He is NOT licensed or bonded. Just thought that was worth sharing. He was not forthcoming about that and didn't disclose it until directly asked. He then tried telling me that most licenses and bonds shown to customers are fake... not true, you can verify any license number with the city's website and any COI directly with the insurer.

Buyer beware.

DISHONEST AS CAN BE!

Was having a problem with my sewer line.
I requested quotes on Yelp.
Pasquale from P&A contacted me and said he could come take a look.
He came and he said that the trap was about 100 years old and needed to be replaced.
He said it would cost $2,800. I asked why it was that much.
He said that it required 2 guys for 2 days.
I asked if he could do any better on the price and he did take $200 off.
He came back a few days later to do the job.
He was here, by himself, for 3.5 hrs.
He said it was done except for the cement which he would do the next day.
He came back the next day and was done in 20 mins.
I asked him about a couple of other things.
He did unclog a shower drain for me.
My new dehumidified arrived while he was here.
It only had a 1 gallon bucket for the condensation.
I asked if there was a way to run a hose from the unit into the sewer
so that I didn't have to empty the bucket 5x a day.
He said he'd come back on Friday and run a PVC pipe into the sewer.
I didn't want there to be any confusion.
So, I asked, ""you're doing that as a favor, right?"".
He asked me to repeat. I did. He said ""yes"" and we shook hands.
On Friday, I messaged to confirm he was coming.
He said he had a family issue to deal with and he could come next week.
The following Tuesday, I messaged and he said we could arrange a time.
And he said the job would be $375.
I reminded him he said he would do as a favor.
He said that he couldn't because his boss at the company he worked for wouldn't
approve. That didn't sound right and I told him so.
Then he said that he could do it on his own time if I paid for materials and gas.
I asked how much that would be. He said $300.
Even with all the current inflation, gas and a few feet of PVC pipe not going to be more than $50.

He then went into a diatribe about not wanting to get in trouble with the company.
He went on and on.
And it's all B*LLSH*T.

His name is Pasquale and his lady friend is Anna.
They are the P and the A of ""P&A Sewer"".

So, that means he lies about everything.
I told him what I thought of how he conducts himself.

He said ""you think I am a bad person because I won't give you something for free?"".
I said ""no, you're a bad person because you are dishonest and a big liar"".

When he told me that the sewer job would be 2 men for 1.5 - 2 days, I felt that the price was not unreasonable and didn't shop around.
The job turned out to be 1 guy for 4 hours!
There is no way that he didn't know that.
When he came, I asked where his partner was.
He said ""just me"". So, he lied from the beginning.
I paid $2,600 for an $800 job.

Yes, shame on me for taking his word and for not shopping around.

But that doesn't excuse him for being a lying sc*mbag!
And then all the BS about his boss at the company when he is the owner.....

I had another great experience with P & A Sewer and Drain! I was looking to have my bathtub shower replaced with a standing shower. I shopped around for several quotes on the project and was getting prices between 10K and 25K. This far exceeded my budget so I was going to abandon the project. But then Pasquale from P & A Sewer and Drain reached out to me and offered to visit my home for a free evaluation and quote.

Not only did he agree to replace the shower for a very affordable price but he also added tiles to the bathroom floor, painted the bathroom, and replaced the sink and vanity. I initially just wanted a new shower but ended up with a whole new bathroom and for a fair price.

The work was completed quickly and efficiently. All the trash was removed, leaving me nothing to clean up. I can't recommend P & A highly enough.

As far as speaking to P & A over the phone or in person, they were nice I will admit. But, there work ethics need to be HIGHLY ADJUSTED.
Have contacted them several times for the grout and un-even bathroom floor, over a month ago. They have still to come or even contact us to rectify the problem.

I recently reached out to P & A Sewer and Drain to update my kitchen faucet fixture. Pasquale was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and transparent with providing a reasonable quote for the service being rendered. He arrived in a timely manner and took his time carefully addressing the removal of a stubborn old faucet (some rust had formed over time) and securely replacing it with my new fixture. I could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend P & A!
