I was dumb enough to call PPM to do two jobs for me but i will NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN!

1. Called PPM to do a simple fridge line installation. The tech showed up and said he could only do a fridge line installation if I replaced the water shut off valve since the water pressure was too high they claimed and it would cost an extra $300. I said whatever go ahead and fix it and after he left I had a horrible buzzing noise in the house every time the water turned on, so the tech came back out and just turned the water pressure back up so the noise would go away. This defeated the purpose of even having him install a new water shut off valve that I never wanted in the first place!

2. A different tech comes out to give me an estimate on replacing my water heater which turned out to be an absorbent amount, but I explained to him that my water pressure is high and that his company installed a new valve for me last year and if I turn the water down then there is a horrible buzzing noise. He confirmed that the valve that was installed was not the correct one, but if I bought a water heater from him then he would replace it for free. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT PUT THE WRONG VALVE ON IN THE FIRST PLACE! ARE YOU KIDDING?! So after much argument they agreed to put the correct valve on and resolve the problem that the first tech did a lousy job on. HALLELUJAH! So they sent a different tech out who showed up 3 hours late for the appointed time to fix the valve and a few days before he showed up I called and I told them that rather then replace the functioning water heater I had I would like them to just replace the anode rod to help the tank get better life and I would ride it out til it dies. They responded that they don't do any work on water heaters over 15 years old and that they would only sell me a new one if I wanted.

THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISHONEST AND HAVE NO INTEGRITY AND WILL LIE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AS OPPOSED TO FIXING WHAT YOU CALL THEM FOR! BUYER BEWARE!

I used PPM this week to install a new air conditioner and as I have been in my experiences in the past with them, I was highly impressed by the level of expertise and professionalism demonstrated! All the staff (both Casey's and Ellery) answered all my questions and provided detailed options.
They are not satisfied with ""just making do"", but consistently provide quality products and services.
I would recommend them (and have) to family, friends and others!

I WROTE A REVIEW YESTERDAY I want to discard about Jaron's work. I tried to delete it but Yelp would not let me even edit it. I was talking about Jaron. I am Kathy Smith. He came back and explained everything that he did, and why they use plastic pipes now, and he gave me back my tub faucet. They are a good company and I will use them again.

We all find ourselves in need of a plumber now and then when things get backed up. Or, in my case, when you need a gas line pulled, and a shoddy shower valve install made right.

Ellery, from Parley's, showed up on time - for both appointments - was extremely respectful of both me and my home, and did a fantastic job with both projects.

My new shower valve had been botched during install and left for dead. I didn't even know everything that was wrong with it. All I knew is that my brand new $1,200 shower valve didn't work. Ellery took one look at it and explained what was wrong with what he saw. It took him 30 minutes to repair and replace everything in need, and when he left, I had a working shower.

I called him to come back and plumb my gas line, which had to find its way through the exterior of my home to a grill bib. He even estimated that it would take him twice as long as it did. He was finished up before I knew it, and ... again, I had a system that worked.

I've never had a moment's issue with any of the work performed by Ellery. I request him now when I call for service at Parley's. I have always appreciate how I've been dealt with there, from the intake/schedulers to Ellery, my serviceman. Invoicing and billing have always been 100% correct, leaving me with little doubt about Parley's integrity. Whenever I've need them, Parley's has been there in a reasonable time. And I never feel overcharged or underserviced, which is typical of most companies in this industry.

Parley's is my plumber any ol' day.

The plumber did a good job, but spent far too much time talking. He was at my home for about two and a half hours doing a job that only took about 30 minutes. My time is precious, too, as is my money ($300!). I won't be using this company again.

I am a realtor and my seller lives out of town. When I called to get an estimate on a repair that needed to be made, the receptionist took my information to have a professional call me and within ten minutes I was able to get a second opinion over the phone and scheduled an appointment for the next day to get an estimate.

Robert was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions about the water heater and the manabloc.

We scheduled him to make the repair and he was easily accessible when I needed to change the time of our appointment. The replacement of the manabloc took less than 2 hours and came in less than the estimated bid!

I will definitely be using this company again.

We have used PPM (now Parley's PPM) for years for our home plumbing and HVAC needs. They've fixed our furnace, our boiler, put in new plumbing on a bathroom remodel, installed an entire Mr.Slim heating & a/c system, and I'm sure a few other things I can't remember. They are professional, prompt, and best of all they fix it RIGHT. I've never had to call them back and have them re-do anything like I have with a lot of other home repair companies. I would highly recommend Parley's PPM!

Overpriced! Less than an hour to detect and fix a simple leak in the end of a copper pipe fix-was billed $247.00.
Should have used ""In-Line"" plumbing company in Utah (as I have before) at $120.00 an hour.

I recently had PPM come to my house to replace an outdoor drinking fountain bubbler. He came to the house at noon took a look went to get the part, came back, turned off water, changed part, turned on water, checked part in under an hour. Then brought the bill of $287!!!! There was no breakdown of the bill... ie, how much for part, how much for labor. When my husband asked how much he had paid for the part, he told us $120. Then told us they just had a basic fee for coming to do this kind of job. So, $167 for labor an hour!?!?! We then checked the internet for the exact part he put on our faucet (we kept the box). It was $35 and that was including shipping. I cannot recommend these guys at all.

I am remodeling areas of my house and ran into some trouble. I needed someone to come out quickly. I found PPM and they were able to help. They came out fast. They were friendly, educational, and quick to help. I had to replace lots of angle stops, a leak in my kitchen, and then lastly the garbage disposal. They suggested putting in heavy duty disposal which I was happy about (Badger 5 xp) and finally the bill came. $807!!! I found the same garbage disposal in other places and online for $100! I am very happy with their service but feel like I paid WAY to much!!! If only my husband had been home he could made sure that would not have happend! Too expensive!
