Please be very careful with Parobek! The appointment I was told that I had was for a tech to come out to perform the work. When the appointment time came, the person that arrived was an estimator that gave me a $2,000+ quote for $500 worth of work. On top of this, when I asked for their hourly rate, the estimator responded that he didn't know how much they charge per hour..... This is a clear sign they are out to take advantage of folks. Please be careful.

I tell you!!! Parobek has been like heaven since 1st contact. We had some plumbing work done by Sam Walbert and Julio Quintanilla and the customer service was amazing. They were very professional and caring in their job. One thing that really stood out was how neat they were with digging the hole and their work space!!!! Awesome!!!!

Parobek's techs are well trained, courteous and highly professional. They replaced my 20 year old AC with a new Rheem. Arrived as scheduled on a HOT August morning, gave me an estimate of how long it would take, and kept me informed as things progressed. They finished earlier than expected. I asked them to check on some of the ducts that had fallen previously, and they quickly rehung them for me. Advised on operation of the system and asked if I had any questions throughout the installation. I highly recommend Mauricio and Nick. Excellent job!

I would give them less than 1Star if possible. I had a family member in Bastrop that had their A/C not blowing cold. Parobek quoted over $1500 to clean the coils outside the house and inside the house. I knew that was too high. We called around and found other companies would charge $350 to $500 to do the same job. One company told me that they were very busy and how to clean them myself. For the cost of 2 cans of coil cleaner spray ($8 each at Lowe's), I cleaned the coils and A/C works great. Parobek was a gigantic price gouging rip off in my opinion.

Jarrett was amazing. This is the second time we have used them and it won't be the last. We appreciate how Parobek has treated us like a valuable customer each time we have used them. Jarrett was professional, courteous, quick and most importantly honest. This is what you want from a company. We also had them install a tankless water heater and it's been amazing. Jarrett came out yesterday and fixed our AC, and looked over our other unit to make sure it was running properly as well. Efficient. Thoughtful. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it fast. Would definitely recommend.

In the midst of a record-breaking heatwave late June 2023, (naturally) our air conditioning condenser quit pumping freon. Despite what must have been unprecedented demand for a/c services, Parobek sent Jarrett Randle to our location...way out in the countryside.
Jarrett took time to explain the diagnosis regimen as well as company policy for informing us of his findings and getting approval from us for associated repair costs prior to performing work. A good, transparent policy that I appreciate (and find lacking in other so-called "professionals").
Within ten minutes of my explanation of what was happening & not happening with our 3-year-old system, Jarrett determined the root cause of the condenser's compressor not running: the cheap Chinese-made factory capacitor in our Goodman 5-ton condenser was toast. Jarrett took the time to show me the voltage level that capacitor was holding (which was far below the required level to start the compressor). Five minutes later, he had the system working.
Now, he could have just stopped there, however, in response to my comment that the unit had always shuddered upon start-up, Jarrett produced a package of components labeled, "Compressor Saver"...something I had never heard of. He explained that it would cure the shuddering issue by supplying an additional surge of voltage to the compressor upon start-up, thus preventing a high amperage draw (the very thing that made the lights in our home flicker when the unit started up previously) which would prolong the life of the compressor. A five-ton condenser, even a Chinese brand like our Goodman, is not an inexpensive purchase. Seeing part of it fizzle out after only 3 years immediately convinced me that the additional Compressor Saver kit was a worthy investment.
All-in all, the entire repair process and subsequent confirmation testing took less than an hour--so my wife and I were blessed to not having to spend the night trying to sleep in 90-degree temperatures.
Jarrett demonstrated a remarkable knowledge of diagnostics, repair and upgrade skills...plus, as a local cattleman, it turns out that we had a few acquaintances in common, so a couple of enlightening stories were swapped in the process.
We highly recommend Jarrett Randle for any air conditioning service. Likewise, Parobek's dispatcher (Tina) was very helpful with her quick response, plus, she even followed up with a phone call to make sure that the job was completed satisfactorily. VERY professional. A stark contrast to two local Bozos that came out 3 years ago to complete the system installation when it was brand new. Yeah, Adam at Atom A/C, I'm calling you worthless.

Had a foul septic smell that we could not figure out, so Daniel from Parobek went nuclear and pumped high-density smoke into the septic cleanout. It immediately identified the source of the leak, so it proved to be much more precise than going by smell alone. While they were under the house they also fixed loose pipes without jacking up the quote. They even corrected previous plumbing errors. In the long run, I should have went with these guys from the beginning because they won't give up until they solve the problem, and they fully guarantee their work.

Michael Clark at Parobec Plumbing gives amazing customer service! We had a strong gas smell in our kitchen. We turned off the gas to the house and Parobec dispatched Michael to check it out. He was extremely thorough and super helpful. Turned out to be minor but Michael made sure we were comfortable and that everything was safe. Thanks Michael!
