Jack C.We needed a plumber for our elderly neighbor across the street from us. He had a leaking water valve in his bathtub, and a bad toilet, and a under the sink water heater. I had called Big Bear Plumbing and Heating before, but never gain. I had the Moffett crew come out and give us a price on all that needed fixed. No service charge! That was good. The work was done the next day. I think we got a fair price for our neighbor. The work was finished on time, and all work, and items, work great. Thanks Pat and Tom. If you have problems, this is your plumber!!!!
Very happy with their quick response and great service. Will definitely use again!
Called another local plumber first who seemed annnoyed I called.
They were very expensive compared to other estimates I received...Their estimate was THOUSANDS more than other estimates....The only reason I could see for the high estimate was their new trucks, fancy , pretty uniforms , booties and slick promotional sales materials, etc...Their plan was to get me to pay for what must be a massive overhead....I mean parts only can cost so much and it can only take a certain amount of time to do a plumbing job....They try to baffle with BS to explain away the cost discrepancy but it is simply just a plumbing job....Nothing baffling there.....
I think they prey on people that think expensive means better. It May in some things but I do not think plumbing is one of them....They probably do a ok job...
Late posting this but a week and a half ago I called for a shower valve to be replaced after being told by the home warranty plumber that the pipes for the shower were installed backwards. All that was needed was the shower valve had to be replaced and Pat the tech changed it out and all is well. He did have to come back to lube the stem but great service and followed up with a call.
We own one of the Forest Service cabins near the dam. I set an appointment with these guys, and I've now got a reliable Big Bear plumber after looking for my entire adult life. The fix was much more involved than expected, and they figured it out. Even came back on the weekend to finish the job. The cost was extremely reasonable. 100% impressed by this company!
Bmenish ..Tom sent a kid over to snake the toilet he made a huge mess. Tom came to my house and with little to no questions asked he cleaned up the mess and went beyond my expectation.
I called and made an appointment for the following day for a leaking valve is the shower. They gave me a two hour window but said they would try to get there as early as possible. They were right on time. My Valve was replace and life was simple again. Thank you for a job well done.
Lisa H.We were pleased with the quick response and same day service. We had a leak in the wall and the guys were careful to open it out of sight and only where needed. They finished in a timely fashion and the price seemed fair. I would definitely use them again.
heidi l.I had a backed up sewer. They came out right away, rotor rooted the sewer drain. On time, nice guys, all the right equipment with them. It's been a few months now and no more problems.
Kayli M.We had our water heater replaced by TM. It is a newer version and we thought it wasn't working. They came out to fix it, and it turned out to be operator error. ? We felt pretty dumb, but they were nice about it. Then, as we were here enjoying our cabin, we found a leak coming from under the kitchen cabinets. They couldn't make it out again that day, but came the next morning. Fixed a connection. Before the guy left, we found water on the floor in the bathroom. Turned our that the tube in the post thing, in the tank, was too short and would flip out, and be like a water wiggle inside the tank! He changed it to a longer one, we paid him and he left.
Then, we didn't have much water coming from the kitchen sink. Called TM again, and they told us over the phone to clean out the tip of the faucet - the aerator. ? We now know more about plumbing, and hope we can go a few years before we have to call again.
I hate plumbing problems, but I appreciate TM and all the guys that helped us be able to enjoy our cabin once again. Thank you!
