I've used Nick twice, the first time was to redo main sewer line to street. During process he busted water line to house.
I then had to call back when nobody came cut the vent pipe in the yard. The second time was to fix a leak out of the tub. They were there only an hour and maybe used $200 in pipe,elbows ect. Only took an hour but I could see they rushed the job because I had to once again call because the shower control was loose as a goose. When he gave me the $950 bill for an hour of work I almost hit the roof. The only thing that was paramount was the bill.

We are in awe of our newly renovated bathroom! Jacob and Leif did an amazing job. They were professional, efficient, and paid great attention to detail. They were great at keeping us up to date with each step of the process and cleaned up everyday before they left. Our kids even grew to love having them in the house . Had the cast iron drain pipes for my entire house replaced with modern plastic. Really excellent job done, it's a very old house with a lot of crazy plumbing in place. They really went all-out to get it as right as could be done. They found that along with the cast iron drains they had to replace all the connections to my sinks and toilet which did involve extra work. Very neat, they protected my home from damage and dirt.

I was very happy to have found this small family run company. Thanks to Nick and his crew for completing what is a very dirty smelly job!

We noticed our water heater was leaking at the bottom so we called around and these guys were out at 12:30 Pm and were done by 2:30pm. Very professional, neat, and protected our rugs and floors. The job was done quickly and we were lucky it didn't blow while we were away. Very reasonable price but I didn't get a ton of estimates. I would recommended these guys and use them again if need be.

We had a leak from a second floor bathroom that was dripping into our first floor dining room about a year ago, We assumed it was a busted pipe. Nick came out and appropriately diagnosed that it was grout which was failing in our shower walls. He gave us a number of options for the short term (one of which we took), and recommended a replacement of the tile in the long term -- which we have yet to pull the trigger on.

It's an old house. We had just moved in at the time, which of course which is when you find all sorts of fun new issues.

Several months after this, we found that the former owner had used silicon to reattach a completely sheered valve stem on a radiator and not disclosed it in the seller's agreement. How it ever stayed on as long as it did is remarkable. Also a fun surprise. Nick came out and swapped out the valve so we could bleed radiators without flooding the house or burning our hands with hot water.

All in all, great service. Reasonable pricing and very responsive.

Used them to replace a cartridge in my shower faucet. When I called i was told I'd be quoted a price for the entire job whether it took 30 mins or all day.(it only took about 30 mins)
The cartridge was replaced and the guy asked me if I wanted him to put the faucet back together(of course I did).
Well, a screw from the old cartridge was rusted and unusable and initially he said he didn't think he had one on his truck. It was a standard screw. I checked and I didn't have one. After that he suggested I go to True Value.....come on you don't have a screw on your truck?
He went out a checked and found one in an 'expansion kit'. I'm not sure what that was but he said that if used it, he'd have to charge me $18 to replace the expansion kit!
Are you kidding me?? $18 for a screw?
The price was already very expensive. $251 and he wanted to charge me an additional $18 for a screw. I told him to get out and I'd finish the job.
Would never use this company again.

Jay and his crew just totally demolished and redid my outdated, 1940's bathroom. They did an awesome job. They went above and beyond for sure. I am chronically ill and Jay made sure I was comfortable the whole time, knowing I was sick and only had one other bathroom in the basement. I have used Paramount for years for everyday plumbing problems and I am so happy I trusted them with recreating my bathroom. I couldn't be happier with their work. They are a great bunch of guys. I highly recommend them.

Last year my wife and I decided to finish our basement, it was just a concrete block with a washer and dryer. I have done a lot of the remolding work myself, but we decided that we wanted to add a bathroom to the basement since it will become our main living space. Knowing that I was not the best with plumbing & knowing that we wanted to re-route our washer & dryer into a different section of the basement, it was probably wise that we hire a plumber for this portion of the remolding.
Instead of drilling into the floor to create a drain pipe that runs across the whole basement and also runs up our cost, I decided to research other alternative solutions & what I discovered was the Saniflo Toilet system. The Saniflo toilet system allows you to install a toilet system without any drilling by having a pump system grind all the waste and have a high pressure pipe drain all the waste water to your main drain line.

After my research of the Saniflo toilets I was sold that this is what I wanted in my basement, but the one thing that I did not find was a plumber who listed that they install the Saniflo toilets or if they have any experience with these types of toilets; this made it very difficult for me to find a contractor to hire to create my bathroom. So I turned to Angies List for my research and I found a lot of good plumbers, but not one review about installing Saniflo toilets. So I brought in three plumbers in the Chester Country area and one of them was Paramount Plumbing.

We walked through my basement; they listened to exactly what I was trying to create, and wrote down all my notes. They added some suggestions as to where the best place for the piping to be and other topics. Then we discussed the Saniflo toilets and why I was leaning towards that type of toilet. They were very informed of the type of toilet system I wanted to install and let me know they have installed many of them; which put my mind at ease.

Paramount Pluming came in during the week while I was at work and they finished 90% of the project in one day; which included running piping for a toilet, sink, washer and wash tube as well as a vent pipe outside and all the piping that needs to be cut into the main drain pipe. They also helped me with other things that they didn't need to perform, for example they ran a new line for my dryer vent to go outside in a section that I didn't even think was possible, it looks great and it out of sight on the outside. Also, the building inspector wanted me to add a clean out section in the new pipe and Paramount Plumbing came out and added one for no additional charge even though the job was already done.

Paramount Plumbing was an amazing find for me considering my plans. They are very professional, experienced and considerate and will be my plumber for all future requests.
