I called Tom because we received a letter at our home in Orange County from BB City Services regarding a ""high meter read check"". And our bill for a few months was $250!!
Being in Orange County, I thought I need to drive to the cabin and possibly find a broken pipe between the meter and our underground shut-off valve.
Tom was a hero!! He went to our cabin and found that the underground shut-off valve was not 100% closed. I requested he send me an invoice for his time. Twice he said ""don't worry about it"". I will use his company for any plumbing work from now on!!

Just had Tom Moffett and his crew in my shop a couple days ago to fix an issue with the bathroom and they did an amazing job.
Worked fast and had no problem getting the job done. We were trying to fix it ourselves for almost 2 weeks and our only regret is not calling them sooner.

Horrible! I called them to repair a shower that wasn't working. They charged me for two plumbers at an hourly rate; one stood around while the other was changing a washer. $700! Needless to say, that was the first and last time I'll use them!

My house has 50 year old galvanized steel drain pipes which apparently are quite corroded inside. This means normal content gets stuck inside the pipe and sometime builds up to completely clog the line. It really gets ugly sometimes.

Called Tom Moffett Plumbing and they came out promptly. Did a thorough job on snaking out the drain, works perfectly once again, at a very reasonable price.

I could not be happier with their work or price.

Very fast (here in 20 minutes) and reasonably priced. Had to have a cold water valve replaced on a Saturday and while he was here, he replaced the kitchen faucet. He accidentally did not turn the hot water valve on completely, but to his credit it was very stiff and felt open even when I tried to trouble shoot it that night. Called back the next morning, left a message. The ringer was off in our cabin; I just thought no one was calling back-my mistake. Just when I thought we'd spend Sunday without hot water, he showed up and was very apologetic. They are my new go- to plumbers.

The day after Christmas, I called for help with a water heater and the office immediately sent over Pat. He spent at least fifteen minutes assessing the problem as actually being with a circulating pump. As this was under warranty from another contractor, he correctly recommended I contact that plumber to repair the problem.

Most impressively, he refused payment for the visit as he said he had not actually performed work. But having come out immediately upon my call, his expertise was really valuable to me.

I will definitely return to Tom Moffett for my next plumbing needs.

I was staying at a friends cabin in Big Bear and noticed a leak under the toilet. I called several plumbers, but since it was Saturday no one seemed to around. Called moffett Plumbing and spoke with a lady who said someone would be by within the hour. I wasn't holding my breath, but about a half hour later they showed up, fixed the leak (wax ring needed to be replaced) and were gone in about an hour. I put their name on the call list at the cabin.
