I have known the owners of this company for over 40 years and consider them to be honest and fair and wise and considerate. We bought our house 5 years ago and the water was terrible. Barry came and installed a water purification system under our sink. It is small and compact, hardly takes up any room at all. The water is so delicious! We have Alhambra at work and I don't even like refilling my water bottle there because I can taste the difference. The best thing about Barry is he calls to schedule a yearly appointment for maintenance and to change the filter. It's one less thing for me to remember. If you want your water to taste like WATER should, I highly recommend Pacific West water installed in your home. The service is reliable and consistent. Thanks Barry, you're the BEST!!!

The house we bought had a leased system from Culligan. I wanted to own the system and so started the long process of educating myself and talking to vendors. I think I met everyone that could possibly do a system for me because it was so confusing trying to condense down their sales spins and get some facts. In the end, there were a couple of other guys I might have been happy with, but Barry came and was so low-pressure and straight forward, and he had really good pricing, that I knew he was the guy. I like that he is small (he doesn't advertise) and local and really seems to focus on the customer service aspect.

We just have very bad expariance with this company, spand almost $500,00. just to change the new filter and tank and anything else barry feel the need to replace it on a very small Carmel cottage. trun out later the tank he put in was not able to fill the water, there for the whole system is not able to work. call and ask for help, he did come back and try to fix it, as soon as he change to different tank after everything fail, with out problem we able to get the water from the system because it has presure and full. okay you would think that will be the end of our bad luck .until we got the bill from him again for service charge second time. , we feel was not our foulthe have to come back to replace tank # 1 which did not work in the first place, he just insist to get some money to recove his time and gas , I just refuse to pay again for something was not our foult. all I can hear from him just nothing wrong was the first tank it just didn't work in our home but okay in some body's else. and if I don't pay any amount to cover his time and gas , he will not come next year to change my filter. how many star would you give him? that's all I have to say about it! very dispoint it happen to us!

When the reverse osmosis system sold to us by the big C started to leak and we were getting nowhere with that monopoly holder in Salinas, we called Pacific West.

Barry showed up the day we called and replaced the crappy system installed poorly by ""the Man you call"" with a high quality and compact little package of his own design. It's more efficient, makes sweet tasting water and he promised to show up for services and remind us when they're needed (unlike the other company that blew us off for numerous appointments.)

We plan to have him replace the water softener those other guys sold us too.
The old one failed and caused us to have to call a plumber when the water suddenly didn't work in our house anymore. We're looking forward to Barry's chlorine removal unit too since the tap water in Monterey is like drinking from a swimming pool.
