Bill just installed a custom shower pan and Hydro-Blok for our mostly DIY bathroom renovation. We did the tiling but realized we needed a pro for the waterproofing in the new shower. He came recommended to us by a friend. Bill did a good job - he's friendly and he was responsive via texting to answer our questions as we worked through our process. Thanks Bill!

Bill did a great job at putting in our shower pan. He also advised us as we decided between a curb or curbless shower, explaining the structural differences (and shower pan requirements) between the two. He came highly recommended from a friend, and completed the shower pan quickly and on short notice. I will use him when we put in our second bathroom and would recommend him to anyone else in a heartbeat!

Bill did a great job setting our shower pan. He was easy to work with, and communicated well by phone and text prior to the install. He stopped by a week prior to the work to make sure everything was ready-- worked with our plumber and tile contractors-- arrived on time-- finished early -- completed the work at the budget he quoted.

He also is a funny , nice, A++ human who likes to laugh.

Well, I've never given a bad review before and I don't like being put into the position of having todo so. Bill has not done work for me, so I cannot comment on his quality of workmanship, however, he promised to do a job and I did the the work for my client to drop frame their shower floor according to Bills specifications. I have asked him for a contract and commitment to date so as to schedule other sub contractors around his part. Still no responses! This has put my professional reputation on the line. I have searched the full length of the Gorge and Portland for someone that pours shower pans, to no avail. NOT COOL.
Ok, two weeks have past. Bill did eventually contact me. He had apparently broken a couple of ribs... ouch! He has finished the work and all seems good ! His pain was evident and garnered sympathy, even from me. Thanks for the great work! BUT, don't let the pain stop the open communication.

This guy sucks. Took the job, I waited for him and he never showed up and wouldn't return my calls. Funny way to do business. I called Robert Nardone at Elegant Designs and he couldn't have been better! Cheaper, honest, fast and used the German WEDI system which ruled over the Shower Pan Man's plan. Save yourself the trouble I had to go through learning about the SPM.

I had to have a shower pan installed and got a few quotes. Bill from The original shower pan man by far was the most knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with confidance. He came out during the weekend (at my request due to my work schedule), on Saturday to prep and start, then again on Sunday to finish. It was also during a snow storm i might say. He saved me a lot of time money and problems by doing the job instead of me trying a DIY on it. I usually DIY everything but I knew better this time. I would hire him again, and I could recommend him with out hesitation. Get it done right the first time and get on living.
