I wanted my garbage disposal removed. I was told it was going to be $175 per half hour. Two people came. It took 40 minutes. Since I was getting billed in half hour increments, anyway, they offered to inspect plumbing in other parts of the house to round out the rest of the time. Todd was very knowledgeable and pointed out areas that could be fixed. In the end, it cost $455 w tax to get my garbage disposal removed. I wish I had just had asked my regular handyman earlier if he could do it, because he only charges $85 an hour. I only found out later from a friend that garbage disposal removals do not require a plumber. Todd's Inspection did yield valuable information. For example, Todd pointed out that my water heater has been installed not to code (I'm working w Lowes to fix that now, since they had installed it). I pointed out a faucet that used to drip, and he turned it on to test it. Later on, it kept dripping for a couple of days and I had emailed ONeills but I got no response about how to fix it. Fortunately, it stopped on its own. I can imagine going back for complicated plumbing issues, but not simple stuff. 5 stars for service, 3 stars for value. So that's why I'm giving 4 stars. Just know it's super $$$$

Highly recommend O'Neil Plumbing. Their plumbers Bobby and Frank were timely, professional, and did not try to sell me services I dont need. Ive previously used several different plumbing services in Seattle, and have been less than impressed. I found O'Neil Plumbing had high marks, tried them, and now have used them twice. I will continue to use O'Neil in the future when needed.

My pipes under the kitchen sink leaked on Sunday, Christmas day. I called and got an appointment for someone to come at 1:30 on Monday. After no one showed, I called a couple hours later and was promised a call back and visit. I had to call several times and got the same promise. The last time, the receptionist gave me an email address which I used. It's Wednesday evening, and I have never heard from them. Bee's Plumbing came and saved the day. Quick, friendly competent service and a better price.

O'Neill has been our condo plumbing company for many years. We always request for John to be our plumber. He is exemplary in many ways.... his expertise, his tenaciousness, his ability to explain issues and remedies and of course, his workmanship! Recently because of his thoroughness, John discovered a leak in an owner's unit...had he not found it, the unit would have been totally flooded because the owner was gone for 6 months. We sure hope his company appreciates him as much as we all do!

I woke up to the worst news a few weeks ago. The local water district banging on my door telling me I have a major water leak and they are shutting off my water. I called O'Neil Plumbing at they came out early the next morning and fixed the issue. Luckily, it was my pressure release valve right next to the water main so instead of tearing up my concrete rockery and driveway, they spent a few minutes digging and replaced the valve. My 10-20k job turned out to be $2,100 from them.

Then a few days ago the water company left a note on my door stating I still had a leak. When I called them to ask if it could be a toilet, I was told no it was the repair.

O'Neil came back out and checked the repair and it was dry. They think it is the toilet in one of my bathrooms that needs to be replaced.

I cannot say enough about them. Mike was very kind and understanding. I will not hesitate to contact them again in the future.

Save your time, money, and anxiety and call O'Neil Plumbing.

I've been left hanging for a few months now, with a toilet in disrepair, all over the bathroom floor. Communication on the parts that have been on order happened one time, and only because I pushed back on paying the initial service bill (ya know, job wasn't done, really don't think I should pay yet).

I continue to wait patiently for someone, anyone to communicate with me WTH is taking so long. (crickets)

Then I receive a bill with INTEREST charges...huh?

This isn't zero stars because Tim did call and did return my check (w/interest) and seemed to be genuinely in the dark about what happened with his techs (see lack of communication above). But as they say, too little, too late.

I have had O'Neill Plumbing come out to my place twice, and both times have been great experiences! John Keigley was my plumber each time. After he came out once, he learned where my place was (the GPS is often wrong) and remembered when he returned over a year later. His work was efficient and excellent! More info is below about the work.

I am at high risk for COVID-19, and when he saw me wearing a mask today at the gate to my complex he proactively asked if I wanted him to wear one, which I really appreciated because asking someone to mask can be contentious at times. When I said yes, he quickly pulled out a good quality N95/KN95 mask and put it on before we were indoors. He was respectful about keeping a distance inside as well. I know this is a lot of talk about COVID precautions, and not plumbing, but as someone high risk, inviting a stranger into my home is scary. It seems that many contractors are viewing COVID and COVID precautions as a thing of the past, so I very much appreciated John taking it seriously.

The first time I had O'Neill come out to my condo was when I moved in, in May 2021. They sent out John to replace my 21-year-old water heater which was a risk of failure and showing signs of leaks. It has been smooth sailing since. No leaks, no massive floods to due an ancient water heater giving up, and hot water as needed!

The most recent time was today, June 2022. I had purchased a new washer from Costco, and on Monday after they came to deliver it, they said they would not install it due to concerns about evidence of corrosion and leaks on the washer shutoff valves. I called O'Neill that Monday afternoon and they scheduled John to come out early Friday morning. John replaced the valves quickly and carefully, keeping water from spewing everywhere even though my condo's water shutoff was a bit tricky. He also pointed out a potential issue with my shower's handle and offered to fix it then too (I decided to wait). He was great with my 12.5-year-old poodle who likes to be nosy and watch people work or lie on the carpet directly in front of where they need to go.

When it was time to pay today, John made sure to inform me of the different fees for different payment options, so I could make an informed decision about which fit my budget best. I appreciated that!

Overall, I have had great experiences with O'Neill and I will continue to highly recommend them to folks in the future.

We had an old hose bibb that was dripping and a ball valve that was supposed to shut off the water to that hose bibb that was no longer shutting off completely. I had someone from another plumbing company out earlier in the week for an unrelated drainage issue (I wish I had contacted O'Neill for that one as well). They gave a rough estimate of $12-1500 for the repair, but then never got back to me like they said they would.) On a T&M basis that seemed quite high, and he gave me a mealy-mouthed response about cost of materials, labor (even though I knew their hourly rate) and that they guarantee their work. I found O'Neill and gave them a call. They said the job sounded pretty straightforward and estimated at the most an hour per part of the job but said they would come out to give a free estimate. Colin and Frank arrived in the time window they said and quickly came up with an estimate of an hour total labor plus parts. That included cutting into the inside wall to replace the hose bib properly instead of unscrewing the old one from the pipe coming out of the house and putting on a non-frost free one, which the other guy wanted to do. Colin found a bit of an issue with the way the pipe was inside the wall and suggested that it would be a better fix if they went further back along the wall. All of this without adding to the additional time estimate. When all was said and done, we have a new valve under the house and a new frost-free hose bibb, all for less than half what the other guy said it might cost. If I need a plumber again in the future, I know who I will call.

Very professional folks, made quick work of replacing a failed pressure control valve in our home. I'll gladly call them back any time I need serious plumbing done.
