Very helpful, kind, and affordable. Heater died in freezing cold temperature. They came immediately and diagnosed the problem. The part wouldn't come in until the next day. They brought over portable heaters so my kids and I could stay warm over night!! 100% will work with them again in the future!! Keep up the kindness and great work!!
I have used Orchard Hill in the past with no issues. Recently, however, I had a very bad experience with them. I called them for a repair to a leaky pipe under the bathroom sink. When the plumber got to the house he called me to inform me that, due to the old galvanized plumbing, it may be an expensive repair. I have no problem with that. Ok, I asked about how much will it cost and that I would wait for a quote prior to kicking off the repair. He said he would provide a quote later but expect about $2,000. An hour later the office emailed me a quote for $4,500 but no detail on materials or labor. I called the plumber, he said the reason for the high quote was to ""cover his butt"". You could tell he was itching for an argument. On top of that, at the bottom of the quote, in HUGE FONT, he added "" WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THERE IS ANY FREEZING!"". Wow - do you have to rub my nose in the rudeness? I also found out that their hourly rate, as he said ""my cheap rate"" is $100/hour. This is $21/hour higher than a local, reputable competitor. If you need mechanical work I recommend going somewhere else and get treated with kindness and respect.
