Wish there was a way to give negative stars. In August, submitted a service request on Wednesday through my home warranty company and get assigned this company. Tried to call them on Thursday to set up an appointment but it was after hours. Within 24 hours of the service request, they should have attempted to reach me. On Friday I try them again only to get their vm saying they are closed Friday - Sunday. I left a message and shortly got a text asking what I needed. After some back and forth, he says he can come out that day to look at a broken toilet handle and a broken faucet. He says that Is unable to fix the handle because he has to order it. Claims it should come in on Monday. The facuet can't be fixed so he's going to need to do a cash out option with the warranty company. He claims it could take up 2 weeks for the cash out to get processed but he'll be back on Tuesday to finish up the toilet.
Fast forward to Tuesday, by 3pm there's no response from him. When I text him, he claims to be on his way to the hospital because of a sick mother and the only other plumber is at a job too far away. He asks if he can reschedule to tomorrow. Wednesday, I text him early to find out his ETA. His response? No one is in my area so it will have to be tomorrow. WTH?? Thursday rolls around and he eventually shows up and fixes the toilet. In the process he breaks the float in the tank which I have to get fixed by an actual legit person who knows what they are doing because I don't want him anywhere near my home.
Weeks go by and no word from the warranty company about the cash out for the broken faucet. Every call to them is a different story. They call the so-called plumber who verbally tells them about the cash out and promises to do the paperwork. More weeks go by and still no response from Patrick Murphy to the warranty company. Finally in October the warranty company says that Patrick Murphy updated the service information to indicate he fixed the faucet!! THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE!! I have the text messages to prove he never intended to fix it. They have a recording of him verbally saying he didn't fix it but in the end they took his word (no actual proof) that the faucet is fixed.
This company is completely unprofessional and unreliable. Don't let them anywhere near your home.

First, communication with this company is very poor. My home warranty company set me up with P.M. Plumbing and I received a text asking if I was available. When I finally got to reply, I asked for other possible dates and then texted again for the original time. I got no response. I had to text two more times to get a response on a new service date. They came late in the window when I pleaded for them to come early. The plumber was nice, according to my husband, and he replaced a part. However, the issue wasn't fix when he left and when my husband went back to work. I've called over four times to schedule a follow up visit and heard NOTHING. I even went back to my home warranty to make another appointment. NOTHING! It's been over a week and no one from this company has reached out and my toilet is still consistently running. Find yourself someone else.

Horrible this company is a total scam!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away. They charge the warranty company then find a reason to double dip and charge the property owner.

This company does not communicate. Came out for initial assessment with no parts. Scheduled return visit and no show. All calls go to voicemail. If you are lucky they will text you back. Setting of appointments through a reply text message from them, they still are no shows on their proposed date and time. I would not recommend this company for anyone. Went to another company and was way less and was actually able to talk to someone.

0 stars. Didn't fix my stoppage, didn't respond once notified it wasn't fixed, now I have sludge in my basement. Total waste of time, money and energy. Trust me and find another plumber.

We have the water-shutoff valve, for all 6 condo units in our row , in our basement. That valve was leaking 4 days ago, & OUR excellent plumber was able to stop the leak but told me no one should TOUCH that valve until the Water Company could come out and shut off the outside valve; THEN the broken valve in our basement could be safely replaced.
Our condo association office told me they have a plumbing company they know & trust who can turn off the outside valve and then replace the inside one. Okay... so their plumber came out and found the outside valve. I told him IT HAS TO BE TOTALLY OFF BEFORE ANYONE TOUCHES THE INSIDE VALVE. He said, okay, well, he WAS NOT ABLE TO TURN THE OUTSIDE VALVE COMPLETELY OFF , but he wanted to try something down in our basement. Whatever he did BROKE A TWO-INCH HOLE IN THE PIPE, which proceeded to FLOOD our basement (4 rooms). THEN, he drove away!!! to get emergency equipment, and was gone for AN HOUR - and YES, all this time that pipe was gushing and flooding our basement!! The emergency equipment he brought back did not help; he called another plumber and they were finally able to stop the leak - temporarily.
Would I recommend them? O. M. G.

Unfortunately we had the displeasure of working with this company through our Home Warranty Insurance. I only wished we had read their reviews on google earlier before allowing them into our home to do the work. Peter was the plumber assigned to our case, he was very unprofessional, dishonest, and worst of all, incompetent. He failed to follow up with his work and worst of all, he either lied in his report to the insurance company or never turned it causing problems for us. I definitely would be cautious when using them and be wary of their poor quality service.

What a crooked POS who was caught with his slime hand in the cookie jar.
I received three estimates for a leaking overhead sewer pipe and Patrick Murphy was the last. All three plumbers had the exact same diagnosis and the same remedy. The first plumber said it was a 2 hour job and would cost $500. The company who remodeled my kitchen and bath quoted $400 and then Patrick Murphy comes in saying it's a huge job and will be over $1,000!
Sounds like he wants to take advantage of the female customer. By the way, he was also the only one who charged for the estimate. I made Home Warranty if America that this guy is a misogynist crook.
