I've been using Pardee to service mini-splits a/c units for about 4 Years. Great service starts the moment I call to schedule appointment. She wanted to come out that day since we were experiencing record heat but I told her it could wait till next day. Ray showed up as promised. Corrected the problem with the pump on my mini split quickly. Several different techs have come out over the years to do regular maintenance. All have been very professional.

I called to make a service appointment Friday morning. They said they would be there Monday from 6-8. I received a call Monday and the lady said they would not be there because I was only getting my unit serviced. I asked why did they make the appointment for me then Friday and she said she didn't make it. I inquired when they could come and she stated they don't come out after 4 for service calls because they only do units that aren't working. She flippantly advised me to call back when I knew my schedule. I said I know my schedule it's m-f and I'm home at 3. She said they couldn't honor my appointment then. What a waste of time. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Our toilet was emitting the foulest odor, like the black death. Kevin H #497 and Ryan were beyond professional. After educating us on general plumbing, procedures and possible costs, their expert assessment quickly discerned the issue and repaired it. Great experience and friendly service.

We had an account with Pardee. Our air, which is 5 yrs old was out on Thursday. The service was prompt on Friday. We were told that the coil was gone. They also told us that if they ordered the coil, it was on backorder & some were out 8 months. So, their suggestion was to put a new air/heating pump in. The cost was $200.+ a month for (are you ready?) FOR 10 YEARS. That is $24,000.00 Well, we're 75 yrs old & I guess they will bill the nursing home. Now, today, Monday, we had a company that our daughter recommended, First Choice in Charleston. Tim is the owner & they are going to replace the coil on Thurday for $2500. & that is with add ons.

I have never dealt with a more incompetent company in my life. They don't know what they're doing.I have asked 4 times in the last three weeks for a supervisor or manager to call me and no one has. The lady today said she is not allowed to give me the managers name? Never heard of something like that before. I have been a customer with them for years and never had a problem but in the last 6 weeks I have had nothing but problems. Not sure if they have new ownership or management but they are terrible. They have a 100% money back guarantee but yet I can't get my money back for a service they never performed. Don't use them.

They were supposed to blow insulation on a scheduled day. They never showed up in the morning like they were supposed to. Manager, sales, nor any of the workers called to let us know their machine had broken down. Spoke with the manager who said he was really sorry and they would give us a discount once they had their machine back up. Told us to wait for two weeks waited a month and tried contacting the manager numerous times. Their secretaries would constantly say the manager was not in and I called through out the month. Never heard back from them. It was like getting stood up on a date. Horrible company and the best part on the back of the contract they write about how much they care about customer service what a joke.

DON'T use Pardee!!! They are a NIGHTMARE!!! I was stuck with them for 10 years because of a warrantee situation. They lie and cheat and sell you stuff for LITERALLY 2x the going rate! Yep, one time I caught them trying to sell ANOTHER thing that sounded sketchy so I ended up talking to the regional manager for their supplier for the item. He quoted me the going pricing for the service and, not surprisingly at all, it turned out that Pardee was literally charging TWICE the high end of the recommended rate! They were constantly trying to sell me things I didn't need. One time in February they told me """"it was time"""" to replace two $200 lights in my system that are recommended to be replaced every 2 years. By then I knew how much they lied so I asked when they had actually been installed. Turns out they weren't due until the next July and September so they were telling me I needed them 5 months early for one and 7 months early for the other! Unbelievable but COMPLETELY typical. I literally caught them lying to me over 10 times! One time they told me I needed a $1800 replacement which ended up needing a $10 part and a 10 minute fix! I know it's incredibly hard to believe but I am not exaggerating at all! Use them at your own risk!

While other HVAC companies gave me the runaround, Pardee has been great. On two occasions, I received same day service after hours and my HVAC issues were repaired quickly and competently. I couldn't ask for a better heating and air company.

Last summer my AC wasn't working and they replaced something, and talked me into some service program for a year. I called them because Gene Pardee is a friend of my ex husband. Apparently he sold the company. So the first time they were here they told me I needed everything new, including a new water heater, and, with payments, it would cost $30,000!! The second time they came it was for a check up, and I was told about the same. They said my AC isn't working, but it works fine....they did something to my thermostat and AC won't go below 68, and it didn't do that before. Both times I had another HVAC person come out and they told me I didn't need all that at this time. . If they think that I'm some gullible woman, they are wrong! But, unfortunately, someone may be and they will be ripped off. I don't want them in my house again!!!

I had them come out to look at my water heater. They quoted me over 2,000 with interest over 4,000 total when all said and done. But that's not the worst part. I had another company come out for a second opinion and it was just my thermostat. They just wanted my money and I am beyond upset. They knew they could get one over on me because I have no clue about maintenance on homes.
