Kate S.I had a toilet backed up on Monday, 10/3, and called Richard P Waltz's emergency service. They arrived within 30 minutes and identified the root cause back to the septic system after digging into the entrance of the septic. They corrected the issue until I could have the septic pumped the following day. Excellent service and reasonable price! Thank you!!!

We hired Waltz for a job at our rental in Portland, Maine to clear a bathroom tub and sink drain, while also re-piping the tub drain. The tech was clearly outside of his capacity as he openly complained the whole time about how tough the job was and that he couldn't do it. He didn't have the proper tools on his truck and had to have someone deliver a plumbing snake, which was an additional $75 for the snake and another $75 for the driver to deliver the equipment. At one point, drain water leaked on the floor and he used the tenant's new towels to clean up the mess as he'd left all of his supplies to collect plumbing spills in his truck. Waltz only allowed $10 for two new towels.
After 3.25 hours of working on just the sink (which is open and easily accessible) he said he was finished and couldn't do the tub.
Clearly, Waltz is hiring under qualified and inexperienced help and their fully comfortable not being accountable for the poor quality job while still charging full price.
Sally D.My sewer backed up into basement. They came and video taped the sewer line but never cleared the clog. They charged me just under $1000. Another plumber came the next day and unclogged pipe within 20 minutes. I tried to get some of my money back and they refused. I was very disappointed.
