Recommended Customer Reviews
I am pleased to report that the work done on my daughters home was done to her satisfaction. I am hesitant to unequivocally recommend based on the other not so stellar reviews. We even contacted AHS upon assignment with concerns about warranty scams, taking advantage of women, etc. upon having this vendor assigned. We are happy to be able to give a 5-star review based our particular experience. Perhaps this is an indication that the concerns of other customers are being addressed.
RUN!!!!!!! I agree with all of the negative reviews here about this company when connected with a home warranty (""total scam,"" ""double dip and charge the property owner,"" ""unreliable,"" fast-talkers, ""crooked,"" and grossly-inflated estimates, etc.). For those with home warranties, immediately request another contractor if assigned this company.
The shame is that they have done great work for us in the past, and they do seem to have a very good technical knowledge of their craft. As is evident with these reviews though, a little dishonesty and/or shady dealings stay with you for a long long time.
I ended up fixing my own issue in less than five minutes, avoiding the hundreds of dollars of work I was told would need to be done.
Total scammers! AHS assigned them to fix a pinhole leak in a copper pipe. They were quick to respond but then as soon as they saw the pinhole leak they told me the warranty company only covers wear and tear damages. This leak can only be caused due to ""electrolysis"". He then reported back to the warranty company that there are multiple leaks and the pipe has to be replaced. I paid $100 for service call, they asked for $295 as a partial payment from me, and they were charging the warranty company additional funds!! All to fix a small pinhole leak! I called AHS and they told me that they rely on their contractors assessment only.
I ended up paying $70 to a local plumber and got it fixed in 20 min. What a SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!
Had an old toilet clogged/overflowing. Alex and team were able to see us the next a day resolve issue and make recommendations for new toilet that they were able to install for us . Above and beyond pleasant, polite and efficient! Highly recommend
These guys are highly professional, responded to my quick request and diagnosed the problem in minutes and clearly explained the issue.
Wish there was a way to give negative stars. In August, submitted a service request on Wednesday through my home warranty company and get assigned this company. Tried to call them on Thursday to set up an appointment but it was after hours. Within 24 hours of the service request, they should have attempted to reach me. On Friday I try them again only to get their vm saying they are closed Friday - Sunday. I left a message and shortly got a text asking what I needed. After some back and forth, he says he can come out that day to look at a broken toilet handle and a broken faucet. He says that Is unable to fix the handle because he has to order it. Claims it should come in on Monday. The facuet can't be fixed so he's going to need to do a cash out option with the warranty company. He claims it could take up 2 weeks for the cash out to get processed but he'll be back on Tuesday to finish up the toilet.
Fast forward to Tuesday, by 3pm there's no response from him. When I text him, he claims to be on his way to the hospital because of a sick mother and the only other plumber is at a job too far away. He asks if he can reschedule to tomorrow. Wednesday, I text him early to find out his ETA. His response? No one is in my area so it will have to be tomorrow. WTH?? Thursday rolls around and he eventually shows up and fixes the toilet. In the process he breaks the float in the tank which I have to get fixed by an actual legit person who knows what they are doing because I don't want him anywhere near my home.
Weeks go by and no word from the warranty company about the cash out for the broken faucet. Every call to them is a different story. They call the so-called plumber who verbally tells them about the cash out and promises to do the paperwork. More weeks go by and still no response from Patrick Murphy to the warranty company. Finally in October the warranty company says that Patrick Murphy updated the service information to indicate he fixed the faucet!! THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE!! I have the text messages to prove he never intended to fix it. They have a recording of him verbally saying he didn't fix it but in the end they took his word (no actual proof) that the faucet is fixed.
This company is completely unprofessional and unreliable. Don't let them anywhere near your home.
First, communication with this company is very poor. My home warranty company set me up with P.M. Plumbing and I received a text asking if I was available. When I finally got to reply, I asked for other possible dates and then texted again for the original time. I got no response. I had to text two more times to get a response on a new service date. They came late in the window when I pleaded for them to come early. The plumber was nice, according to my husband, and he replaced a part. However, the issue wasn't fix when he left and when my husband went back to work. I've called over four times to schedule a follow up visit and heard NOTHING. I even went back to my home warranty to make another appointment. NOTHING! It's been over a week and no one from this company has reached out and my toilet is still consistently running. Find yourself someone else.
Jeff M.Horrible this company is a total scam!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away. They charge the warranty company then find a reason to double dip and charge the property owner.
Andrew A.This company does not communicate. Came out for initial assessment with no parts. Scheduled return visit and no show. All calls go to voicemail. If you are lucky they will text you back. Setting of appointments through a reply text message from them, they still are no shows on their proposed date and time. I would not recommend this company for anyone. Went to another company and was way less and was actually able to talk to someone.
0 stars. Didn't fix my stoppage, didn't respond once notified it wasn't fixed, now I have sludge in my basement. Total waste of time, money and energy. Trust me and find another plumber.
