I really needed someone to check on my plumbing quick. I had water backing up in my tub. I called the number and Mike called me back in less than 5 minutes. I informed him that I needed to pick up my kids in the afternoon so he showed up in less than an hour. Got the job done in 15 minutes cleaning out the main sewer line. Awesome work. Great guy! Very professional and courteous. Will use them again (but hopefully not too soon). Thanks Mike!

On early Labor Day morning at around 8:30AM, I called this company which advertises 24/7 Emergency services. My Rheem hot water heater (16 months old) had failed. Someone answered the phone and told me he had an employee who lived in my area, and would call me right back. One and one-half hours later, I called for a follow-up. No one answered the phone. Another fraudulent advertiser. I will avoid these people like the plague, and I will relate this incident to my friends.

Mike of Pasadena Plumbing went the extra mile and responded promptly to a water heater problem for my clients' at their new home, on a holiday weekend. He answered an early morning phone call, and fixed the issue that afternoon, so their hot water was up and running again. Greatly appreciated and highly recommended.

Had an old water heater crap out on a Saturday night. Next day replaced the thermocouple, went to re-light, pilot wouldn't stay lit. Called Michael at Pasadena Plumbing asking him to return my call on Monday. On Monday, early, got my phone call.
I explained the situation, he said he'd come out but he was really packed that day. Despite his crazy schedule and the holiday week, he comes by, gives a great quote, picked it up, delivered, installed, cleaned up everything, and left, like he was Santa's elf or something.
Great job, on time, excellent service, great price, and Mike left my family knowing we had ease and professionalism on our side.

Top notch plumber and totally honest guy. This is the second time I've had to call Mike for a repair. This last time, he came out and fixed my problem the same day I called, but because a complete fix required me to order a part, he didn't charge me until he came back and completed the repair. When's the last time that happened for you with a repairman? Unbelievable. In the meantime, he gave me an easy work-around. I'll never call another plumber. He's the only guy you should call.

We had a sewage backup in our 1927 Pasadena home. Mike was very cordial and business-like on the phone and he came out very quickly after I called. He was accurate in his assessment of the problem, and guessing where the main sewage line was.

The next morning he brought out his crew promptly at 8am. They did the work quickly, cleanly, and correctly, communicated effectively and were friendly and helpful as well. And they were careful in preserving existing plants and lawn (ancient sewage outflow main had to be located ( more than 4 feet down), dug out, and a cleanout installed before they could find and eliminate the roots blockage. Three hours to do the job. That was very quick, indeed.

Clearly they are very experienced and professional. The price was right, in fact a good deal less than their cautionary estimate, and on par with a similar job I had to do some years ago at another location (which took a lot longer!)

They installed a dishwasher and did a good job I believe. They were very professional. But the reason I'm giving them three stars is for two things: 1). I got a quote on something else which seemed pretty high, and 2). he refused to work on this newer plumbing material under our house cause it was not copper. But overall, they are professional and seem to have good quality work, but I only used them once for a dishwasher install. So I can't speak with complete reliability in these things since I only used them once.

I just called to try to get a quote and ""Mike"" (or whatever his name was) was not only condescending but showed poor customer service skills. I was ready to give him my business and that call was all I needed to ""click"" say ""good-bye""! If that's the service you get over the phone I do not want to figure out what the actual service would look like.

I called this company last night (Sunday) although it wasn't a ""life or death"" emergency but it was a family emergency because we'd had a day and a half without a working shower and an overflowing sink. We didn't get a call back for some reason but we called them again in the morning and they were here within the hour.

They knocked on the door and presented themselves with a business card which was assuring in this day in age (especially with imposters who try to rob people and such). They gave a quick inspection and quoted us 150 if it was one drain and 200 if it was two separate ones. This was higher than I anticipated but we took it anyways because we didn't have much time on our hands to get this fixed.

The two men finished quickly, in about 25 minutes, and they told us that there was indeed a structural problem as I had expected. The main guy encouraged us to talk to the landlord and carefully explained what we needed to tell him was broken. I appreciated his honesty and in the end they gave us a discount because we explained our landlord doesn't pay for any repairs.

If you want the cheapest price, you could probably get a better deal elsewhere. But these are nice professionals who get the job done when you really need it!

This is for their 24 hour emergency service: Took the good reviews from Yelp as a reason to try these local guys (instead of huge national franchises)
Main sewer line was suddenly backing up with no slowage (as is were) to warn me of a pending problem.
10 minutes after I left a voicemail they called me. 15 minutes after that they were here! They solved it, they spent extra time to make sure I wouldn't have more problems (they ran the snake as far as possible to clear out as much as possible, turned out to be root problems) and even gave me recommendations on what I could do myself without having to pay a plumber to help with this problem in the future.
Put me down as super-satisfied customer.
