Option one was my go to plumber for every plumbing job i had in the rentals I own. I had been happy with their work. On the last job I used them for they fixed a leak under the floor. Instead of using the correct 90-degree fitting they forced the pex to bend to make a straight fitting 'work' and charged $312. When I went back to the house i could still hear the dripping. I went back under the floor myself to discover the stress put on the line by the wrong fitting. I got the correct 90 degree fitting myself for about $10 and replaced theirs, relieving the stress on the line and fixing the problem. Very dissapointed, they have lost a repeat customer and I have moved on.

We used to hire this company a lot to clean the drain pipes in our houses - the service was OK, but the price was hard to beat - the $49.99 was painted prominently on their service vans. It was a good value.
In the last little while they raised the price a lot - now on the service van there is a number 1 squeezed between the dollar sign and the 4 - yes, it does say $149.99, although, as I understand it, sometimes they will charge a bit less. With the price gone up 3 times, it is definitely not the value it used to be. But that's not my objection. In my case, they came to clean the slow drain, and then about a month later we had a problem with the same pipe, so we called them again. The warranty is only 14 days, so we had to pay again. This time we chose to inspect it with the camera, only to find out that there is an obstruction in the pipe, which required to dig up about 1.5 feet of dirt and put in a cleanout. We asked the tech for a quote, and he quoted us $1500. We had similar work done on another house, so we had an idea that this repair should cost around a third of that. We asked the tech, and he said he'd give us a ""heavily discounted"" price of $1350 if we put their advertising sign on our property. We asked for a couple more quotes, and one was $550 and the other was $400 - both by licensed plumbers. My concern is that they saw us as a captive audience - people without a working sewer - and decided to jack up the price. This predatory way of doing business is not what I would expect from a professional I would trust. hence the 2-star rating.

We were desperate. My mother and her husband are retired and have been living in an 80 year old house for 50 years. I also have a brother who lives there with special needs. It was a mess; toilet, shower, water outside the house even. There is no way they could have waited until Monday. It was 8pm Sunday night, the tech, Sam, got there within the hour. Don't get me wrong it was pricy, but thank goodness the resources were available to get it fixed. He was professional and explained everything along the way. He was so kind to listen to my mother ask questions, tell her stories and even show a few pictures of grandkids as grandmas do. He was very efficient and even though he was on call all weekend until the next morning at 6am, he had positive energy and a great attitude. He left recommendations for some future work (his bosses should be proud of the pitch he gave) My mother wants him to do any and all future work for her. Thanks!

I have used Option One twice and each time they got the job done right. The most recent time was a problem with a toilet and Sammy came over, diagnosed the problem correctly and got the problem handled. I will definitely continue to use Option One in the future.

I called Option One Plumbing regarding a backed-up sewer line. Derrik the technician was on time and very professional. After a few attempts to clear the line and running a video inside the line, it was determined the line was old, cracked with tree roots, and needed replaced. He worked diligently installing the new line and had it completed on time as promised. The estimate was pretty high but I needed the line replaced. I wish I had time to request other estimates.

I only needed help on a simple but annoying kitchen drain clogging issue and called Option One (never used them before). Option One kept it simple for me, gave me an upfront estimate, arrived on time and completed the work in an efficient manner. What more could you ask for? I'll use them again for sure!

I have been using Option One Plumbing for several years personally and professionally as a real estate agent. They did a full sewer replacement on my personal property as well as numerous miscellaneous plumbing jobs. I have referred Option One to my clients, both buyers and sellers, and received positive feedback from all of them. The two technicians I work with consistently are Andrew and Robert. Andrew is always professional, considerate and listens to your concerns and questions. If he encounters a situation he is not familiar with or wants a confirmation that his approach is correct, he will get on the phone with Robert, his supervisor, or another colleague. This builds confidence in me that the job is being done right the first time. Robert brings a level of knowledge, skill and direction to the jobs. He is great at overcoming challenges and his communication with the client is honest and transparent. In the years I've worked with Option One, I have never felt like they dishonestly diagnosed a job for their benefit to make more money. I will continue building and maintaining my relationship with Option One plumbing today and moving forward.

Sam was great! He did a great job, but he told me$2500, but then it was 2650, and $106 because I didn't have pay in cash. I would use them again

Buyer beware! I had an appointment between 10 and 12. At 11:30, I called to ask about ETA. Chantell told me that they were running late, I was next in line, and the plumber would arrive by 1230. At 1, I hadn't heard from anyone, so called again. I spoke with a different person who couldn't find my work order and said there was a ""glitch in the system."" I explained I had talked to Chantell at 1130. She transferred me to Chantell, who was extremely rude. She claimed to have called me at 11:30 (not true), said she didn't guaranty an arrival time of 12:30 (again, untrue) and when I pushed back and asked why the plumber hadn't arrived yet when I was told 1.5 hours earlier I was next in line, told me I was being rude! I asked her to have the manager call me. . .never heard back and the plumber did not arrive. Horrible customer service. Very disappointed.

I've used Option One twice now and both times the experience was great. They are great for dealing with clogged drains!
Both times the Technician who came was very professional and helpful. And they were on time, called before coming over, and we're a pleasure to deal with!
