Parks installed a tankless water heater at my home earlier this year. Their follow up service is NON EXISTENT. Their customer service people are not knowledgeable nor competent. They always will have a manager call you, and they never do. Now Christmas Day and the cap on the pipe where they removed the old water tank has burst. I questioned how this was left when it was originally done and was assured it was correct. Apparently I was right. This has nothing to do w the weather. Now trying to contact their emergency service. It's an answering service who says ""we hope they'll contact you tonight but if they don't I'm sure someone will call you tomorrow."" Meanwhile I have running water from an uncapped pipe. Do not use Parks for anything. There are plenty of other options.
My floors were ruined by a leak caused by a Parks plumber in August. It's now November and I am still waiting for them to issue me a check for the damages. I have had countless calls and texts blown off by the plumbing manager, Jim. Mistakes happen everywhere, but it's how they fix those mistakes that matters.
Allison T.Horrible experience. They caused thousands of dollars in damage to our home. Never followed up. Please, go anywhere else but this untrustworthy 'business'.
The company price gouged for a simple repair. I could not recommend them for the simplest of service. I live out of area and own a rental in the area, I contacted them to repair my furnace and was given a price of nearly $1400 to replace less than $50 of parts (flame sensor, ignition, capacitor), that took the repair man 1 hour to replace. **** my tenant photographed the repair before and after; and the tech left wires pulled and the system less functional upon departure.
I have a new home that Parks install the heating and cooling system. With the recent cold weather I noticed there is no heat to the master bedroom unless I cut the temperature to 91°. I have reached out to Parks as part of the home warranty for the last eight days I have yet to have a tech come in and fix the problem. I feel that now that my system is installed with the builder I am looked at as an afterthought since I will not generate revenue for the company!
OVERPRICED and not transparent with their pricing. Before I scheduled, they wanted to charge a 99 dispatch fee. That was waived, but then could not get an overall estimate to do a simple toilet install. Said the technician would give me the quote. CHARGED $400 TO INSTALL A CUSTOMER PROVIDED TOILET.
Kurt G.Paid to have Park's come out which ended up being a sales call for a ""comfort specialist"" to come out to price out a total system replacement. wasn't interested and had the problem fixed for a third of the price I was quoted. Technicians must get a bonus for pushing for new systems. Bait and switch. Will not use again and will let neighborhood know.
A little over a year ago, I purchased a new heat pump and hot water heater from this company. As far as I knew, the system was working OK. This unit is in a rental home. Less than a year later, while I was changing the filter, I noticed water on the inside where the filter is located. I sent an online message to the company. I did not receive a response. I then called them and spoke with someone who said I would receive a return phone call. Also at that time, I decided to put this home on the market to sell. I made several attempts to have the unit serviced (even though it was brand new, I wanted to be sure all was OK). Still no return phone call. Several months passed. I had an interested buyer. I had indicated to the buyer that the HVAC and hot water heater is NEW. Upon a review of the building permits by the potential buyer, I was horrified to find out that the county inspector (FAILED) my inspection from the work performed by Parks Heating and Cooling. I called Parks Heating and Cooling and explained to them that it was imperative that I have this rectified. The person I spoke with assured me that it would be taken care of. Still now months more have passed. The potential buyer walked away. Parks never did come and try to figure out where the water is coming from.. and also I noticed that they broke off a piece of PVC pipe where my hot water heater is located. To this day (even nearly 1/2 year since my first phone call to them, they have not returned my calls, nor have they rectified my failed inspection. I will be filing a BBB complaint on this company. This is TERRIBLE service. They were so happy to keep calling me to spend 10K .. now they are nowhere to be found. Horrible experience!
Fraudulent company. Stay away. Our builder used them for our new home and we paid for upgrades to all bathrooms fans, thermostats etc and they did not install the ones we paid for but instead installed the most basic cheapest everything thinking we wouldn't notice. We have made them aware multiple times so they can correct it. My husband even drove down there to confront them in person. Every time they tell us they will be back to replace the cheap shit with the upgrades we paid for they never show up. The bathroom fans they did install were also not done correctly and they don't work. During the job they also damaged drywall and installed vents upside down. They send guys out who have zero training and have no idea what they're doing. Stay away!
Will continue using Parks as everything I was concerned about has been explained to my satisfaction. Thank you.
