The technician expected me to pay a dispatch fee of $80 after I was told by the receptionist that the quote was free of charge. It left a bad first impression of this company and I decided to take my business else where.

I called Paradise on July 22, 2023, and explained I had a bathtub faucet that doesn't shut off completely. I said I'm pretty sure it may need the stem replaced or the rubber gasket to the stem replaced. I was told no problem; we will have a tech come out take care of it for you. Come to find out when the tech showed up, I was informed my 3-handle unit was failing and they recommended, and I quote, """"Recommend replacing valve in wall with modern unit. Valve is located on exterior wall, no access to valve without removing shower unit. Replacing valve will necessitate replacing tub/shower as well"""". I kindly asked the tech if he could just replace the cold-water stem to fix the leak, at this time? I was told he could not work on after-market plumbing. Obviously, I said no thanks to a completely new shower/tub. I stood in awe, how this simple plumbing issue could have been resolved by simply replacing a .50 cent gasket or a $5 valve stem however, nothing was done, even though I had told the tech I'm expecting guest at my home the next day. I immediately contacted a local plumber (he inspected the same stem and determined that only the rubber gasket needed to be replaced), complete job was done by the plumber, within 10 minutes. It's apparent, Paradise doesn't have the homeowner's interest but, is only concerned on getting the most money out of the homeowner by trying to do unnecessary repairs. I've dealt with multiple plumbing services over my years and have never experienced anything as crazy as this. This is the first time I felt the need to share and post a review, so you don't have to waste your time and money. I can attest that everything I stated is accurate and true!

Can't say enough good things about Lance, the technician that fixed our AC. He was extremely kind, professional, and got our unit working within 30 minutes. We had a toilet fixed with them as well and had great service. Good prices, great work and awesome people. 10/10 recommend.

Reliable which in this area is an absolute Godsend! They show up when they say they will or if running late due to another project taking longer you'll be informed. That's more than 1/2 the battle w/ any contractor work. Diagnose correct every time. Why not 5 stars? They're expensive, very expensive. But in a town full of unreliable and incompetent contractors they can afford to be. They have been and always will be my 1st call for any plumbing issue. Competent and knowledgeable is how I'd describe my two experiences with them so far (and of course the almighty reliable). It'll hurt your wallet but these guys and gals get it done right w/ the least amount of hassle to the homeowner. Highly recommend! Penned by Tamara L.

I highly do not recommend this company. I was deployed overseas, and my wife encountered a problem with the water line. She contacted Paradise Home Services to come to our home to check it out. They quoted her a 69.00 fee just to come out. Most companies if you get them to do the work that fee is normally taken off. Not with this one. The guy told her there was a leak in one of the pipes on the side of our home. I was deployed, therefore she could not contact me at that moment to talk it over with me. The guy quoted her over 500.00 to replace a tiny piece of pipe with 2 couplings. The parts were maybe 10.00, if that much. So, where does the over 500.00 bill come from. Another thing they do also is the bill is not itemized, that's another trick that they use too. This company took advantage of a female, that did not have a clue. I am beside myself with anger over this situation. If I would have been stateside, this would not have ever happened. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

As others have noted, the professionalism of this organization is top notch. I called for a suspected failed toilet on a 30 year old house I had recently bought on a Friday. I had recently relocated to the area from a 90 year old historic property out of state, so from my prior experience I expected a full rip and replace (toilet, wax ring and flange cutout and replacement) was needed. The lady who took my call apologized that they couldn't get out until Saturday. Inspection confirmed my expectations and estimate was done while onsite. Materials were sourced on Monday (while I had my wife out for her periodic chemotherapy infusion) and work was completed on Tuesday. The installation technician did top notch work and left the jobsite cleaner than he found it. My only reason for only four stars is cost. I was able to identify and source the materials used for the job. Markup on materials was about 50% and the labor rate was somewhere between $175-200 per hour. Net-Net: If you need it done first time right by professionals, this is your team. But expect to pay top $$$ for the service levels they provide.

My first encounter with Paradise Home Services was to have them replace my leaking water heater. They did it promptly, on a reasonable quote and cleaned up after they worked. A beautiful job. Since they did such a good job on the water heater, I got a quote from them on my heat pump. They were extremely competitive and informative about my selections and choices. Two outstanding and upstanding men, Steven and Matt F, did a great installation job ,promptly and on budget. Their office staff was always courteous and the phone answered promptly each time I called. I heartily recommend them for any of your HVAC and plumbing needs.

I was so pleased with Paradise! They went above and beyond to take care of my home. I had a leak from an upstairs shower, and Thomas came the day I called and even had the parts needed for the repair! He was professional and got the job done. This business came highly recommended by multiple friends. We had a pipe with a pinhole leak in our master bedroom wall, which consequently flooded a good portion of our bedroom. I called them, and they squeezed us in the very next day. The plumber, Michael, was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He explained everything that he did and why, and had the pipe cut and replaced in an hour. The replaced piping also came with a 1 year warranty. Being a mostly DIY guy, I really appreciated the fact that Michael patiently walked me through what he did, and answered all my questions. Furthermore, I was able to rent an industrial dehumidifier from them at a reasonable price. They also sent out a remediation tech, who checked on the drywall and flooring. In the busy age we live in, between work, kids and social lives, it's a good peace of mind knowing that a business does everything in its power to take care of the customer. Highly recommend them!

I noticed the paint sagging on the dry wall around my shower and suspected I had a leak. I knew exactly who to call. The great professionals at Paradise Home Services had helped me 9 months ago on a different plumbing issue. Within 20 minutes of my call, Thomas was diagnosing and fixing the source of the leak. 30 minutes later, Justus was on the scene and providing options to remove the moisture and repair the drywall! Throughout the process, the paradise professionals were very communicative and transparent while always showing up at the exact time we coordinated. Do yourself a favor and sign up for their membership, I did 9 months ago and glad I did!
