I had an appt with a Patriot Plumbing Plumber last week. My neighbors have had leaks and I decided to have some work done so I wouldn't have the same problem. I scheduled an appt and plumber showed up at designated time. When I explained what I wanted done he stated that I didn't need that work done however I should do other work replacing shut off valves on the toilets. He gave me a quote and I said ok let's do this. He said he would rather come back and do the work another time since he couldn't do everything on this scheduled visit. I asked to have one of the toilets fixed today and he said he would do them all on his next visit. I agreed. He then charged me $175 which I thought would be taken off the amount on the next visit. What I found out, once I was emailed the bill, is that he charged me for a service call. He did not want to do any of the work that day even though I had scheduled the time and then he billed me for a service charge. I received two different emails for different charges. The first email was for a toilet repair, he adjusted the water level in the tank. No tools used and took approx 1 minute. When I called and asked what was going on I was told that the charge was for an inspection. I didn't schedule an inspection! The final email came and said the charge was for a service call. In other words I just got charged for Nothing! The plumber would not do the work and he still charged me just for showing up. He had the time but chose not to do it because it would be easier for him to come back and do all toilets at once. He should never have charged me since this was his decision to wait, not mine.
This company was recommended to me by a neighbor so I trusted that they would not try to take advantage of me. I should never have agreed to wait on the repair and I should not have paid them. I did not think they would be so underhanded in their business practice. I have called and sent text messages and they have no intention of making this right.
I have told my other neighbors not to use them and I hope his review will help others from using this company and having charges for things they did not ask for.

Had some water damage that I noticed on a Saturday. Patriot came out the sat and got the leak under control. They also worked with my insurance to restore the water damaged area. Great business with a lot of integrity.

After Bestbuy refused to install a new washer because the valves were too old, I tried replacing them myself. I bought new valves and was able to remove both valves but not the last piece. Hence the call to Patriot Plumbing. Fred was able to remove the last piece using a plumbing tool and then installed the valves I bought from Home Depot. Only charged me for the labor. That is honesty.

Fred was amazing he came out to look at my dishwasher and my sink. He informed me that it was a mechanical problem with the dishwasher and did not charge me for the service call.

I did not expect to call on Patriot (Angel) twice in a year but I did. Angel responded to my call regarding a leak and was professional and communicative when the schedule changed for our appointment. He provided suggestions and items for remediation and was as helpful as always. I would highly recommend Angel for service calls related to remediation and I would recommend the restoration side of the business for the repair work and finishing.

Very unfortunately, our second encounter was not as good. They told us the plumber would come 2-5 pm. They did call to say he was running late (coming from Orange County), that he'd probably come around 5:15. He did finally arrive around 6:10 (dinner time for us).

The plumber (won't mention his name, I don't want to get anyone in trouble) asked about our problem (tub draining very slowly). He gave me a hard time about not calling earlier when the problem first surfaced (two weeks ago). I felt like a little boy again being shamed and belittled.

He snaked out the drain in 15-20 minutes. It now drained, but it wasn't that great. He harped on something else, maybe it was the poor condition of my old pipes. I was appropriately apologetic and gave him a check for $150. Earlier, I had signed an estimate for that amount and the plumber said there would be no guarantee. Afterwards, I thought the price was excessive for the work done.

Next time I have a plumbing problem, I will find someone else.

Mark is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! He has been helping us with several projects and every time has done a spectacular job!! His work is meticulous -- even the hard stuff was a breeze with Mark -- he stuck it out and got everything done in a timely, professional and clean manner. Plus Mark has a great personality so it makes dealing with plumbing issues that much better.

When no other plumber would come out to help us stop huge fresh water leak, Fred came out on a Saturday night and helped us avoid thousands of dollars in damages to several wood condo floors. Seven other plumbing companies said "" ...they MIGHT be able to come out on the following Monday..""!!!??
Yea, that's the solution most other plumbers proposed, let the water continue to run for another 48 hours, and only then grace us with their presence.
If I could give Patriot more stars than 5, I would.
