Recommended Customer Reviews

Roberto and his team took care of our exterior painting with professionalism and dedication. He got it done in record time and worked around a lot of barriers to make our hone look great. Now we can't wait to have him to the interior too!

Im very happy with Ortegas painting work. Mr.. Ortega is reliable and his price was fair . I plan using Ortegas painting in the future and will recommend him with friends and family.

Great painter! Reliable and on time for the scheduled appointment. He was respectful of the home and finished earlier than expected!! Will be calling back for future projects!

Very sad information.
This guy was referred to me by a friend to do some painting of one of my offices and possibly some of the interior of my home.
When I initially spoke to him he was interested and attentive to my request.
I shared with him that if I was happy with his quote I would have him paint my office. If I was satisfied with his work I would then have him paint part of the interior of my home.
He provided a quote and I told him that I had received a few other quotes for a competitive price. He asked me what he needed to get to in order to receive the job and I told him.
He then agreed to go under the amount that my lowest quote was.
I appreciated this.
He showed up (late the first day).
He completed the job to a satisfactory manner.
I then gave him an opportunity to provide a quote for a couple of rooms inside my home.
He provided them and they were under the quotes previously provided so I accepted.
The day before he was to complete the work he said that he needed to charge me $200 more dollars as he had under-estimated his initial quote?
I said I was unable to increase the amount as he was the one who provided the quote.
He was angry and completed the job, but made me and my family very uncomfortable with his attitude after I told him I would not increase my pay.
The job was done adequately so the painting was acceptable.
I simply do not like to do business with someone who provided a quote and then asks for more money before he is done?
This to me is unethical and I see that he had done this to a couple of other people who had written reviews on this guy.
Very disappointed in his attitude and the way he conducted his business.
I will never use nor recommend him to anyone.

If I can give Roberto and his crew 10 stars I would! Roberto is detailed oriented, responsible, punctual and communicates well with his crew and customers. Please know if you hire him he'll complete the job and do a phenomenal work! Thank you Roberto for making my house a dream come true!
'Til the next project!

This guy is awful.
Be very careful.
This is to warn you.
He will ask for more money before your project is complete.
This makes for a very uncomfortable situation especially since the project was ultimately not completed?
If you do not pay him, he will leave the project not done properly.
He initially provided a quote for a job to do some bathroom remodeling work.
Right in the middle of the project, he abandoned the job twice, and used the excuse that he had a family emergency.
He initially provided a competitive quote for the remodel work and actually lowered his quote to secure the job.
I agreed to his quote and he commenced doing the work.
Just a few days before he completed the job, he said he needed $600 more than what he originally proposed?
I asked him if HE was the one who had offered to complete the job for the amount HE proposed?
He said yes.
He then said, ""never mind"".
He had a plumber friend help him for a portion of the project.
His friend did not properly put together the fixture, and it wasn't working. I asked Roberto to please have the plumber come back out and fix it. He ignored all voice, text and email messages.
He finally texted me back and told me to contact his plumber friend for any problems. I told him I would, and to please provide the guy's telephone number. He never responded.
How am I supposed to contact his Plumber friend if he won't provide the guy's number for me?
I wonder if he was mad that I didn't agree to give him more money than we initially agreed upon, and that this was his way of punishing me?
I did not appreciate how he left me in the need to hire a plumber to fix what his friend would have been able to fix.
Is this his way of punishing me for not giving him an additional $600 that he demanded?
Very disappointed as he was highly recommended by a friend for painting project that he had done for him.
I see that others have offered favorable reviews.
I would have provided a favorable review also, had he just;
(1) completed the project correctly.
(2) Not made me very uncomfortable by demanding more money.
(3) having the plumbing portion completed so that the fixture worked.
I see that he denies knowing me.
I take no pleasure in taking time to provide reviews, unfavorable or favorable.
I write this to warn others to beware of his unethical business practices.

Roberto and his crew we're amazing! They wore masks, very professional, so polite and extremely meticulous. You can tell a lot about a person with the way he treats his crew. Roberto is very respectful towards them and they work as a team, making the homeowner feel at ease. His communication skills are excellent again making things very smooth. Kayden very well with my husbandHe is very patient and he wants nothing but to make his customers happy and fully satisfied. I will attach pictures once I put my house together for you to see. I recommend Roberto's painting and remodeling to anyone looking for a fair price and an excellent job.

Robert and his crew were amazing! Top-notch! First Roberto is very pleasant to work with. He is extremely accommodating and patient. He speaks English if that is important to you and communicates well. He was very fair with his estimate. His preparation before the painting was impeccable! These guys made sure every nook and cranny was fully covered, they treated our furniture with such care. The job came out immaculate! I will post pictures once we finish the furnishing and such. If you don't like something, he will do it again or make sure the color is full to your satisfaction, bottom line, Robert is extremely professional. One thing I loved is how he treated his crew with such respect, that there tells a lot about someone. We quoted 4 painters, he won the job because he presented himself honestly and with grace. He also does remolding!! He is our guy from now on!
P.S. I am not sure who this other yelper, Michael L. is but he is surely not describing Robert at all, I am sorry! Picture's to follow, stay tuned!!!

Best painter! I needed some help painting the door that I ruined during quarantine. Ortega was willing to help me with a very reasonable price. He did an AMAZING job painting my door. I can't be happier how it turned out. He was also very professional and always responded my text quickly. Will definitely call him if I need anything done in the future. I highly highly recommend him!!!

Additional update: I reached out to Roberto to ask him if he would come back out and fix the Plumbing fixture that was not working.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TO HAVE THE JOB DONE INCORRECTLY!
HE IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
HE IS COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE.
He texted me and said that if any repairs needed to be done with Plumbing to contact his Plumber friend.
I advised him that I did not have Marco's number and asked him if he would provide it.
He completely ignored my request to provide Marco's number, although he advised me to contact Marco directly?
He specifically told me his initial Yelp review was from one of his customers (he said that Patricia C was a friend) who he did complete a job for and he had asked her to provide a favorable review to help him. I never doubted that Patricia was a customer.
Roberto will not come back out and fix the plumbing fixture, nor will he ask his Plumber friend to come back out and fix it properly.
This to me is irresponsible and unprofessional.
This is what you have to deal with when you are dealing with a non-licensed guy.
I now have had to hire a plumber to fix the plumbing that Roberto's friend did not complete correctly.
I actually like the guy as evidenced that I had used him before.
He never asked for more money before, and then didn't complete the job properly.
I am writing this to warn people not to use this guy who will ask for more money before he has completed the job, and then not complete it properly if you don't give him more?
He was the one who provided agreed to the proposal and actually lowered his quote to secure the job.
I accepted his offer.
Before he was done he asked for more?
Is this professional?
