I run 5 stores. I called to get an estimate for adding a mop sink to our newest location. As I was explaining who I was, the guy on the phone said ""We don't advertise"" and hung up on me. I called back and he sent me directly to voicemail. His website says friendly. I say, what a jerk.

NEVER EVER have I had a business answer the phone by saying stop calling here!!! I had a bad connection on my cell. I didn't even hear him say hello! He said to stop calling here I'm calling from god knows where ( I have a out of state cell number)
All I wanted was someone to look at the water heater! I would not even call this place! Someone needs to retire!!!

Bob is great to work with. He was able to come over a couple hours after we called him and he fixed our leaky valves in short order. His prices are reasonable and I would recommend him to anyone.

Bob was great-- arrived on time, fixed our rusted out hot water hookup with no trouble, and was friendly to boot. It was really nice to work with someone who has plenty of experience and got the job done quickly. I'm so glad to have found a reliable plumber in the Northland!

While Bob was very friendly and came out the next day to install shut off valves, I feel I was taken advantage of. Very likely this is the reason I (a week later) have not received the quote for the additional work needing done.

I called Patriot Plumbing based on their stellar Yelp reviews for a much needed hot water heater replacement. We called on a Friday as we were headed out of town and set up a Monday appointment based on his reasonable estimate. I gave the gentleman our address and phone number. We live near Brookside and I repeated our address twice and mentioned the streets nearby.

On Monday, he called at 7:15 AM to see what size of water heater we needed. He then asked our address again. We repeated it. He asked if it was south of the river, and when we said yes, he said he would not be coming by after all. Patriot Plumbing does not serve Kansas City, MO south of the river.

He refused to drive an extra 20 - 30 minutes to do business with us, even though we are located in the same municipality as the company. If the distance were greater than 12 miles, I would maybe understand. The point is, he had our address days in advance and didn't say anything about it then, when we could have easily made an appointment with someone else. He couldn't even give us a reason why, he just said no based on our location. Patriot Plumbing left us without hot water and scrambling to find a replacement on our day off.

If you're looking for a great plumber to install a hot water heater south of the river, call Lutz Plumbing. I bet they even serve the Northland.

I needed a plumber to fix two outdoor faucets and two toilets, so I called Patriot Plumbing. Bob is very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed me a couple of things that I didn't even know about my plumbing. He was able to fix the plumbing problems I had easily. I will definitely call Patriot Plumbing again for future plumbing repairs.

Bob, with Patriot Plumbing was GREAT! On a recent evening after noticing a foul odor in the basement, I was horrified to find that the cap on my main cleanout (the big drain pipe that all the toilets & such drain into) had come off! Resulting in a disgusting mess in a finished portion of my basement, and of course it was almost 7:00 pm! And mind you that we would not be able to use any water or flush a toilet until it was fixed , which does not go over well with 2 teenage boys! After calling other plumbing companies and getting the standard answering machine message ""call back during regular business hours"" ,when apparently all plumbing emergencies are supposed to occur.....I called Patriot Plumbing, and Bob answered :D , he understood my desperation and said he would be right out! He was very personable, professional & knowledgable and his rates were fair & competitive. Got the cap replaced quickly & we were back in business. Bob even took the time to answer some questions I had about a do-it-yourselfer plumbing job I had going in a bathroom. I thank him and my sons thank him! Highly recommend Bob to anyone!

We've referred Bob (Patriot Plumbing) to two other couples so far, both of whom needed new hot water heaters, and they've been very happy with him also. A side-note: he has chickens at his Platte City home and brings us fantastic fresh eggs whenever we need them! They aren't free but they are a treasure, and he delivers! Life is good.
