Scope of work:
Ordered a dishwasher from Costco. Options was providing the installation, not the delivery (unfortunately).

Summary of review:
1. Great communication:
Jose called two days before to let me know how the process would work, and answered questions I had.
The tech, Mark called me the morning of and asked if he could come at a block of time.

2. Friendly Tech:
Mark arrived, uninstalled, and hauled out the old dishwasher quickly

3. Above and Beyond:
The delivery part of the equation was a disaster. The separate delivery company was late and didn't communicate that (despite calling me at 7am and telling me they would come between a certain time). Mark stayed longer than he planned for and waited with me for the delivery so I could get the dishwasher installed today and not have it sit in my driveway. He even took it from the delivery guys and wheeled it up himself, and installed it.

I would absolutely call Jose and Mark for any future plumbing needs based off this. Also recommending Costco NOT use a separate company to deliver products. Options is reliable and good at communicating and values their customers time which really makes this an overall great experience.

We bought a new stove and a gas dryer from a big box store, but they wouldn't connect the dryer and while they did connect the stove, it didn't fit flush against the kitchen wall like the previous one because of the orientation of the gas valve. We requested quotes on Yelp, and while several companies responded, only Jose from Options Plumbing responded with an estimated cost to hook up the dryer and relocate the gas valve. The others wanted me to call them and set up an appointment for a visit. :(

Jose was able to come out in a couple of days, arriving on time and in a smart-looking, clearly marked van. He took a quick look at the gas valve and indicated it wouldn't require opening up the wall and relocating the valve, saving hundreds of dollars. He also pointed out how the big box's delivery/installation company incorrectly connected the stove to the gas line.

He quickly took care of the connections, tested everything, and stayed long enough to ensure the dryer came up to temperature. Super professional and responsive! I would have no concern hiring Options Plumbing Co. again or recommending them to friends and family. Thanks, Jose!

This plumber (Vince) was supposed to install our dishwasher we ordered at Costco. The water shutoff valve under our sink leaks a little when being turned but doesn't leak when fully in the on or off position. We have played around with it a lot and know it works perfectly well. He refused to install the dishwasher unless we let him replace the valve for an additional $95 charge. That's WAY too much for such work and we told him we felt he was taking advantage of the situation. He became audibly upset when we told him that and packed up his bags and left. NOT a good look. It is going to be very inconvenient to have an uninstalled dishwasher sitting in my kitchen, however there's no way I would let an emotionally fragile bully take advantage of me in such a way.

UPDATE:
Thank you Jose for sending Philip to install the dishwasher the next day. He was very professional, did a great job and showed us how the dishwasher is supposed to work. I'm revising my review from 1 to 4 stars to reflect the 1 star initial encounter with the 5 star+ followup.

Costco sent Options Plumbing to install our KitchenAid dishwasher. Melanie reached out to schedule the appointment and was very helpful and friendly. The technician Hector Tamayo was punctual, knowledgeable and courteous and went above and beyond, explaining everything and working around the existing cabinetry to get a perfect fit. We will be using this company again for the installation of a new stove and downdraft. I highly recommend them!!!

After being told by a couple other plumbers that to fix our restricted water concern, we would have to spend thousands and re-pipe our house, I found Jose, who saved the day!!!!

He was professional, kind, and agreed to come give us a quote the next day. He was the ONLY plumber that actually looked at things instead of assuming what the issue was. Instead of a quote, he fixed the issue in 20 minutes and saved us thousands of dollars and unnecessary work.

I ordered a new dishwasher and mistakenly did not order the installation, so I hired someone via Home Depot's pro referral program. Long story short, this so-called pro took almost all day to install my dishwasher, only to have the whole machine come off when I lightly pulled the door handle! So, I called Jose and he gave me a reasonable quote and was available right away.

When Jose arrived to inspect the installation, he found a number of problems, like missing parts the previous installer threw out! But he said he'd figure it out and make sure I have a working dishwasher by the time he left. Jose was neat, he brought his own carpet to protect my wood floors. He not only fixed the dishwasher installation, he also installed a new garbage disposer and kitchen faucet for me. Everything is working great so far, and I'm really happy with his work. It's hard these days to find someone who does good work and is polite, neat and professional as well. Highly recommend and will hire again.

Options Plumbing was contracted through Lowe's to handle a removal of defective dishwasher and install of new. The company was amazing from beginning to end! Once they were assigned the job:
1. Called advising they were the installers. Gave me date and time options for delivery.
2. Called day before to remind me
3. On day of, Installer called to advise he was 30 minutes away.
4. Installer, Phillip Mojarro arrived clean, MASKED and extremely professional.
5. Prepped area. Placed container under sink to catch any water.
6. Drained old dishwasher.
7. Removed.
8. CLEANED area where old DW was, then installed new.
9. Adjusted to counter, ATTACHED to counter (previous installer from another company did NON of this)
10. Checked all cycles.
11. CLEANED UP the sawdust, wrapping materials; poured out the drained water and left his card to contact him if there were any concerns. He left the area looking better than it was when he arrived.
I've been dealing with contractors, installers, plumbers etc for over 40 years: Phillip Mojarro is the best of all them. Options Plumbing is the most professional company you can hope to deal with. Oh, and the dishwasher purrs. Thank you Phillip Mojarro and OPTIONS PLUMBING!
