Our water spigot had froze over the winter and after first use this summer, we were getting water inside the house.

I called and spoke with the owner Tom last week on May 2nd. It was about 7 AM in the morning. He said he could come out but it wouldn't be until 11 o'clock or shortly after. He never showed up. We talked to the office towards the end of the day, they apologized and scheduled him for Friday afternoon. Again he doesn't show up. I call him about 5pm and he says he got caught up on a job and that Denise at the office should have called up. Well we never knew; honestly neither did Denise. Keep in mind, we've rearranged our work schedules, etc.

At this point I feel stupid for continuing, but he had done a good job on a sump last year. I was willing to be further patient. I scheduled a third appointment for Saturday morning at 7 AM. He shows up around 7:45 AM and I ask him does he want me to cut the water off; plumbing 101 stuff. He says no and that he'd grab his tools and be in the house shortly.

Tom goes right to the front of the house and turns on the water spigot and water is destroying my basement again. We had already run dehumidifiers for a few days and now we had to relive the moment again.

To make matters worse, he replaced the water spigot but he also replaced a separate valve on the other side of the house near the water meter that he claims need to be replaced. Never did he call me nor did he consult with me about any additional work or charges. My wife was here and right upstairs in the house the entire time. And the extra valve that he replaced did not need to be replaced. I had showed him before I left the house that the water was cut off from the main and also in the bathroom downstairs. Once again he didn't listen to me.

So ending up this bad whole experience Tom presents me with an invoice for $450. I showed him the invoice that Denise had just sent me for $350. He says this is not the right invoice and that he did not include this extra valve (which he agains replaced without consulting with us). I'm thinking to myself ""why would he have given his office manager a completed job/invoice that didn't have the correct price?

When I asked him why I should have to pay the additional money for a valve that didn't need to be replaced on the opposite side the house he because disrespectful. Yelling, pointing his finger saying ""we're done"" all in front of my family.

Even Denise his office manager knew he was wrong. The whole encounter was a debacle; The schedule no call no show appointments, the late arrival on Saturday, turning on the water spigot without turning off the water to the house, the additional charges and the blatant disrespect.

It is a very rare thing when people come into your life and make such a large impact. While I didn't hire them directly I promise you this company has an amazing person working for them.

This is the coldest season in the longest time. (The Starks always said ""winter is coming"") the frost line is so low. That being said... this was one of the most difficult frozen pipes that they have ever encountered.

Wayne (the gentleman who came out) was beyond nice and definitely went that extra mile. I saw a review on here that says they are a small company, and they would not recommend them. I cannot agree with that, I cannot say weather they are large or small because I didn't ask... but I can tell you they are large in skill and niceties that any family would want. I wish I could give a higher rating

I called Park Plumbing because I needed a base put in my shower. They were wonderful from the first call to the finished product. Tom did the work and he was professional and kind. The finished product was amazing and he is going to do work in my next bathroom. I was very impressed with his attention to detail. For example not only did he put booties over his shoes every time he walked back into the house, but he laid cardboard throughout the house so my floors stayed clean. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I look forward to having Park Plumbing do my next project. I highly recommend this company.
