I moved into a new place and the existing boiler is 20 years old or so. A week after the move the boiler starts turning off and requires a manual reset. I have a relative who i trust in these matters but he was traveling and was only able to give somre advice by phone.

I called 3 companies:

Company 1: $230 to say hello (applied to future work). Suggested a thorough 'cleaning' for $450 and to switch out some one way valves for no valves (they said the valves were unnecessary) for a total of $1,800

Company 2: The old boiler needs replacement. As we are in a 4 story townhouse the boiler needs to be lioght commercial. Some new pipes and valves... $28,000 (!!!)

Pat Sementa: $160 for the call. The tech Identified the main issue very quickly and fixed it on the spot. He also bled the air out of the radiators on one floor where the heat wasn't working. He also identified a damaged expansion tank and had it replaced with a new one. Total $1030.

My rating should be -5, that is MINUS 5! This review is in addition to the last review I left about this place. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! These people are crooks. They recently sent me a new invoice, (scare tactic). This new one says they are going to report me to the credit unions and put a lean on my property. For disputing an overcharge on their part. I say try it and see what happens. I should be taking them to small claims court but it was shut down because of COVID. I am a senior citizen, which does not mean I am a sucker or stupid. My credit score is 825. That is because I pay my bills on time. I have never seen such an unethical business since before the internet was around, that's a really long time. Are you people so naïve to think that your reputation doesn't proceed you. People DO read reviews. The point is they sent an overweight guy who did not have a plumbers license to my house and thought they could get away with minimal work for an exorbitant price. That is not how an honest day of work is done. Stay tuned for my next chapter if these sleaze bags continue their unethical dishonest practices.

I called this company because the prior owners of my house used them. Called once and was told they would get back to me to schedule. Called 4 weeks later and was given a 3 hr time frame when the tech would come. Never heard from him, never came.

TOTAL CON ARTISTS !!! Pat Sementa conducts shady business. This is not an honest or helpful company to hire for any of your needs. You will end up with violations due to their own negligence for not doing the work you hired them to do and then they will charge you ridiculous fees to resolve those violations. On top of that, they will try to sneak in more charges and fees by dragging out the process and missing deadlines. Totally unprofessional and simply a scam. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

I called for them to come help me with my stove and they came within two hours of me calling them. Brian was pleasant and very informative. They are very friendly and take pride in their work. I recommend them highly.

This is an absolutely terrible company, it is shocking that they are allowed to remain in business.
The plumber we called came quickly and was very nice and professional, they tried a few things and thought they fixed the leak and charged us the regular $2000. But then more things kept breaking and they kept returning and charging us more and would never stop.
And when we refused to have them come back, they ""remembered"" that they hadn't charged for some parts and sent a new bill.
There is no accountability and no honesty in the billing, even though the plumber was very nice.

Not only did they not come when promised but they over charged me
on an ignition module by 350 percent.
A part that costs retail $130 they charged me $469. Later
Called office but they never returned my call.

Unless you want to spend two thousand dollars a pipe and be completely and utterly scammed do not use this company. The employees are rude and condescending, with unnecessary remarks about things that have nothing to do with them.. Just outright disrespectful, you can tell they are used to arguing with people about inflated prices, scamming is a part of their routine. When you have a contract with them, they will tell you one price and then include clauses that will inflate the already inflated cost to thousands of dollars over what you agreed to. This company preys on people's lack of knowledge. Unfortunately when my family chose this company I was out of town and could not properly vet them. Do not work with these people. They originally tried to charge us $7000 dollars for a job that we got done by a very reputable company for $1500.. now that's insane! Save your money and your sanity.
