Highly recommend this company!
Marina K.Palisades Plumbing was so responsive to my needs. Miguel Guzman was great at explaining and performing the job.
Palisades Plumbing came out to fix my father's shower which was leaking inside the wall. Miguel Guzman did a fantastic job. He texted when he was on his way. He came on time. He was able to immediately assess what the issue was, even though I had misdiagnosed the problem! His solution fixed the leak much more simply and less costly than I expected. Miguel was above and beyond.
Great job on the repair of the leaky bathroom faucet handle today by Hector at Palisades Plumbing. Highly recommend!
Katia S.Well, now I am good to write a review to Palisades plumbing, after I got a second opinion and actual repair from another plumbing service.
I just got a new home in Pacific Palisades, and after a week living in it my Mater's toilet stopped flushing properly. I had my warranty but - stupid me - was urged to fix an issue sooner. So I called up Palisades plumbing.
They were quick and charged $180 for a visit. Plumber did NOTHING . He said that toilet needs to be changed completely because there was calcium buildup inside and it can not be fixed otherwise but exchanging it altogether. When I noted that it's 5 y old house and out of 5 toilets only one has a problem, which is strange if problem is hard water, he just waived me off.
Well, I got my issue fixed thru my warranty by One touch plumbing in most efficient way a week after.
Pleasant to deal with. Reliable, effective and reasonable. We have used them for years.
One of this agency's plumbers told me that I need to have my tankless water heater cleaned. I know nothing about plumbing so I said, ""Okay."" Less than 2 hours after the job was completed I attempted to get a glass of water from my sink, opened the COLD spigot, and HOT WATER CAME OUT. The same with every faucet in the house. I called the plumber who did the work and he said, ""Oh...your water pump must be broken; we need to replace it."" I asked, ""How is this possible? Everything was working perfectly, you told me to clean my water heater, now there is no cold water in my home--IT HAPPENED IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU FINISHED ""CLEANING."" I told the owner of Palisades Plumbing what happened and he said, ""Oh... your check valves are broken."" I said, ""Well, your plumber must have broken them... nothing was wrong until immediately after he cleaned it!"" The owner said, ""No, that's wrong; it's just a coincidence that the check valves broke immediately after the cleaning."" When he told me what I would have to pay to redress the damage done by his plumber---$1,800--I got sick to my stomach.
No assumption of responsibility for""selling"" me a service that no sane person could deny led to a problem. Then--WITH NEITHER INDIVIDUAL DOING AN ASSESSMENT OF MY PROBLEM--the plumber whose work ended one minute before my problem started said I need a new water pump. The owner--never seeing my home plumbing--said it was a check valve. Then he said, ""$1,800"" with zero awareness of the components of the problem or how it might have come about.
Do you think that sitting in a chair, hearing that after having my water heater cleaned I was UNABLE TO GET COLD WATER IN MY HOME, someone saying ""$1,800"" to fix the problem was giving an ""informed"" opinion or might the cost quote have been based on something else..?
I am not a mind reader, but when a man who was connected to a problem says ""buy a new water pump"" and a man who would have to consult a map to see the problem says ""check valve,"" doesn't it seem that one or the other man is arriving at a solution without due diligence? If you went to a dentist, said ""the left side of my mouth hurts"" and he said, ""Well, gotta pull those molars"" without taking X-rays or inspecting your mouth, how much confidence would you have in her? Would you let her shoot you with novacaine, grab her pliers, and start pulling????
I hope you get my point!
