I had a horrible experience! They were extremely rude and unprofessional. I got a couple of hangups. They told me that they don't deal with the public. They didn't want to listen to my questions about equipment much less answer them.

I finally got one person to listen long enough to hear the question. And, like one of the other reviewers stated, they gave me a phone number to call to find out information.

CHAD ARCHER the Branch Manager is a superhero and has earned my business forever.

I was in a serious bind. Imagine this. NO WATER HEATER= no hot showers, no dish washer, no washing machine... no bueno. 27 month old daughter and a wife beginning her third trimester. Contractors don't have the part and want to charge an arm and leg. You know the fix is pretty straight forward... you just need the part.

In most situations, specialty companies like PACE only sell directly to contractors and not to the general public. I explained my situation to Chad and not only did he make an exception but he helped set aside the part for me so I didn't have to wait. Chad and his staff also gave me VIP treatment once I arrived.

My brother was able to use the part to solve the problem in 20 minutes and saved us a bundle of moola. (Yelp review coming for him soon too.)

Chad truly saved the day. There are still great people in this world... and Chad and Pace Supply are an amazing example of that.

I had a bad experience with pace supply in Santa Clara.
I was looking for a couple parts and I was taken in to one of the sale people. all he did was give me a number and his phone so I do his work while he had his legs on the desk and played on his phone.
I was really upset about that.
I'm more mad that I didn't get his name. I had to find the part and I did not wanted to spend more time in the warehouse.
Otherwise the pace supply in San Jose by the Costco
Is totally different. They are all helpful and polite.

I am as looking for main and diverter valves for a Moen shower set with shower head. None of the Pace locations in the Bay Area had it in but the South Sac location so I drove out there. Needed to get it so plumbing could be roughed in the next day. The guys at the warehouse were very friendly and knowledgeable. Got the parts along with some advice which really helped. Large warehouse with lots of parts.

I have been waiting for 8 days for a receipt to be emailed to me....
zzzzzzzzzzz...sorry I am just tired of waiting and calling and calling again and waiting......

There really isn't much to say but if you need something they got it. I went to get all my specialty gas line stud and they have every imaginable fitting. They are busy people so don't expect too much attention. I don't fault them for that. We don't want to be waiting in line for the guy with a thousand questions.

Among all the places to buy wholesale plumbing products, Pace stands out among the best. I go here especially for Wirsbo/Uphonor products. Almost anything imaginable for the plumbing trade is stocked here.

Not very friendly on the phone. The receptionist was rude and transferred me in the middle of talking and the guy who finally picked up wasn't the nicest either. Couldn't imagine having to deal with this company in person.

And to clarify I am a home owner and was given their # by my water heater company to get a new part under warranty.

I would rather do business with a company that cares about the end user and not just the middle man making money.

My review is as a homeowner, not a contractor. My water heater broke and I needed a piece ASAP. I called Pace, frantic, and spoke to the manager Brad. Brad was very assuring and nice. I told him that the only plumber available on such short notice didn't have enough time to pick up the part AND fix my water heater, so Brad let me get it myself. Let me repeat: he let me get it myself. He emailed me the form that the contractor normally would fill out so I could call my plumber and get the info before heading out to Pace. They don't have a storefront and are not set up to deal with crazy customers, but he let me go into the office, past the cubicles, and pick up a part.

Super accommodating.
