Recommended Customer Reviews

This is the second time I've used Orys Plumbing Service and I'm just very thankful that they were able to fix my sink clog and work with me on an installment plan. We are a one income household so household repairs can be difficult to pay. They worked with me both times and were here within 45 minutes of me calling for service. They broke down everything for me to understand and explained to me how I could prevent the issue as well! Highly recommended!!!!

Beware of this company. "manning the phones" from the other review is unbelievably true. the owner, Charlie, yells at the customer to get paid for an unfinished job. AVOID THEM to save your time and money.

Great service and super fast repair.
My sewer line was broken and they were able to fix it the same day!
Great job

I have known Charlie, the owner, for a number of years. When he left the company for whom he was previously working, I lost contact with him until last year (2016) when our paths crossed again.
Charlie has come to my house a couple ot times lately to open a drain. He came to house yesterday (1/13/2017) to assess my problem with water coming through the ceiling from the A/C. He explained to me what had to be done and indicated the work would be done the next day.
Charlie's associates just left my house (Jan 14) in which they had to run a new drain line for my A/C. They people where on time and did an excellent job and charged a reasonable amount for the work done. Tim and Tony were very professional and explained to my wife what work was done.
I very highly recommend Ory's Plumbing to anyone needing a very good plumber.
Mr. Bill

CALL THESE GUYS FIRST! Finding a good plumber can be stressful. From my first call to Ory's, the work performed and the customer service provided, there was no doubt that I had called the right company. They have now provided several services (to fix a previous plumbing company's issues), and each time I'm impressed with the thoughtful service provided. I appreciate them taking such great care with each problem while charging reasonable rates. These are the guys to call, hands down! Thank you Ory's Plumbing!

Well, Charlie is no longer doing the work. I guess he's "manning the phones" Sent out a couple of kids who proceeded to charge me $ 850 to install 2 ball valves and a tub spout. Left the tub spout way to far from the wall with a 1/4 - 1/2" gap. Called the installer and he suggested to fill in the ginormous gap with caulk. I explained to him this risks flooding the entire downstairs if it leaks. He said he would have the owner call me. Long story short - I spent the entire weekend purchasing tools (Copper tubing, fitting, torch, etc...) and redoing all of their work.
I'm still waiting on a call from the owner. :-(

Beware of this company. They charged my wife $365 to install a garbage disposal that took 45 minutes to put in. The bill was not itemized so we have no idea how the $365 was broken down and we received no paperwork for the disposal, so we have no warranty information or proof that it was even a new part. I researched the model number of the garbage disposal and found out that I could have bought it myself for $66.
When I found out the price and called Charlie to express my displeasure with the charge he said "I don't sell garbage disposals I sell a service. That's why I got into plumbing..." I feel he took advantage of the situation. Beware!

I had a dispute about the charge for services and Charlie called me immediately to resolve the problem.
He quickly made things right. Ask for Charlie and you will be great service.

They charged me $75 to come 1.2 miles to my house. After I declined paying $365 to get my line snaked 20 feet.

I had a couple of pinhole leaks on the hot water copper line over a period of about 6 weeks. Ory's sent out a crew and explained why it was happening, and that it was likely to continue happening due to the corrosion on the bottom of the copper pipe.
No one is thrilled to learn they have a problem like this, but I was glad they explained the situation and gave me the choice to either fix the leak at hand, or do a re-pipe to avoid future leaks. I chose the re-pipe.
We scheduled the work and they arrived and got to work. The work was loud and a bit dusty, but they crew were nice, and focused on completing the work within a single day. They offered my kids some of their pizza on their lunch break, and put down drop cloths where they were working. The re-pipe was complete in less than 8 hours, and they vacuumed up the mess when they were done.
I called them back the following day due to some pipe hammer in the master bathroom, and they had it addressed quickly. They even replaced the fill valve in the toilet, which was not their responsibility.
If you do a re-pipe, you're going to have a few holes where they access the pipes, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. You're probably going to want to vacuum and dust a bit too, but they covered most of the furniture that I'd have wanted covered.
Two days later the sheetrock repair crew came out and patched the holes and textured them. Now all I have to do is paint the areas. I wouldn't say I'm thrilled to have to paint some walls, but I can't see how that would be avoidable. Again, this crew was great and walked me around the house when they were done to get my approval for their work. I even had them replace some sheetrock and insulation that was damaged from the initial leak.
I've never done a re-pipe before, and I hope to not have to do it again, but this process wasn't as bad as I was expecting, and both crews were great to work with. Now it's time to re-paint some walls...
