Evan is reliable, explains what he is doing, and does solid work. He has done a couple of jobs for us and we have been very satisfied. He learned how to install the Phyn Plus smart water device. It is working great. The only draw back is the 2 hr minimum charge so if you have a small job, you should combine with other plumbing work.

My basement was flooded with at least 12 inches of water because my sump pump had failed. My neighbor called her plumber and he was there within an hour. That was Even Owen of Owen Plumbing. He installed a new pump with an alarm so you know if the pump goes bad as well as hooked up a second pump for back up. He was extremely pleasant to work with and very professional. THIS WAS A BIG DIRTY JOB that took more than one day. But, he always wore a smile. It was not a cheap fix but I am not sure it would have been otherwise with anyone else. He gave me confidence that it would be alright. He was very capable.

Mr. Owen lives in our neighborhood and had done a few small plumbing jobs for us, when we needed a slightly bigger job done. My husband called and made an appointment for Evan to come on Tuesday. Well, he didn't come, but we could see he wasn't home, so we assumed he had a big job that took longer than expected. We made another appointment for Thursday, same thing happened. We rescheduled for Friday, and when he didn't show again we didn't call and reschedule. Maybe he thinks that because we are neighbors, we're a sure thing and he should put other jobs first, or because we are older that we have nothing better to do than to wait for him to show up, but neither is true. He is out using his leaf-blower right now, so clearly not on another job. There was no reason for him to blow us off.

Back in June 2018 my water heater broke and water leaked into my living room in the middle of the night. So in the morning I called Owen Plumbing. I called and left a voicemail. Within 30 minutes he returned my call, within two hours he was at my home. He removed the water heater and called the number in the tag. He informed me that it's still under warranty, so of course I'm happy. We went to Lowe's to exchange it and I even paid the difference to upgrade to a bigger one. Evan made my day and I was able to get back to work, knowing that when I got home I can take a nice warm shower. Very professional, knowledgeable and price very reasonable for his expertise. Was recommended to my wife. Showed up and Attitude was poor towards my wife. Over charged her to replace water heater . told her she didn't need a permit. Reused the old wood stand that was falling apart. Used the original single strap which was the 2 rusty band iron , used aluminum tape which is illegal instead of self tappers like your supposed to use , then charged her $80 to disposal of old tank , where the city would of came and picked it up for free , and when i called his attitude was as if talking to a druggie , no remorse , for being a upset customer, i just hung up and moved on, i took the water heater he installed and got from tw Smith and put it aside for an extra.. Then hired Dempster Plumbing who did it correctly permit inspection grounded strapped with the Newsstand new flu no aluminum tape and 10 gallons more so 50 gallon and not 40 gallon for just a couple more bucks than what he charged never call him again and Lessons Learned on my wife Owen Plumbing is a rip off. Only thing good came out of it is an extra water heater i now have... Im now having Dempster Plumbing give me a new water service repipe a new gas line and the blueprints to my new house.

Evan is the plumber for my place of employment. He always knows exactly what is wrong and how to fix it. The man knows what he is doing and is darn good at it too. Evan is incredibly patient and calm, even when dealing with major problems - like broken sinks and brown women who leave rambling voicemails. He lets you know what the problem is and what he will do to fix it. He is very busy but if he isn't able to come the same day he will come the next day.

My co-worker highly recommended Evan when I was looking for a plumber, so I decided to hire him for a small plumbing project in the backyard of my house. It turned out that my co-worker was right.
Before Evan started working, he walked me through what he was going to do to make sure that we are 100% on the same page. While he was working, he was willing to explain what he was up to, and when he was done, he walked me through the items he worked on one more time to make sure that the job was done per our agreement. I was very impressed with the quality of work and also by his communication skills. I will definitely hire him again if there is any plumbing need in my house.
