The name should be out stealing plumbing and heating. Charge $275 to change a wax ring on the toilet bowl that was fine then an additional $330 for a rubber gasket that took five minutes to put in that should be part of the 275 so that was $605. Disgusting zero stars

$$$$$$$$$ That's right. VERY EXPENSIVE. Had some minor plumbing work done. First, I must say that Jimmy was the plumber and he is a really nice guy and the work he did was just fine. We had 2 shower cartridges replaced, 1 toilet tank fill valve and water line feed replaced, and a sump pump cover replaced. Total parts were less than $200. Jimmy spent 4 hours here to complete the jobs. Total charged was OVER $1600. Our fault for accepting this price!! Should have read the reviews first. For instance, the sump pump cover is a $30 piece of plastic he got at Home Depot. He charged $600 for the one hour it took to replace that!!!!! Sorry everyone but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY due to the exorbitant prices they charge.

This company is a joke they tried to charge me $600 to cap a water line. Do not use these guys. They rip you off on the prices just so you pay the $50 service call. Avoid at all cost.

We had our Gas Conversion completed back in 2012 by Outstanding Plumbing and they did a wonderful job. Your probably wondering why I'm writing this today?

When we returned from a short trip on May 11, 2017, we had no hot water and the furnace just kept on clicking as if it wanted to start but a little something was missing!

I called Outstanding Plumbing first thing the next morning and Rob ""The Honest Plumber"" came out to our home. After a few moments trying to get it started Rob said it needed a new Gas Valve. ($500.) After replacing it, still no spark! I see him walk outside and come back in, I asked him if everything was OK? He responded, your gas was turned off at the meter, and was there any work done while you were away, I said yes, our neighbors mentioned to us that work was being done on our street.

Rob, told me I'm not going to charge you for the new part, since the one I took off was good, and the cost will only be $129.00 not the $500. that he stated. Rob could of just charged us the $500., and we would of never known!

That's why I called Rob ""The Honest Plumber"" and I would recommend Outstanding Plumbing to anyone who may have a plumbing issue!

Short review: Terrible service and even more terrible work!.

The management company of my complex contracted them for a global repair (but did not tell us whom they contracted at first). Outstanding Plumbing called my number twice and did not introduce themselves but simply left a message like ""Please call us back to schedule an appointment"". It sounded like a typical scam (no details on why they were calling, no reference number, not mentioning our managing company). Eventually, I got back to them and got an office help who had no clue of the work to be done (and even thought I was the one calling for scheduling work as they had no trace of them calling me). I other words, my phone number (they called) was not on record for work, neither was home address - they took my name and ... and called when I was not around. I called back a second time and we are now back to square 1 (still no reference of house number, no reference based on my phone number nor one at my name). They took a second message (clearly as unhappy as I am). This sounds hopeless.How can one get any business with such lousy bookkeeping? And the work has not even stated yet. I may change the rating if the work finally gets done (at well) but for now, I recommend you move along and find a better organized company.

Finally, the work got done and it is awful! They did not make the gas pipe go underground (there was a hole already there for that purpose) but cut the previous pipe and placed the new one above the ground, defacing my front entrance. In addition, my neighbor's pipe went on my property (to be fair, I complained and they fixed at least that). I regret only one thing: that yelp does not have negative ratings.

They came and charged $225 to diagnose my leak. I paid for two holes and an estimate for $2300. I was told the pipes are old and all need replacement. Now my mom was home for the estimate and he just about scared her into paying for MY plumbing issue. I had another company tell me, for free, I needed to replace my plumbing from 2nd to first floor, not all of it. I was disused with the estimate difference. The other company said $750. At this point I decided to do it on my own and spent $29.00 at home depot and two hours to do it myself. The lesson? Do not use this company if you like your money.

I will never use this company again. I had an issue with my shower where the water was not getting hot enough. To fix this problem I just needed to get my faucet off to adjust the temperature. This is a simple procedure, I fixed another faucet in my house that had the same issue. This particular shower faucet was extremely hard to get off so I called Outstanding Plumbing. I told them over the phone that I needed a plumber to get the shower faucet off and that there was an issue with the allen screw. The plumber came to my house and told me exactly what I told them over the phone. He could not get the faucet off. He then charged me $50 (just because he came to my house) and said to do the job he would have to cut the handle off and charge me $375. FYI my father in law got the faucet off with his tools and I was able to adjust the temperature myself. Thanks for nothing Outstanding Plumbing. I will never use this company again, they wasted my time and money.

He couldn't make a friday appt for an estimate. Gracious enough to send someone on a sat. Estimator said he could start working on Tuesday, but 19 days later, still doesn't have time to write up an estimate.

Could be they are so good, that they don't have time for new customers. But the customer service is very lacking for not even letting us know what's going on.

Disappointed. But I've never received service, so their actual plumbers could be excellent.

It's been 10 months since the boiler was replaced and I thought I should update my review. I found that I was having some issues with my thermostats - unrelated to the work that the Outstanding team performed. They came by my house TWICE and helped me troubleshoot the issue. Their technician Robert was able to explain the problem and develop a solution. My Nest thermostats are now working perfectly and my house is toasty on the first cold week of the fall. Again, if you are choosing an HVAC/Plumbing contractor and considering Outstanding do yourself a favor and choose them. I'm going to replace my AC system within the next year and know that I will be calling Outstanding to do the work.

These guys are great I used them to do an oil to gas conversion , everything was taken care of professionally. They oil tank and the chimney were taken care of and the bulk of the work was done in one day , I would recommend to friends and family
