I input a project in Yelp for a unit not cooling. Parker and Sons was the only company that called quickly said they could come out same day between 2-6pm. The request was at 12:30 so thats good I think. Joseph called and showed up when he said he would. He listened to my concerns and asked questions to understand my experience. He quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem and got my unit up and running in no time at all. The final invoice includes all detailed photos of major parts and the pressures of the system while in operation. Very nice! All this at a fair price.

a big storm left the cables running to our house dangling. We called Parker and sons to fix this electrical problem a little over two weeks ago. JC came and looked at it and told us they could have it fixed in a couple of days. So we payed the down payment that same day and two weeks later and we still have no power, they haven't even started on fixing it. I've been calling them every day asking what the issue is and they tell me something different every time! First they need a city permit. I call the next day and they say the permit is accepted and they need a permit from TEP now. I called TEP and they don't even do permits. So I call Parker and sons back and now they say the city permit actually isn't accepted. This company has never given me a direct answer and has left me without power in the middle of the summer for two weeks now. They say they'll call me back every time with answers but I've never received a call from them. I just want my power back man

Ryan showed up around 3:00 pm. started to replace outside faucet, couldn't just repair it. broke the waterline and said he would be back tomorrow before noon Saturday. no contact from Parker or anyone els, called Parker several times to get information. Ryan called around 6:00 pm Saturday with a sob story and passed the work to someone else. now Sunday morning with no water, still. Will not recommend Parker to ANYONE.

Had a brand new A/C unit installed by Parker & Sons on July 15th. On July 26th, the unit stopped cooling. I called and they set up an appointment for Sunday (July 28th) to look at the unit. Sunday came and I called to see when they were coming and they said they had no appointment on the books for me. I let them know it was 90 degrees in my home and they now say I'd have to make an appointment for later in the week. $14,000 spent on a new A/C unit and it worked for 11 days. Now they will not make it a priority to come fix the unit they installed. Not recommended to use them at all.

My husband and I had parker and sons put a air/heat unit in our manufactured home on September 11,2023. As soon as they turned the unit on, it was so loud, we asked them what can be done about the noise. There is no way we can listen to it for the next 10 years or whenever. They said they would have a supervisor call us. The sales rep who sold us the unit is Michael P. Campbell. He was suppose to send final contract to us as soon as the unit was installed. He never sent anything to us with a final price.
We tried numerous times to get a supervisor to come out and they kept sending out technicians. The techs were great but couldnt do anything about the noise.
So we are now 10 months later and I finally get a call from Michael Campbell.
Now he tells me my husband (who passed away in mid December 2023) said this and that. Michael Campbell lied about what my husband said , so I asked him to send me the contract he signed, that was different then the one I have. He never did. He gave us 2 years interest free. now he says its 1 year. He gave us a home depot card with $750.00 on it, that was going to be used toward the price of the unit. Well now he says no it can not be used for that. The card will expire in september. Home depot dont know anything about the card. I still dont have a total of what I owe them.
This unit is so loud it wakes my grandsons up in the night.
The boys 1- 4 year old ,twins at 5 years, and a 7 year old wont go use the restroom where the unit is, it scares them because of the noise.
It makes noises like a clothes dryer tumbling clothes dry.
It also makes moaning sounds after it runs a couple hours.
No supervisor has ever been to our house to check it out , and they have never signed off on this unit.
They said quiet performance - not
Takes about 8 hours to cool from 85 to 78.
During the day it wont go below 80 degrees.
I am at a lost here , I cannot get ANY HELP from Parker and Sons and I have 1 1/2 months to start paying and do not have a price or the interest rate or payment amounts.
The unit is still loud. I have to turn my T.V. volumn up and down when it comes on and turns off.
We had air conditioning for the last 20 years and there was no noise issues.
Now they say its the new freone, it louder then the old freone. WTH
HORRIBLE BUSINESS. ESPECIALLY FOR PUTTING WORDS IN MY DECEASED HUSBANDS MOUTH.

This review will be all about the technician named Peter. I need to preface this with a universal acknowledgment that HVAC companies are not the type to typically attract glowing reviews. Most folks are calling under irritable circumstances (understandably) resulting in short triggers and high expectations/demands.

We had our central a/c unit stop delivering cold air (fan worked). This has happened twice before over the years and (fortunately) it's always been the capacitor that failed. Our rooftop unit is pushing 12 years old but should still have good life remaining. Pete was sent by Parker & Sons and arrived on time. He was polite and conscientious of our modest home. He spent a good 1/2 hour examining things and reporting back to us (filter was good; coils appeared decent and not frozen (like another time); etc.). He found two problems. The (original) thermostat had glitched and that would likely recur. He also found that one of the two (didn't realize there were two!) capacitors had been replaced incorrectly - one with a different power rating of 45 mF where ours required a 35 mF unit (this errant replacement was done under the previous owner). Both capacitors were functioning but his recommendation was to replace the 45 mF capacitor as well as the thermostat. Each repair was between $300-400. A name-brand thermostat is between $50-$80 at any big box store and install can be done in less than 30 minutes by most folks following simple online videos. A capacitor runs about the same price and with labor the average out-the-door repair cost is $200 (see Forbes; Bob VIlla; etc.) but can be as much as $350. I've replaced a couple of capacitors in my lifetime but with the precarious rooftop location of ours and the voltages in play, we opted to have the pros tackle this capacitor replacement.

Pete was gracious about understanding that we would likely opt to DIY the thermostat replacement but we booked Parker/Pete to install the correct capacitor. Two weeks later (our request, not their delay), he was again on time and respectful, replacing the wrongly-installed capacitor. We liked the many before/after-photos (which most companies do now) because that enables us to be sure they are actually troubleshooting our unit and also enables us to compare the photos to past/technician's photos. Thanks to Yelp/Google/etc, transparency regarding repairs and honesty regarding pricing has become THE most important quality for any repair company nowadays and can sink/swim them overnight. Pete says he has been with Parker for 15 years. Here's to another 15 years bud!
