Papa's plumbing is great. Very reliable and honest. I had a drain that was clogged, local companies came and tried to sell a whole new piping. Papa's guys came and unclogged it in less than half an hour. Will use them again

The people from Papa's Plumbing arrived within the time frame they gave me. The two men were friendly and professional. I had done about 50% of the work to put in the vanity. Yet I was told the price to do the entire job. The Daniel the plumber told me that was their policy. That the price quoted to be was the price. I said okay! The price was $345 to install a bathroom sink. I supplied the vanity, sink, faucet, and silicon to seal the sink to the vanity. the job took about an hour and a half. They were unable to attach the sink stopper.
In addition, since they were here, I asked if they could install a kitchen faucet. After getting permission from the office, they were able to do this job in an hour plus for $299. They were not able to finish the job because they did not have the proper reducer. I was told I could get it at the hardware store and to take one they had taken off as an example. When I got to the hardware store, I was told that I had the proper reducer. The hardware salesmen cleaned the reducer and it worked fine.So, I finished the installation.
I feel this might of been too minor of a job for these two professional plumbers. When they looked for the reducer in their truck, I felt most of the equipment was for big sewer jobs. Daniel and his worker were great and I don't doubt their professionalism.
So, in summary I am very happy with the outcome, with my assistance. That is two partial jobs completed in three hours for $215 dollars per hour.
Oh, when I asked for the Senior discount (I am 70 years old), I was told it was already included. ""Thank you?"" Next time I'll hire a handyman!

I've finally found a great local plumber. Serge and his team replace my old water heater. They were quick and efficient. Their prices are reasonable, too.

Papa's saved us! We had a sewer line in nasty shape due to some tree roots. Scheduling with them was so easy, and they walked us through the entire process and what was involved. They even helped educate us about the piping we may want for our future dream projects.
They replaced our sewer line in one day, and even replaced our toilet phalange flange. When they reburied the line, they did it with so much care, you can barely tell they dug an 8 foot hole!

I will definitely be using Papa's in the future.

I met with three plumbing companies and got quotes for a gas hot water heater 40 gal replacement and hydro-jetting the sewer line. I decided on Pappa's Plumbing.

It was all done for $1999. It was the best deal. The other two came in at $300-$500 over this price. One of the other ones was a homedepot installer whose labor prices were more than the cost of the hot water heater, and the other was allcity.

They were nice and helpful and arrived on time. Will use them again.

Woke up and found out that our water heater was leaking. I called these guys and they were able to schedule us in the following day.

They went a bit above and beyond and investigated why it leaked in the first place. After a bit of looking, they identified the water regulator was the cause and offered to repair that was well so it wouldn't break the new water heater.

They were able to fix both on the same day within just a few hours, so we didn't have to go without hot water for any longer.

Excellent service and I'll definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.

End to end experience was great. Scheduling responsive, friendly. Confirmed appointment day before and day of service. I had 3 mysteries: slow drain, clogged/spraying faucet and ""singing"" faucet. Daniel and Jose arrived on time, diagnosed each item within minutes and resolved with simple, cost effective fixes. They were polite, friendly and explained everything they were doing and why. They were also mindful of surfaces and furnishings in the home as they worked, so I had no clean-up after their work. No ""up-selling"". I will work with Papa's again. Very responsive to both written/emails and phone communication. Very fast scheduling. Two repair people quickly fixed the problem for which we called, and then discovered another issue that they fixed during the same visit. The plumbers were very polite, explained everything they were doing, and had a great, friendly attitude. Very reasonable prices for such fast and good service. I'm very happy I found Papa's in La Canada and will definitely patronize them again with future plumbing problems.

Danny and Jose came through in a pinch and totally fixed my garbage disposal. Works like it's brand new, I had even had another plumber from a different company come and tell me there was nothing to be done, but Danny and Jose fixed it, and found a pipe that had been leaking. Will definitely be using these guys again in the future!
