I generally write review when a business does either a really good job, or a really not-so-good job. This one is a story of great disappointment.

I was initially impressed with the timeliness, courtesy, and cleanup provided by this business. Everything seemed impressive. However, the initial work required a repeat visit to fix several problems, and even after that visit, there were issues with leakage and improper operation of some sink hardware. This required me to keep a drip pan under my main sink, and to displace all the objects that belong there into my hallway for an extended period of time.

In trying to get Mr. Osterman to return, I patiently waited many weeks, initially to accommodate his not feeling well, followed by the onslaught of plumbing-related work he had due to the massive flooding in the San Diego area. I expressed understanding and was accommodating of both situations, but the continued delays and lack of communication were unsatisfactory. I initiated numerous phone calls and text messages to try to get the work done, and he kept putting me off. Finally he said he would call me on a Thursday and arrive on Friday, but he did neither. He failed to answer a message I left him at the end of the weekend, as to why he could not honor his word. This irresponsibility was extremely frustrating and unnecessary.

Ultimately I fixed both problems myself. One of them he had attributed to poor product design, but I learned that he had not properly adjusted the component in question. I fixed it, and it works flawlessly.

I would not recommend this business as it currently exists. Hopefully the owner will learn something from this, and will work on his sense of accountability. He can do better.

I had what I call a ""plumbing mystery"". One day, unexpectedly, the HOT water in one of our tubs would only get warm, making it impossible to take a nice bath for any length of time.

No one seemed to have an answer as to why all other faucets in the house still produced hot water.

Shawn to the rescue! He quickly fixed it and his rates are reasonable.

One regret? I wished I calked him first!

Super quick to get out to our house and early in the morning at that! He fixed our backed up/clogged shower within like 5 minutes. Super friendly and had all the needed items with him to get the job done. Price was very reasonable and he sticks to his quoted prices which was nice! Thanks Shawn!

I was in need of a new toilet in our home due to a leak. Shawn was not only professional and knowledgeable, he was patient and did a great job. I will definitely be calling for future plumbing needs.
