They are on top of it when it comes to boiler repairs! Tim always gets the job done right and I can trust his word. Recently we had an emergency and he came out same day and confirmed it was a part that was under warranty so we didn't even get a bill. Excellent knowledge of the biz and good customer service.

They were great when Bob owned it but it's gone to hell in the proverbial handbasket. Left two messages with a live person and they never returned calls. Good luck staying in business.

Bob was great. Then he retired and sold the company phone number to Bay City-something-or-other who doesn't even answer their own phones...they use a remote answering service. So you leave a message with someone that doesn't know their schedule or anything about the business, and then you don't get a call back...for days? a week? still nothing. I had an emergency. They aren't reliable anymore.

Unfortunately we used this company for our furnace maintenance for more than thirty straight years . We obviously trusted them . In 2021 before turning on the heater for winter we called them . They never returned our call . In 2022 we called again and they returned our call a couple of weeks later. By that time we gave up on Pacific Heating and called Aarvaks in Berkeley . They responded promptly and we made an appointment . The service rep was punctual and went to work on our furnace in our crawl space . He was down there for what seemed like a long time . When he came out my husband asked how everything looked ? The rep said the burners appeared okay but said he had to spend a lot of time CLEANING EVERYTHING ELSE . Said too he had to clean out a lot of pet hair ! What we said what ? ! We haven't had cats for ten years ! So what was Pacific Heating and Piping doing doing down there all these years ??? Don't waste your time and money with Pacific . Aarvaks even provided photographs of their work . And, they charged about $50.00 less than Pacific . If this is the service their longtime clients get , imagine how poor the service will be for a new client !

Bob and his family have serviced and replaced the radiator heat system in our home since long before we moved here 28 years ago. They are always knowledgable, friendly, explain things clearly, finish the job completely and are reasonably priced. If there is the slightest negative it is that it might take several for them to return calls if it is not an emergency but they are busy.

Bob's memory about our system amazes me and his sons confirm that he is always that way.

By the way, there is another short rave review but the reviewer forget to apply stars.

We have a home built in 1936 with the original GE hot water heating system. This contractor has fixed the system twice in the last dozen years. He completely understands it, his fees are very reasonable, and his work is reliable. He is the first person I would call for any HVAC problem.
