Be on guard for up-selling. Overall, my experience with Parker & Sons was poor and I won't ever call them again. I broke the valve for the water line to the toilet and needed it replaced. The plumber did not want to just fix my broken valve. I mentioned that my kids say that the cold water in the shower sometimes drips but the plumber and I could not make it leak when inspected. The repair on the toilet valve was completed ($350 which was double what I was prepared to be charged). Once the water was turned on to the house, suddenly the HOT water of the shower was running in a stream and could not be turned off. How working on the toilet water line could cause a catastrophic leak in the shower (on the wrong valve) is a suspicious mystery. This led to not just repairing the leak but having to replace both shower valve cartridges. The plumber wanted to replace my expensive fixtures with new, which I refused. I asked to just replace the two cartridges. The updated estimate was only $10 less than buying whole new fixtures. For $650 he replaced the two cartridges with the wrong size because he bought a cheap shower fixture and used cartridges that came with it. I paid it (shame on me) but I wanted the plumber gone. Never again!

In April, I called and asked if I should have my ac unit inspected (house built in 2018) , since my house isn't very old. The customer service rep reminded me that we live in a desert and it would be prudent to do it sooner than later. Broc was our technician and he did an amazing job. He took pictures and video of the outside unit and the one in the attic, then sat down with us and went over every one of them, explaining to us what was going on. We had two solenoids that were going bad and their warranties were expiring in the next few months. He replaced these no charge. He also showed us the missing components our builder didn't bother installing. Crucial components that they are not obligated by law to install but prolong the life of the unit and increase output efficiency.
He was courteous , patient and professional in every way while explaining the good and not so good things he found. He even showed us things we could fix ourselves to save some money. He was in his van for about 30 minutes,came back in and presented us with three different proposals. He explained the pros and cons of each and emailed us the pics and videos. We have noticed a significant improvement in our air quality and the coolness of our home. If the rest of their workforce is half as good as Broc is, you need to call today and get your ac unit inspected.

P.S. if you had a home built by Lennar, I would suggest doing this much sooner than later.

I needed to add square footage to my home to accommodate my daughter & grandkids who could no longer afford to pay rent in a nice area. We needed to move quickly & decided the best option would be a garage conversion. We started talking to numerous independent contractors. It was quite a time consuming & daunting task. We were discouraged & confused by the bids and promises.

Decided we would just play sub-contractor & manage the project ourselves. The first thing we did was insulate the attic & we hired Parker & Sons to do the job. During a conversation with them, I found out about the new division at the company specifically for garage makeovers.

Long story short; we hired Parker & Sons & I'm extremely satisfied & amazed at how great my new living space came out. I can only praise all the workers who were all professional & friendly plus they did a beautiful job. Special thanks to Todd who came out everyday to check on the progress & was super easy to talk to & work with.

This is my favorite room in the house. You would never know this room used to be full of dirty junk and cars.

I plan on other upgrade projects in my home & I will be calling my friends & new family at Parker & Sons to do the work.

We had another company tell us while servicing our 12 year old unit that we needed to either get a new compressor or purchase a new Air Conditioning unit as the amperage on the system at startup was above the manufacturer specifications and the unit may go bad this summer.
We hired Parker and Sons to perform a diagnostics on the system and give us a 2nd opinion. Humberto R., told us that our system was within limits, but that the amperage on the system was above the
manufacturer specifications (similar to the what the tech from the other company said). However, rather than try to sell us on a new system, Humberto suggested that we put in a high voltage start component to take care of the issue.
Hopefully that takes care of the unit, but we appreciate the 2nd opinion and not being pushed into buying a new system.

Well another scam. I was paying every month for service. The first time parker and sons showed up on time and did a maintenance on my a/c. I was pleased and gave a 5 star review. I continued paying the monthly charges. 6 to 7 months later, I made another schedule maintenance and I received a confirmation. My appointment was for 2 pm. I took off work and waited. At 2:40 pm, I got a call from Daniel at Parker and Sons and said the technician can't make it. Well they got all of my monthly dues and now they won't honor their commitment. Well, they boast that they service even weekends, day and night, I guess that is all b.s. I lost all of my monthly payments, and I bet they won't refund all the money. Parker and sons are so unprofessional, typical acammers.

Called Parker and Sons to charge an old AC unit. The technician called and could not get into the property; He was at the wrong property. I gave the technician the correct address he climbs on the roof and tells me this is a 35-year-old unit and needs to be replaced. Yeh I know that -- He then gives me an estimate of $11,000 to install a 4 ton unit, I laughed. The technician then says.. well how much do you want to pay.. I said I'll get a quote. We replaced 5 units last year.. Folks as a rule of thumb use 1500.00 per ton for a new unit. I emailed Parker and Sons to ask if the unit was charged with freon. No response. I called two AC companies both quoted within 500.00 the same price for a new unit $5800.00 installed 10 year warranty parts and labor.

I used Parker & Sons to install a whole house ware softening system. I started with Costco who uses Parker & Sons. The sales associate that came out was personable, knowledgeable and spent the time to go through the options thoroughly but did not waste my time. Once decided on the system and cost (they were willing to deal) we went straight to scheduling which was withing a couple days.

The team that came to install were efficient and knew what they were doing. Once they came up with the plan, they explained it well, got my agreement and then got right to work. They told me about how long it would take and were pretty accurate. Once complete, it was as if they were never there. They cleaned up after themselves very well.

Overall, totally pleased with the work, cost and value.

My kitchen faucet was leaking. Called for estimate. They said the couldn't give one, that technician would on site. I had new faucet for house sink, decided to do my casita at the same time. Technician quoted 480.00 for EACH faucet to replace. After I kicked him out laughing, it took me 30 min per sink to replace.
PARKER AND SONS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. I'm all for making a profit but a 1000,00 per hour l.... Come on... if you use these guys be aware!!!!

Don't call these people for AC repair. I have a warranty issue with a Lennox unit that's not even 5 yrs old. They are a Lennox dealer, but priced the labor repair at 70% of a replacement system. Very unfair.
