Nice guy. Bad plumber. Seems to know what he is doing but subs the work out to his son, who doesn't know what he's doing. He had his son install six sinks, six leaked and needed repairs. I had him install new plumbing in an addition and sewage backed up twice and flooded the bathrooms. Still having problems and he doesn't answer the calls. I just had the lines inspected with a camera and was told there is not enough ""fall"" or slope to operate effectively. I had him install new plumbing for a sink and he used pecks (a quick connect pipe system instead of hard pipes, and guess what...it leaks. Caused dry wall damage and black mold. When he told me to hire someone to repair the walls (after he fixed his son's connection mistake) and send him the bill. Guess what...he disappeared and won't pay the bill. He keeps crappy records on his invoicing and when he can't explain charges then says ""trust me even if I can't explain the invoicing. I'm an honest guy"". As if we are not and he is the only honest guy on the planet. His work is BS and so is his word. Actions speak for themselves. Words are easy (i mean mistruths). Try A&R Plumbing or anybody else unless you like conflict, dilemmas, and wet floors.

My family was referred to Ronnie by their Electrician who is a personal friend of his. We have called him 4 different times over several months in an attempt to hire him and he has not returned our calls.

Ronnie portrays to be a man of honesty and integrity but I had a totally different experience with him. The owners had hired him to do the plumbing on a project I was building and the guy couldn't seem to read a blueprint. He had pipes running thru access openings and waste lines without enough fall that have backed up continually. He had ran water lines in shower door openings and had numerous leaks. He has corrected his mistakes and fixed the leaks but has charged the owner for all of them. His last leak caused a great amount of damage in the new bathroom which went undetected for quite sometime. By the time the owners noticed it there was mold throughout the walls in the bathroom. It had to be removed so he told the owners to get it repaired and he would pay for it. They hired a guy to do the drywall which he paid. They hired me to come in and replace the base boards and do the painting and he has not paid me. He won't answer my calls or the owners calls or emails. It's as tho he feels he is not responsible for all the damage he caused. His carelessness caused this problem and he won't even stand by his work. Every contractor has problems. But it's how you resolve them is how we are measured.

One morning I noticed that there was a terrible leak in the front spigot of my house. It was much worse than I originally thought as it had apparently been leaking for some time but had been where I couldn't see it. We called Ronnie and within a matter of a couple of hours he had come and fixed the issue and I was extremely happy. Both he and his helper were very courteous and left my property as clean as when they arrived. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again!!

(I never give reviews, just read 'em -- but this one I had to write....)

Christmas Eve am, and noted that the sewage line was backing up (toilets not flushing and bathtub not draining). Would have traded that for coals in my stockings.

Called 6-7 plumbers and no one called back (expected). The ones who did answer wanted two hours of pay for just showing up and charge additional for labor.

Ronnie thankfully called back. Could tell he wasn't really in the mood to do it (given Christmas and all), but he said he lived close by and would take a look. He sounded honest, and when I asked him his price, and he told me he wouldn't charge if he doesn't fix it. I was flabbergasted. He could have fleeced me if he wanted to (heck a few plumbers I talked to tried!) But he didn't. He told me his pricing _if he fixed it_.

He showed up and snaked all 3 cleanout spouts. He checked to make sure everything was working before he left - which it was.

It was a simple job, but he did it with a smile, honesty and professionally. These days, that combo is in scarcity, and so I feel compelled to spread his gospel. Ronnie Jones good people.

Ronnie at Pacific Coast Plumbing is wonderful. He returns calls. He keeps you informed about when he will do the job and when he has finished the job. He's knows what he's doing. And his rates are reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Ronnie is a talented and extremely honest plumber. He knows how to troubleshoot problems without breaking your bank. I wish there were more like him. He also does free estimates.
