Patrick Plumbing & Heating
Company Overview
Our commitment to expert craftsmanship and thorough attention to detail drives us to finish each project successfully on the initial try.
In 1993, I launched the business with a vision and dedication, and it has grown significantly since.
I was born in California in 1957 and moved to Colorado in 1971. I pursued my education through high school, college, and Bible school right here in Colorado. I tied the knot with my wife Mary Beth in 1985 and started my apprenticeship in plumbing that year. We are blessed with three children: Chloe, Haylie, and Braiden. Chloe completed her studies at CSU in 2015, Haylie skates around the world for Disney on Ice, and Braiden is a middle school student. In 1993, I received my master plumber's license and launched my business. Through hard work and determination, we have developed the company to its current state. We appreciate the Lord for all His blessings and the loyal support from our clients!

Do not hire! Terrible experience. Tried to charge us $150 for showing up and not servicing anything. Hiring an attorney to take him to court.

Called because of unusual plumbing problems. Staff arrived quickly to help. Mike is always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

I needed an inspection of my boiler following an unfavourable home inspector's report. Chuck showed up on time, cheerful and friendly and gave the unit a look. He wrote a detailed report, countering the home inspector's findings and reassured me that the unit was ""a tank"" and ""would outlive all of us."" It did take a week for the visit, which is not unexpected, but in the end I'm very pleased with his assessment and report.

I called this business on October 13, and we had scheduled for them to come work on my house October 24. The appointment was for 3pm. On the day of the appointment at 3:20 I get a call saying they're too busy and can't make it. I waited almost 2 weeks and had to leave work early for this service. They wasted my time and I lost money. Unreliable...

They were working on my neighbor's house. The man rang my doorbell, I saw him on our camera but didn't answer because I was sick in bed. Next thing I know, I see him in my backyard. He went through our closed gate to fill up a big bucket of water. I am appalled that anyone would think this is okay?? I will definitely never get services through this company.

Our water heater was in stalled by Patrick Plumbing and Heating 8 years ago. We woke up this morning and did not have hot water. We called Patrick Plumbing and Heating and they took our name and number. A gentleman named Chuck called back, and my husband briefly described the problem and told Chuck we did not have hot water. Chuck told my husband it would be a week and a half before they could come out. My husband said, but your company installed it, don't you provide customer service? Chuck said there was nothing he could do we'd have to wait a week and half to have someone come out to look at our water heater and then hung up on my husband. I called Mike Patrick the owner, and he did nothing to try and resolve our issue. We spoke to another owner in our building that had the same issue, same water heater and Patrick Plumbing and Heating installed theirs. They were also told they would have to wait a week and a half for service, despite not having hot water. They were told that the company had many new installations and were back up. Well, if I were anyone purchasing a water heater I would NOT get it from these people. Poor customer service and rude behavior towards customers. I wouldn't even give them one star!!

We had Patrick plumbing come out to Estes to install a water meter. We had asked for quote before he came out, but he wouldn't give one over the phone. That should of been our 1st warning. We received a bill for $816.22! $150 for travel, $141 for materials, which I have no idea what materials were used. And $130 per hour for labor for a total of $520!! FOUR HOURS TO INSTALL A WATER METER! It shouldn't of taken 4 hours, nor did it take 4 hours to install a water meter. The service guy spent a good portion talking! I can tell you every nickname of the guys that work with him. I can even tell you what name pops up when his wife calls and why. He was distracted to the point when he was almost done he had a leak and couldn't figure out why. We left a message on Mr. Patrick's voicemail complaining about the service charge and how unhappy we are with the bill. To this day we have not heard from Patrick Plumbing. This shouldn't of been a difficult job. And this shouldn't of taken 4 hours! Very unhappy with Patrick Plumbing. Customer satisfaction is NOT his concern!!

I called Mike Patrick to 3 reasons. #1. 6 month old Moen kitchen faucet had low pressure on the hot water side and the spout needed tightening. #2. Bathroom value was leaking, needed to be swapped out with a new Delta value, tub spout, shower head. #3. Remove 2 old kitchen sinks and then install 2 new stainless steel drop in Kitchen sinks with new faucets & garbage disposals. I was quoted $130/hour. ""Chuck"" would not work on anything except Moen or Delta. ""Chuck"" arrived on time at 9:00am. After 1.5 hours of him huffing and puffing as he messed underneath a very clean/sanitary area under my kitchen sink, the only think that was accomplished was the tightening of the spout. (I also caught him twice on my Vivint doorbell camera SCREAMING Vulgar Language several times! Glad I didn't have children around! I shared this information with the owner of this company, Mike Patrick, obviously he doesn't care about his customers either... I have yet to hear anything from the company. Customer satisfaction is NOT of his concern.) He gripped and completed about ""Big Box"" items not being of good quality. He was frustrated the entire time, however he seemed to ""know it all"". He gave up trying to remedy the slow hot water flow. He didn't have any interest in replacing the bathroom shower/tub value since it wasn't going to be an ""easy"" fix. He then said he wouldn't have any more time to install one of the kitchen sinks needed. After he realized that the sink/faucet combo set I purchased was Glacier Bay, he refused to install it. Both of these sinks were for rental units. I told him I'd install myself. Being here 1-1/2 hours @ $130 you'd think the bill would be $195. Instead it's over $237... I had to pay for his ""travel time"" of 20 minutes. So.. $237 to tighten a kitchen sink. Here is the BIG kicker, I (High School diploma & a touch of common sense, mom of 4, married for 38 years) google YouTube and after spending 10 minutes trying to find the right size Allen wrench has the hot water flow up to normal within 15-20 minutes. Don't waste your time, Save your $$ DO NOT CALL this Arrogant ""plumber.""

I needed a new hot water heater and Patrick Plumbing & Heating were the first to respond and be available, which I appreciated. They covered the floor with tarps and did a good job. However, be aware that the amount quoted per hour is not the actual rate. I was quoted $130 per hour and I had 5 hours of service so I expected the charge to reflect that. I was actually charged for 8 hours of service because it turned out that it was $130 per hour per employee working and for an hour or so I had two guys here. Also I was charged for the time getting the permit for the heater and for unloading and loading the truck (I found this out because I called Mike Patrick and asked him why I was charged for 8 hours). It felt a little misleading. Also, I made a change to the order (I decided to have a hot water heater delivered from Home Depot to save $300) and Mike Patrick went down into my basement and had harsh words with his employee about allowing me to make that change. Just the way he spoke to him made me feel uncomfortable. The work was done well, though and he did give me a free estimate up front.

I used Patrick Plumbing many years ago in the 1990's to install a bathroom vanity/sink. They were honest, reliable and reasonably priced. I recently had need of a plumber and a neighbor recommended Patrick Plumbing- so I did not hesitate to use them again. They responded quickly and fixed my problem toilet. Very happy to have ""re-discovered"" them!
