I rent the home, and our Land Lord (s) are very nice and very accommodating to the needs of the home when an issue arises.
Three weeks ago, we had Paschal Air come to the house to service our AC unit. Unfortunately, we had a rat (s) in the attic. The technician refused to service our AC, so a call went to the landlord.
They hired a pest control company & one rat was caught in the trap. So fast forward to Friday, July 19th.
Paschal sends out a technician to service the unit. He changed the filter and asked to see if I had a replacement filter. This company was doing a service, and he should have had his own filters on his truck. Now, after an hour, he was ready to go outside and check to see how the cooling system was outside. We have a hose, but it was cracked up as it was a cloth hose. He ran water over the unit to wash the coils down. I, being the renter, do this task at least once a month because I previously owned my own home before moving to Denton 3 years ago. Roommate took over, and all this tech wanted to do was upsell a service that we didn't need nor want. So a call was put into our landlord. The tech said some parts were broken and needed replacement. It did not effect how the AC was running. Answer was no do not replace. This tech was hard selling a contract for service. The unit is new, just maybe 4 years. The AC unit is a Goodman, and it is manufactured locally in Carrollton, TX.
The bottom line was that the tech was pushing Hard to sell a service contract, and he wasted three hours of my roommates time. After the tech left, my roommate called our landlord. He had never used this company before. I know that when next year rolls around for services, we actually will be using another company, and it will not be Pashcal!!!
The ideal service would have been service the unit and go on to your next call of work, somewhere else. Not hump the roommate and put pressure to buy their service contract!!!

Cortlandt H.I had this company replace my water heater and service my air conditioning in my home. Have nothing but the highest praise for everyone I have been working with at Paschal. I have been particularly impressed with every technician that has been at my home working. Communication, timeliness, neatness , ability to resolve and complete the work and answer all my questions exceeded my expectations and their documentation. Including pics,was great.
You will be pleasantly surprised by this company and its representatives. Oh, they were competitively priced. Look no further for a mechanical contractor!!!!!
Tom K.The technician could have made a mistake, however it would have been an expensive one for me. He said my circuitboard was not working right and possibly my transformer. They gave me a price of $1900 to fix a unit I bought from them seven years ago and said that might not even fix the problem. More could be going on. I got a second opinion from Lara Air. They said the problem was the thermostat not the unit. Said it was pretty simple. I paid $75 for a new thermostat and the charge to come out. Always get a second opinion.
Was connected through Yelp projects because I was having some AC issues. They reached out quickly and was able to send a technician over. They were friendly and knowledgeable. Checked out my system and gave some recommendations. Everything seems to be working great again. Highly recommend for them for your AC needs
Be careful with these guys! Back when they were Walker, they were good. They installed new A/C units about 5 years ago with a 10 year parts warranty. Here's how that works: if something fails with your AC, they'll be glad to "order the warranty part" and you can wait 3 weeks--or if you want to pay an extra few hundred dollars, they just happen to have a "replacement part" on the truck. "Sheep shearing" is what this is called. So caveat emptor (let the buyer beware!).

We acquired this company as our HVAC service provider when they bought out the former company providing our service. Unfortunately, my first experience with Paschal was a horrible one and will be my last. Our 5 year outside unit quit working and the tech came out and diagnosed (scheduling was an issue as they could not give you a morning or afternoon timeframe of when to expect a tech) and told me my unit was not under warranty so it would be a $7-13k repair for components and that it might be worth us just purchasing an entire new unit for just a few thousand more. He then set up a "comfort advisor" to come a couple of hours later to discuss "options" on how to get us air. In the meantime, I contacted the HVAC manufacturer, who confirmed I did indeed have a warranty and all I would be responsible for would be labor and refrigerant. When the comfort advisor arrived, I discussed my frustration with the lack of knowledge on his tech's end concerning my warranty, so he verified it easily accessible to the tech when he was able to pull it up in 5 seconds. The comfort advisor also tried to tell us parts would probably be 7-10 days before they could get them, and again tried to sell us on an entire new unit. They estimated a cost of $4.5k, even with a warranty, for repairs.
Needless to say, we went for a second opinion and there was a 1 day wait on parts, but the price was half of what Paschal quoted and was repaired by a tech who went above and beyond to get us air in this awful Texas heat.
AND HERE IS MY MAIN REASON FOR THIS REVIEW...
As we had just signed a service agreement renewal with Paschal, but no longer wanted to do business with them after the attempt to sale us something instead of working to get us up and running, I called and asked to speak with a manager or owner to discuss all of the above issues and to ask for a refund and cancellation of the service agreement. I waited 3 days and never received a call. I called today and spoke with Donna who told me they did not offer refunds of the agreements. When I asked to speak with someone else, she asked if I wanted the refund to my credit card and then hung up on me. THIS IS NOT A CUSTOMER ORIENTED COMPANY AND I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
