I hate to write a bad review because Brett did seem to be a good guy the first time we worked with him. In 2015 Brett installed a new outside unit for our central air conditioning. He did a fine job and we had no complaints. We had thought we found our plumber for any future issues.

Unfortunately, two years later the unit broke. A part on the unit broke and the refrigerant leaked out. This was not the fault of him but the manufacturer. I reached out to him but at first was not getting an answer, so I called another company who came out and explained what had happened. They recommended trying to get in touch with the company who installed it (Paramus Plumbing) as it should still be under warranty.

I was able to reach Brett this time and he said he would come that evening to check it out, and that they guaranteed their work. This was reassuring, until he didn't show up. The next day I reached out to him again and he apologized and said he would come that day. Again, he never showed up. The next couple days I continued to reach out to him without answer. On the fifth day, I left a message on the 800 number voicemail (I had been talking with him on his own phone previously.) He called and apologized and said that he had had a ""family emergency."" Oh well, it was just a week in July with no air conditioning waiting around in our hot house for him to show up. He then went on to say that he was so backed up with other jobs that he wouldn't be able to help us out (with the work he said he ""guaranteed."")

To really add insult to injury, in the conversation we brought up the idea of replacing the entire system in our house. To this he said, ""well, if you wanted to replace everything, then I could definitely do it!"" He didn't have time to look at something he had done and guaranteed, but was willing to drop everything to do a much bigger job.

We did end up replacing our entire system, and used Wickersheim Plumbing. They are more expensive, but they are extremely reliable and their guarantee actually means something.

AC went on the fritz out of nowhere.
Checked Yelp and saw how highly rated this business was.
Called the 800# at 8pm at night expecting to leave a message. Instead, Brett picked up and we scheduled an appt for the next day. He showed up as scheduled.
Brett replaced a few parts and refilled the coolant, and within an hour I was back in business.
Good honest work, fair price and a great experience. Highly recommend.

First time he came gave me an astronomical estimate. It was double what I got from 2 other plumbers. Reviews on Yelp were so positive I called again for another job. He never returned my 3 phone calls.

I used this plumber named Brett to replace my broken hot water valve under the sink to connect to a replacement dishwasher. I paid $185.00 After he and his partner left, it leaked. We called and told us to buy a plug. My husband went to Home Depot, Lowe's and other plumbing stores with no success. Brett sent his assistant the following day and purchased more plumbing supplies. I paid another $50.00. It leaked again. I called and emailed repeatedly for days with no response. In spite of their 90 days guarantee, they did not honor it. It is disgusting and deplorable. I would not recommend this plumbing company.

I needed a plumber to unclog our bathroom sink. Brett responded quickly with a price. I asked him about setting up a quarterly maintenance cleaning and he told me there really isn't a need for it and that it would be like taking money for no reason. I liked that he was honest and upfront with me. He was available to come the next day and work with our schedule. His work was very thorough and provided suggestions how to prevent future clogs. I would definitely recommend Brett from Paramus Plumbing.

Just like the ratings on this page, they are highly recommended to use for plumbing/hvac. They went above and beyond to finish the job and serviced other problems that they noticed. Prompt replies made it even easier to deal with. Will use again!

Brett is the best plumber you can find!! He is very caring and knowledgeable about all plumbing/hvac issues. Whenever I have an emergency such as my water heater bursting or a minor fix like adjusting the water temperature, he always makes it a point to get to you asap! He also will never rip you off like many of the plumbers out there. He is very fair priced and 100% trustworthy! I would recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable and trustworthy plumber. He truly cares!

Brett is such a great plumber/HVAC guy in addition to being friendly and personable. He conveniently came out to my home to change out my hot water heater and did a great job. People like this are very hard to come by. His price was competitive. Would use him again, in fact he is going to be my go to guy from now on.
