We've been using Palisades Plumbing for years. They answer the phone promptly and work hard to get someone out as soon as possible. They send email and text notifications to confirm appointments and let you know when a technician is on the way. Most recently Miguel Guzman replaced an old garbage disposal, put a new cartridge in a leaky kitchen faucet, and diagnosed and restarted our finicky hot water heater. We've had construction going on outside the house that can trigger earthquake sensors connected to an automatic shutoff for the gas line, which then disables our gas appliances. Miguel fixed the problem for us and also took the time, even though it was a busy day for him, to show us what to do in the future and to talk to the construction crew about what they should do if the gas shutoff gets triggered. We've found Palisades Plumbing to be friendly, courteous, and reliable, and I'm sure we'll call them again for future plumbing issues.

I had a stopped up sink. They told me nobody would be available until the next day, but within thirty minutes they called back to say they could send somebody right over and within minutes he arrived and did the repair.

The faucet set in our powder room sink needed replacement.
I bought a new one and called Palisades Plumbing.
Joe Green came to my house and said that the set I bought could not be installed. I got charged $125.00 for a service call with assurances that I would get a credit for the $125 when I bought an appropriate unit.

I found one and got Joe Green to came back and installed it.
I got charged another $187.50.

NO, the $125 did NOT get credited.

That's $312.50 to install a bathroom sink faucet.
(45 minute job it the plumber know what he or she is doing).

Repeated calls to get this straightened out have been ignored.

Do not hire these guys!

We heard what sounded like water running through the pipes, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. When we checked our meter and saw that it was running (w/ no faucets or appliances on), we were pretty certain that we had a leak somewhere. I called a handful of plumbers and despite the emergent nature of the situation, I was told 1 - 2 weeks before they could provide service. When I called PP, I spoke to a very busy, but very polite receptionist/dispatcher. Because they were extremely busy, she relayed my issue to her boss and got back to me with different things to 'check' around the house... sort of triaging the situation... which I appreciated. When we determined that it sounded like a leak, she managed to get someone to our house the same day! And thank goodness. An old pipe had cracked and was leaking water under the house. Mario came on time, was extremely polite and knowledgeable and went straight to work. Luckily the pipe lead to an old office that doesn't have plumbing anymore, so Mario was able to clamp it off to stop the leak. It took two hours and the bill was a little over $500. My husband thought it was a little pricey, but Mario had to dig a 5' hole in our yard, fix the pipe and fill in the hole... I'd say it was worth it!

The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the receptionist kept telling me she'd call me back in 5 min. (told me 3 times), and never did. I called her, though, b/c I knew she was having a very hectic day and we've all been there.

I would recommend Palisades Plumbing.
