We have used Optimum many times on commercial jobs and we have been nothing but completely satisfied! It is nice to have a vendor that you can trust and in which you can have complete confidence. We're in escrow to purchase a home and during the inspection we discovered clogged drains. We called optimum plumbing and scheduled a camera inspection of the house drain line's. They came out the next day and scoped the drains from six different runs and found major problems. The great part about it was their knowledge of a plumbing layout for a 58 yr old house; their explanations and descriptions; and, informing us of possible solutions . We paid an additional $40 for a zip drive of all drains scoped, and John sent a detailed report the next morning. Fantastic, Optimum plumbing is the best!

I used Optimum Plumbing Service on my rental property in San Ana on June 12th. My tenant called the night before and reported water leaking in the kitchen and bathroom. Next morning I call several plumbing companies in Orange County that I found on YELP. Tracie and then John called back and said they can come out in the late afternoon same day. The problems were fixed and price was reasonable. Tenant was happy. I am happy. I used to do plumbing works on my properties to save money when I was younger. Now I am retired and plan do a lot of travel so I need to find a reliable plumbing company to take care of plumbing problems when I am away on travel. This is the company I would have my tenants call when there is plumbing problems. Great work John and thank you.

Received a call last night from our tenant about water over flowing, it sounded like a real mess. Wasn't sure who to call, my wife had remembered she had a coupon she recently had saved from a mailer. When I called after hours the phone message said to call another number so I did and reached Todd, he sure knew his stuff and was ready to go at 10:00/ 10/30 pm. After taking with him and the tenant we decided to have Optimum come out first thing in the morning. They were right on time and showed me on there camera the roots that where causing the problem from outside the condo. The association had planted a huge ficus tree about 15/ 20 feet from the back patio and the had spread all in pipe. Todd even pull out most of the roots so I could show the property management, he also got on the phone to explain to property management what was going on. After he got off the phone with them he put me back on, they said they would pick up the bill and send a crew out to take out tree and reline or repipe the problem. Thanks to the whole staff at Optimum very professional . I will defiantly be using you guys again for all my plumbing problems.

I will recommend Optimum to anyone who needs plumbing work. John is an extremely hard worker who cares about his business and customers whole heartedly. I hired Optimum Plumbing Services to move a drip line. John came out and gave me a price and his team performed work later the same day. About 2 weeks later, I noticed that the drip line was sticking 8"" above the ground?not flush with the ground as requested. I texted John (with a photo of issue) to have the drip lowered because it is an easy target for breakage since it is in the same area as a hose we use often. I didn't hear back, so I texted him again. After no response, I reached out to him a third time via phone (voicemail) in case the texts were overlooked. It's been 4 weeks since my initial request to fix and he has neither repaired the problem or responded to my inquiries.

Some tweeters stole our backflow coppers water line between the night. As soon as we were done troubleshooting the problem. I yelped a local plumbinh company and say them. He was very straight forwarded and accurate with his estimate when we would be open with some time to spare actually.

I must say that if there was the option for a 6 star rating I would certainly have put that for this company as a rating! I have worked in five start and five diamond luxury resorts for over 14 years have had extensive customer service training classes and have even presented on customer service. With that being said I wanted to share my positive experience as word of mouth is very important and exceptional customer services should not go unnoticed when it truly is exceptional.... I recently received a call from my mom who was on a weekend get away in the Big Bear mountains and while she was there noticed a leak in the water main line... I'm down here in orang county and was not able to get there to help her right away... However thanks to a great friends recommendation they gave me Optimum Plumbings contact information. Being that it was a weekend and about 5pm on a sat I was not expecting to reach an actual person.... Well when I called the actual owner John Karlen answered phone on second ring and sounded so friendly and professional and it was as if he was truly wanting to help out even though he did not know me...now that's a nice first impression ! I explained the situation and figured since he was a business in the orang county area he would probably refer me to a mountain plumber... I was wrong on this he went well beyond customer service and asked me to send some pictures of what the problem looked like so I had my mom send me a picture and then sent to him... He immediately called me back after he got the pictures and explained what the situation was most likely and he offered to go up to the mountains the next morning to even look at and give an estimate... He gave a time of when he would meet my mom and he showed up early and was professionally dressed too and had one of his employees with him to help...My mom was so impressed and really appreciated him doing this on short notice and he has already given a very fair estimate and had already scheduled for them to come up and do the repairs. They could have done the repair right then but my mom wanted to wait till she was back up there as John assured her it was not in need of an emergency repair. I Can honestly say I have not ever had a plumbing service go this far put of the way just to help trouble shoot a situation. I highly recommend Optimum plumbing for anyone no matter what the service is and no matter the time of day this is a company you can trust who will give great prompt friendly and honest service! I will recommend Johns business to everyone thank you for taking care of my mom!!!!

John Karlen at Optimum Plumbing in Santa Ana was very responsive to our call. We had a water heater that was leaking and we needed attention right away. He came and replaced it the same day.The previous plumber had done some of the work wrong, so John showed me how he was going to correct it and did it for the original price that he quoted. I have wood floors and without even asking, the 1st thing he did was put down drop cloths. By the time they left, there wasn't a trace of dirt or footprints left. I highly recommend Optimum Plumbing and have referred them to several neighbors already, who all say they are happy with his work.
