Established by Jack and Faye Parker in 1974, Parker & Sons Air Conditioning right here in Phoenix, Arizona. Our initial service vehicle was a vintage family wagon that held just enough space for a couple of people, tools, and basic necessities.
At that time, we secured project approvals through a simple handshake. Trust wasn't merely a term; it was a promise. After over four decades, Parker & Sons has grown into a leading service company in Arizona employing over 100 skilled team members. Our services have expanded to include not just heating and cooling, but also plumbing, electrical work, drain cleaning, reverse osmosis, water softeners, and indoor air quality solutions.

Rick E.Called today to get my ac units serviced was dealing with a rude customer service agent and then told the soonest appointment for service is June 26th, needless to say I canceled my membership and won't be doing business with company ever again. I should be reimbursed for all the months I subscribed since I can't take advantage of the perks of the membership. Low and behold the employee didn't even cancel my membership and when I called back to reschedule and speak with the manager refused the transfer as they said they could fit me in any day , but once the guy heard me say I was canceling my membership poof no service appointment. Run away from this company. I will be reporting this company to consumer affairs and the better business bureau.
Do not retain Parker and Son's for their annual maintenance. I have been waiting for annual air conditioning service for 4 weeks and I received a text saying that they were not able to make the scheduled appointment. I called to reschedule and it is now a 6 week wait. I asked to have a manager call me and they have not responded for a week. What is the point of paying an annual maintenance fee if they will not service your AC system within a reasonable time of the request? Don't!
I called for emergency electric service on a Friday night as whole house lost power, was told they couldn't give me an ETA but that an electrician would come that night and would call on the way. I stayed home for hours and had ordered a meal while waiting. It was getting late and I didn't hear back, so I called again. It took a while to connect with a real person, only to be told that emergency electricians do not even service my area. I live in a busy part of Mesa, so that was a surprise in itself. When I tried to get more info based on my prior conversation with staff, she apologized saying she is just an after-hours rep, that she could not see the tech notes, and that her system just said that no service was offered where I live. How odd that the tech that I talked to earlier was not privy to that info and did not follow up on an emergency call, which made getting service even later on a Friday night all the more difficult and costly.
We had a new HVAC system installed along with 10"" of insulation. The technicians (all of them!) patiently answered all our questions, and made sure we knew how to work the new system before they left. There was some damage to the attic entry, so the job site manager scheduled the drywall department to come out. The damage was repaired to our satisfaction. The company also cleaned up after themselves. We feel we received good value for our money, especially with all the customer service involved.
Received a quote from parker and sons for ~$700 to swap out a pre-wired light fixture and move an outlet box maybe 6 inches to the left - ""Well find someone cheaper then!"" - I did, they were licensed and it ran me about a quarter of what I was quoted here. The electrician who came out was professional and friendly which I appreciated. Still though, not worth $700.
What I do not appreciate is the continued billing for this VIP plan they sell you on. I tried to cancel it March 25th, it is now end of April, and I'm still getting charged. Talked to Ellis in the office who claims this is getting resolved within 14 days. He would not give any written confirmation this is the case, so we'll see!
Once moving back to the valley, we re-instated our maintenance contract with Parker and Sons but within the past couple of years something has changed and are now becoming disillusioned. Additionally, we have requested a better understanding...to no avail. Our disappointment is that after pre/advanced scheduling and being assured to be assigned with a specific technician, the day of the appointment a technician OTHER THAN who was assured calls to inform us he is on his way. We don't understand why Parker and Sons would promise something and then arbitrarily change it WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE CUSTOMER. We have requested that our contract on file be ""tagged"" specifying our preference but have been told this is not something that can be done. It seems that Parker and Sons doesn't put their customers concerns/requests/preferences first. We'd still like to receive a better understanding as to ""why not"".
Kelly M.My A/C worked fine but started making a slight noise which had me worried. I had Parker & Sons come out and I was immediately told MOLD was found and a new unit was suggested at 14-20k. I was not ready to move forward with such a big expense without more research. Six months later the noise became louder so I had a different company out. They took one look and said you need the motor replaced and a good cleaning and you have an otherwise great unit that should last you several more years....so that's what they did. 2 hrs later it was working and sounding like new. The ""black mold"" that the Parker & Sons tech supposedly saw was just black dog hair from our Rottweiler. When you pay over 100 bucks for a service call, it would be nice for them to actually make an effort to find out what the problem is. He didn't even get close enough to the unit to see what he thought was mold was not....unless it was just a scare word? Anyway, the new company said to come to them in the future whenever we're ready for a new unit and they'd get us the exact same model we have (which we love) for 7k. Let's not forget Parker wanted 14-20k. Glad I listed to my gut!

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I have used Parker and Sons for pretty much every major repair in my home since I purchased it last January - totaling over 30k in work done.
Generally I had positive experiences with Parker and Sons in the past and appreciated their responsiveness and thorough contractors. However, I recently got my A/C Unit replaced from them earlier this year and the experience has been dreadful to say the least.
First off, the salesman Josh Salow who sold me the unit was completely useless the second I signed the contract. He basically got his money and vanished. Furthermore, in addition to my A/C replacement I also paid for the following items as part of my contract:
- A/C Repair
- Dampers to control airflow
- Insulation added to attic
- duct cleaning & duct work
All of this is part of the 14k+ that I paid for. Unfortunately for me they came and did the A/C installation and the insulation but neglected the dampers & duct work that I also paid for. The worst part is that they tried to collect payment in full when not all the work was done! I tried calling Josh Salow many times and left voicemails but was met with silence. They also damaged my ceiling during the insulation install as someone stepped on the ceiling while they were in the attic and there was a massive crack all along the length of my living room ceiling!! The worker tried to question whether it was there before and was pretty skittish when I asked how this was going to be fixed - once again Josh was 0 help...
I had to call corporate and schedule the damper install and duct work myself as well as the ceiling repair. If I had been less attentive I basically would have been paying a few extra thousand for work that I never received - and been out another couple thousand to fix my ceiling.
They finally finished the duct cleaning today and this was just a cherry on top to how bad this entire experience has been. The workers didn't put enough plastic tarps down and there is dust all over my house!! My office desk with important paperwork and my computer was completely covered in dust. When I woke up this morning my kitchen table was also completely coated in dust! They also left one of the few plastic tarps that was placed down in my spare bedroom (lol). I am just so disappointed in this company as it seems they have a very inconsistent staff of workers and the quality is just not what it should be for the price.
I will be cancelling my Parker family plan today and try to use other companies going forward as my trust with this company has been deeply damaged by this experience.
Cheryl W.We had our AC go out yet again. American Home Shield just kept authorizing companies to out a bandaid on it instead of replacing the unit which was about 25 years old. Called Parker and Sons, had our new AC up and running in 2 days. Shortly after we needed a faucet in our bathroom replaced during a renovation. They were out the same day, showed my husband some major issues that surprised the plumber and my husband that we had not had a flood. Everything was completed and up and running the same day. Everyone is very professional and excellent at explaining things. Highly recommend.
