Erica C.Robert and his team are efficient, honest and knowledgeable. Our furnace issue ended up being more complicated than initially thought and Robert explained the issues and our options in a helpful, professional manner. Everything is working great since OneStop's visit. He even helped me ensure my furnace was under warranty which was most appreciated.
Gabriel G.Highly recommend One Stop Pro team! We've used them for multiple services and always been a great experience!
Imran F.Had the pleasure of having Robert come for a service call as my heat all of the sudden stopped working. They were able to come the same day and Robert was not only professional but he was friendly and most importantly honest! I would highly recommend One Stop Pro/Robert for your heating/cooling, plumbing and electrical. Thanks again Robert!
Marcus C.I had a faulty wire in my light fixture. I called to let then know same day that I had an appointment in Rosemont for work. The electrician Robert called me twice to update me that their existing project was running long and he left his other colleagues to help me before I had to leave. He was extremely helpful and most important thoughtful of my time. He also gave me a quick education on the issue. He quoted me on getting a new fixture installed. I will be using then again. Well done. You will see I usually don't take time to do this.
After a little scheduling hiccup, Rob stopped by and fixed our leaking toilet for no fee! Happy to have found this company, which places such a high value on customer satisfaction! Will definitely call on them again.
This is the third time we have used OneStop Pro. Will is always on time, professional, knowledgeable, and never leaves my house a mess. I would definitely recommend OneStop Pro! Thank you!
There was a mix up with the front office lady named Camille, she didn't send the right repairman to fix my AC unit, but after talking to the owner Dan, he sensed my frustration and apologized and sent out the right person out and even cleaned my AC coils at no extra charge. Good customer service overall.
Laurie A.We just bought a new house and wanted to get some minor plumbing issues addressed. We called OneStop Pro and they sent a plumber out the same morning. He showed up on time was very polite and professional and addressed all issues after providing accurate quotes for approval. He gave us advice on some additional work that could be done on our timeline with no pressure. I would recommend OneStop Pro to others
Aurora I.I don't know how in the world this company has so many 5-star reviews because my experience with them has been nothing but a con game from the start. We called them out on an emergency basis at the end of April 2018 when our electricity went out and we couldn't get the main breaker to our home to flip back on. The electrician came out in a couple of hours, my elderly mother was the only one home at the time, and he got the breaker switched back on for her. I should explain that we live on property with well water, so with no electricity, we also have no water.
He then told her that we had more than one problem with our electric and that it was going to cost roughly $5,000 to fix it. At that time, my mother told him she would have to discuss this with her daughter and son-in-law (we are the homeowners) before agreeing to any work. The ""salesman/electrician"" insisted that she sign a contract right away because our entire home could explode at any minute, that's how dangerous the situation was. She refused and at that point, the ""salesman/electrician"" informed her he would have to go back downstairs and turn off all the electricity again -- unless, of course, she signed the papers agreeing to give OneStop the job. Under those circumstances, he could leave the power on.
At this point, she told him she wanted him to leave immediately and that if he didn't, she was going to call the police. He left but not before terrifying her even more as he consistently repeated that the house was going to explode.
About an hour later, I receive a phone call from a manager of some sort stating that we have to sign a piece of paper that the ""salesman/electrician"" is going to be bringing back to us stating that we are aware of the dangers of leaving the electricity on in our home and OneStop will be held harmless should the home burst into flames and kill us all.
By the time the man arrived, I was home and signed his ridiculous paper. The next day (a Saturday), one of their workers showed up bright and early at 8 a.m. to begin working on our electricity. The only problem is we told them NO. We didn't sign any agreement for them to do the work, I read the paper he gave me before I signed it, it was a basic ""hold harmless"" statement, nothing about contracting for work. The worker seemed genuinely confused when I turned him away. I was more than a little agitated at the overly aggressive tactics being used on women who appeared to have no male in the home to protect them. Unbeknownst to them, my husband is a general contractor and does know quite a bit about electricity, he just happened to be out of town with his job at the time.
We contacted other electricians who came out and gave us MUCH BETTER ESTIMATES than OneStop -- they were, by far, the most expensive quote we received. We did have both the interior and exterior electrical boxes entirely replaced, had to have ComEd shut off our main pole to the home for almost 8 hours, yes, it was a great big deal -- that cost us $1800 total when OneStop wanted $5000. And no, my husband didn't do the work nor did anyone with whom he works, we used an electrician we found on Yelp.
I wish my story ended there, but now, OneStop is sending me an invoice for $4,945.00 for WORK THEY NEVER DID!!! And the best part is that it's a ""reminder"" invoice because my payment is late. So, I call them and speak to an absolute angel of a woman named Camille, she is truly a sweetheart, and she swears up and down that they are a wonderful company and this kind of thing has never happened to them before. She is completely shocked by what has happened to us. I honestly felt bad for being so irate with her because she was the best -- and the ONLY reason they are getting two stars instead of one. Her customer service skills were right on the money.
Now, their owner replied to me with two emails explaining that it was a computer glitch that turned an ""estimate"" into an ""invoice"". It was a nice email, he apologized for the error. But the entire experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth about their business practices. The threatening of an elderly woman wasn't an accident. None of the other electricians that came were concerned about exploding. As a matter of fact, it took almost two months to get everything repaired and no one exploded.
Their high prices are also a reason for pause when hiring them. I understand how people feel when their electricity, air conditioning
or plumbing goes; you get frantic and you want it fixed immediately, cost be damned...but there are excellent electricians out there who will do amazing work for a fraction of the cost if you're just willing to call a few different people for estimates! Maybe it was just bad luck for us, we got a horrible ""salesman/electrician"" who thought he could get a big job from women who didn't know any better. Maybe everyone else there is great, but I, for one, won't be calling them again to find out!
We were very happy with OneStop and their services. Our AC was out and we needed someone to come and check it out. I called OneStop and they tried to schedule us a couple of times. The first time Jake came out, he had a good idea of what the issue was, but could not access the condenser that was on top of the condo building because we needed a code to get up there. They were nice enough to not charge us for that visit. Jake returned at the end of the week after we got access to the roof and he was able to fix the issue very quickly. Very nice to work with and came right on time.
The price was also very reasonable compared to the other HVAC companies we have worked with. We will be using OneStop for any future issues we might have.
