Kirk and patriot plumbing have been my go to plumbers since 2005 (it's now 2022, so that's 17 years). They do great work, show up when they say they will, are polite and courteous. I have recommended them to friends, who have also found their work to be excellent.

Kirk and I met at LG. He was one of my loyal vendors. Recently my water heater needed to be replaced. Patriot was called one day and installed the next. He actually installed an energy saving unit so im excited to see how this last. I have no complaints from 14 years with LG an zero complaintsas a homeowner. He has tons of experience. I recommend his services to anyone.

Our water heater went down last Sunday. We called Patriot and received a call back within 15 minutes. We explained the problem (burner wouldn't light) and they said they could come out same day for a premium. We said we could wait until Monday. They were there Monday morning and were able to pinpoint the problem quickly. A part would have to be ordered, but would be there the next day. In the meantime, the technician was able to start our water heater temporarily so we could take showers. The part showed up the next day and Patriot repaired it late Tuesday afternoon. Quick work, stellar service. During the whole process, they kept in touch with us and let us know the timeline. I have used Patriot in the past and my experience has always been excellent. They are based in El Cajon / East County, where we are, and we like to support our local businesses. We have used Patriot Plumbing for over 10 years and they have consistently performed at the highest level. They are highly recommended

Just moved into our new office space and both toilets backed up. I called and they came out right away. Very knowledgable and kept us in the loop on what the problem was...fixed the same day. We mentioned that we were thinking about changing out the 30 yr old toilets and the owner gave us good suggestions on what brand to buy. We asked if he could do the work...he said of course, just didn't want to push that on ya if you wanted to do it yourself. So refreshing to have an honest family owned business to count on! FYI...we're having him out next week to install the 2 new toilets :-)

just wanted bathroom sink drain snaked, kirk came with his son and they were arguing. Instead of going down our elevator to his truck to get his tools, he borrowed our bucket and wrench (lazy), snaked the drain and left the muck in the sink. The plug broke, not his fault, probably old and all he had to do was ask me to pay extra to replace it and I would have, but I felt he left the job incomplete, Super bad communication. I texted him that the job was incomplete, after I paid him cash for the whole thing of which he never did give me a receipt, he then proceeded to tell me, ""oh you were going to blame me and think I broke the plug"" which wasn't an issue, so then after a couple of texts, I told him ""why don't we lose each others"" numbers, then he texts me back ""no"" and sent me more texts, this time mean ones. So I told him that if he didn't stop I would contact Better Business Bureau, then he still continued to text, so I said once again ""lose my number."" I showed all the texts to my significant other and he said the guy was totally unprofessional and childish. Kirk complained about our dirty drain, well of course, that is why we got a plumber to snake it - hello. He also said something about hoarding and we do have lots of possessions, which we have lots of DVDs neatly stored in plastic tubs, but the personal pot shots were really sad. Yes, won't use them again & will not recommend. p.s. because I have a soft heart, I think maybe he takes on too many jobs and that he needs either more help or take less work, so I hope he can do that so that he will be less stressed and not take his frustration out on paying customers anymore Blessings! ~

We are in the process of replacing our floor. The toilets needed to be removed and put back after installing the new floor. The plumber who was originally supposed to come for the job, never showed up so my family was left without any working toilet on this 4th of July weekend. I called a few 24/7 plumbing companies to find someone else to put my toilets back. However, every plumber I called said they could not come because it's the 4th holiday.

I then found this company (Patriot Plumbing) and spoke with the owner, Kirk, directly. Kirk agreed to come out on 4th of July this morning to help my family. I am greatful to this company and Kirk in particular.

lastly, he answered all my questions patiently, was professional and pleasant.

The worst. Patriot did some minor work but when we hired a different plumber for the majority of the project, Kirk was furious--he showed up at my 90 year old mother's house, confronted her, and demanded she cut him a check on the spot. By the time I got there, she was crying and Kirk was gone. Kirk then sent me a series of foul-mouthed texts. Do you self a favor, pick another plumber. Nothing Patriotic about these guys.

First off the guy that came to my house did not wear a mask and said he was immune to the Virus. But was I.!? Anyway he was there so I put on my mask and let him in. Looked and said what he thought my problem was that my water had probably been turned off. He was correct in that assumption Contractor had ruptured a city pipe and it affected the entire neighborhood. All in all it took 5 or 6 mins to see there was no issue that he could help with. I paid 70.00 for the house call and he was gone.

Stay away from this business. I had a toilet that was leaking on my second floor causing water damage and mold in the drywall below. I had them install a new wax ring, angle stop valve and water supply line, and a flush valve inside the toilet and was charged $460.00. Two guys show up and this 1 man job took them 1 1/2 hours. Kirk charged me $250.00 labor to install the toilet, wax ring and flush valve, and he charged me $150.00 for the valve and water supply line installation. After he left the , the shock set in how much I was overcharged. I sent an e-mail requesting if I was charged labor for 1 or 2 plumbers, and how much was the cost of the angle stop valve and water supply line, because he listed the price for the flush valve and wax ring but not for the angle stop valve and water supply line. After a few days they did not reply and I called the business to get answers for my questions, and if I did not get answers I would go to the B.B.B. for overcharging. Kirk called me and I wanted answers about the price I was charged, because I contacted my regular plumber about these prices and he said that was high, and the valve and water supply line cost about $9.00 each and he told me they were supposed to caulk the toilets on the 2nd floor by state law which Kirk did not do. After I told him about this he said his parts were better quality and the caulking was not required because it is only to look nice and to stop leaks. I could not believe he was telling me this. My toilet was caulked before he removed it and I would have expected him to re-caulk it, especially for the price he charged. He told me his prices were a little higher because of the cost of gas and food. I got pissed off with this conversation and hung on him because he was not giving straight answers. He called me back and said he was willing to make it right and that he had to wait for me because I was running late and I had to have my 16yr old son let him in to do the work, which my son did not know about the toilet repairs. In his voice mail, he mentioned my son did not know what the quote: "" Know what the Hell was going on"", and I told him I did not appreciate him bring my son into this, and he said to stop making things up. I told him he seems to be making things up for charging me $150.00 to install a simple valve and line which he never did tell me how much they cost. What he was doing is charging separate labor for different jobs within an 1 1/2 hour time frame, and he also said that the overall labor for the everything including the angle valve and water supply line was $250.00. So why was I charged and additional $150.00? He said that he would come over that night if I was to upgrade and by new toilets and he would install the original toilet he worked on for free and $125.00 for my second bathroom toilet on the 2nd floor. I told him I would think about and called him back the next morning and told him that I would have to wright this as off as a bad experience and told him I told him that I did not trust him to do any work in my home and I need to watch out in the future for Shady business like his. I just had a new Handyman Install a new wax ring in my second bathroom caulk both toilets and completed drywall repairs in my pantry and garage from the previous water / mold damage within 1 1/2 hours, and was only charged only $200.00. If you look at Kirks his previous reviews this is not the first time he has tried to take advantage of others by charging high prices. I could care less about getting my money back all I wanted for him , was to be honest with me and have some type of integrity, which he seems to have very little of.
