the tech advised the officer that Lisa the secretary was in route to my house. The police advised the tech to call her to go home. Lisa is crazy they obviously have to make up prices, and bully people b/c they don't have enough work. What was she going to do coming to my house? The officer advised me to go into my house and lock the doors and not to answer if she came. Do not use this company because if you are unhappy about anything Lisa the crazy wife will call the cops on you!

First time homeowner, found a leak on our first night in the house, over a holiday weekend. What to do? We called Patriot Plumbing, based on the recommendation of several friends.

Although they were technically closed, they talked us through what we needed to do immediately to get the situation under control until they arrived.

Mark and his crew showed up promptly for their appointment, fixed the problem completely on their visit, and graciously walked me through all of the plumbing and water (filtration system, neutralizer, well pump, etc, etc) components of the home, explaining what they were, how they worked, what we could service ourselves...all of this was new to us, having only ever had public water and sewer systems before.

At the end of the appointment, the problem was solved and the price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend them for your next plumbing need!
