We called Ongaro & Sons during a heat wave in the North Bay when our AC wouldn't turn on. The scheduler Madeline was very kind and helpful with arranging a same day appointment to have our unit serviced. Joshua was our technician and was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem in no time at all. We will definitely use their services again and can't thank them enough!

Ongaro recenting replaced my home furnace. First Chris came to our home and gave me a proposal for two different furnace options and explained the differences. The proposals were throrough and clear and he answered all questions I had. Next the crew came out to do the work. They worked efficently and cleanly the the project was done without any problems. They explained the operation of the new furnance and helped me set up the new digital thermostat and connect it to the web.

Ongaro installed a heat pump heating/AC system in our house. It was a fairly massive job, including the addition of a duct and vent for our sunny living room to ensure it would be sufficiently cooled during heat waves, the splitting of some ducts to allow for two zones in our house, and the installation of a ""redlink zone board"" hookup so we can manage the two thermostats from anywhere in or away from our home using an app on our phones. All the people we worked with -- the electricians, the administrative staff, the heat/AC workers, the project manager -- were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and courteous. We would gladly use them again for any type of jobs they handle.

The technicians were on time for both visits. They inspected my ductwork under the house to ensure it was all intact. Thoroughly explained the process of cleaning my ductwork complete with before and after pictures. Polite and respectful.

Today Kent came out and installed a new garbage disposal. He was on time, friendly, efficient and kind to our cute pug. He kept the area clean and tested the install twice to make sure there were no leaks under the sink. Kent is obviously an experienced plumber and an asset to Ongaro. For the last many years, Ongaro is the only company we choose for plumbing, heating, air conditioning because their technicians are so competent and knowledgable. Couldn't be more pleased with this service and this company.

plumbing, had another local do the same work for 760.00. also
sold me some equipment I didn't need, when installing my ac
during covid. Run these people are rip offs.

Last winter our furnace gave out, and Ongaro and Sons came out promptly and fixed it. While recommending we replace our 30 year old furnace, there was no pressure, and they happily got it up and working again. This summer, as the heatwave started, our air conditioning unit also gave out. We had a few estimates to repair it, including Ongaro. As we discussed what to do, we thought of the Ongaro rep reminding us of the recent furnace repair, and the age of our HVAC system. Never any pressure, just information. We decided to replace the entire system, furnace, air, and ducts. Also, because of the change of codes since the house was built, everything had to be moved to the other side of the house.
Ongaro walked us through the entire process, including financing. They also brought us portable a/c units as the temperatures were still soaring.
Every person we dealt with was professional, polite, and kind. It was not inexpensive, by any means, but it was worth it. The techs who did the installation even carried in my groceries for me!
