After multiple small leaks, weakening water pressure, and uneven temperature fluctuations, I decided to bite the bullet and repipe. We live in one of the units of a 4plex we own. Prior to the repiping it took about 2 minutes for the water in our unit to get nice and warm. Now, with the addition of a recirculation line, it takes 5 seconds or less (which saves a lot of water for the environment and helps with water bill!). Having eliminated the nasty galvanized pipes, the water also just feels cleaner. One Day Complete Repipe's price was reasonable and came with a ten year warranty. The work was done professionally and quickly. The drywall people textured the walls beautifully. The whole thing really makes me feel the pride of ownership in my home. I'm grateful to One Day Complete Repipe for their diligent work (they responded to multiple requests I made, they were respectful of all tenants, and the work just feels solid). I'm confident they have ""delivered the goods"" with me.

I had a hot water slab leak in my hallway bathroom and the only solution was to repipe the entire house and go up into the walls and attic. It was stressful news but Scot came out and took a look, and gave me a reasonable, honest quote for the job. I did a lot of research and copper was the best choice. Next, Jose showed up with a crew of hardworking guys that got the entire house repiped in one day! They cleaned up well and next was inspection. After inspection passed, the sheetrock guys patched up the areas and then another inspection. They did an amazing job and I highly recommend them!

This ended up being a FIVE DAY INCOMPLETE REPIPE job due to poor workmanship and inability to pass the inspection. This was the worst from the beginning to the end. The BEGINNING: Salesperson assures the house inside would look exactly the same after the work is completed. Not true. I found out that day, that they were going to put standard white tiles around the new shower fixtures unless I had my own color matching tiles. Salesperson said the holes would be patched, omitting that I would need to sandpaper and paint the walls, including the bare spots that occurred when they carelessly ripped down the tape put on the ceilings for the protective plastic. It took a day to clean the dirt and drywall silt from my rooms. The salesperson will suggest saving money by not getting a permit.....this would be extremely foolhardy!!!! The inspection, which had to be done a couple times until finally approved, was my only recourse to ensure that (1) the ""water hammer"" from my bathroom fixtures was fixed (Jose will tell you this is a common noise he has in his house and is perfectly fine...bs), (2) the noise was dampened and abated from the installation of the new water circulation pump (imagine banging pipes at 1:00 am, 3:30 am, 5:00 am as well as other hours throughout the day), and (3) all pipes covered with insulation not just a few. Jose, to his credit, did try a few things such as putting another pump in, resetting the timer, suggesting taking the entire system out, etc. However, this occurred over an extended period of two to three months while I had to live with that noise before it was finally resolved to a tolerable decibel level at an additional cost for new PEX piping and insulating all the pipes. It was embarassing having people over as the banging was that noticeable. As mentioned in other reviews, the workers show up late due to long drives from Modesto, and they finish at 10 pm. I even tried confirming the night as well as the morning for the patching day, which had zero effect, since they showed up three hours late anyway. THE END: This company has poor and untruthful communication about scheduling, details and scope of the job.

This company is wonderful! They were in and out in one day! Cleaned up so well you would not have known they were here. That was in November - this is March and our gardener saw that the shut-0ff valve had begun leaking. I called the company and Jose was out within the hour and fixed it! THAT is customer service and reliability!

TL;DR
One Day Complete Repipe did a fantastic job of putting in the gas extension line, managing the permit process, and ultimately hooking up our new gas range. They priced fairly and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
Background
As I admire our new gas range I can't help, but reflect on the experience that got us here after almost a month.
Our trusty electric range had a problem and though we initially thought we would repair it, it had been 9 yrs and we thought it was a good time to upgrade.
My wife preferred gas, but while we had an existing gas line in the house for the furnace and water heater there was no gas line leading to the kitchen.
We went back and forth on whether we should get another electric or possible induction range or go for gas even though we needed to get gas to our kitchen somehow for our new range.
We decided to get estimates for the work as this would help with our final decision of electric vs gas. After asking friends if they could recommend a plumber (no luck) it was time to hit next door and yelp.
We were fortunate early on as a reputable plumber checked the amount of btu's we were using for furnace and hot water heater, used an estimate for the amount needed by a range (65,000) and calculated based on the length of gas main to house and size of pipe. Long story short he said they could use the existing line. Their quote was quite high even without a permit or else we would have chosen them.
After that we had a parade of plumbers (needed a spreadsheet to manage them) tell us us we ""needed"" a new line and it would cost $1,500 to $2,000. These were plumbers with many 5-star reviews on yelp. Also almost all were very loose on the permit issue. Basically they would ask if we wanted it or not, but if you did it would cost extra.
Jose came in and provided a fair quote and said they could extend the existing pipeline. He also said that we needed a permit despite what others would say. I thought this made sense especially for home insurance purposes. We agreed on a fair price, the team came in and did the work, managed the permit process, and now we're enjoying a beautiful range cooking with gas. As I said in the opening I would not hesitate to use them again.

two weeks ago I had them change all the pipes in my house. they were very fast, professional ,had very good quality work with absolutely no mistakes and a good price comparable to a lot of other companies. thank you one day repipe for the good price and quality service.

We hired One Day Complete Repipe after our pipe broke and flooded the living room.
They indeed completed everything in one day and we thought everything was perfect. However, after a couple of years it seems the pipes' insulation broke down. We called them to activate the ""10-year guarantee"" but after going back and forth for 2 months it seems like they're just promising but not delivering on standing behind their work.
I'm sad to have to write this review. I really thought they'll continue to provide good service.

Scot, Jose and team did the re pipe of our original 1950's home last year - they did a terrific job with quality materials, on time. There quote was reasonable (I interviewed 4 other companies) One and a half years later still no issues. They are a knowledgeable and hard working crew. Highly recommend.

At first I considered making this a 4 star review, because they started at 10 am and were done at nearly 10 pm, and they should have started and ended sooner. However, the workers are coming in from places like Modesto because we've priced high quality tradespeople and craftspeople out of the Bay Area and that's on us.
I am extremely satisfied with the job. There was a job captain/ project manager on site (Jose) who wasn't spending his time sawing or welding, and was actually managing the project which I believe is critical. He jumped in when one of the tradesmen needed a hand but his time was mostly spent keeping the project on track and keeping me informed on progress. I felt very at ease about what was going on in my home, which is something I can't say regarding other services I've received.
The drywall patch happened 2 days later (after the city inspection, the inspector needs access to the joints) and I can't even tell there were ever holes. My house was left clean, no piles of dust, the tradesmen were respectful of my property and most importantly we've got high pressure water through clean pipes.
Also, no offer of $50 or something in exchange for a 5 star review, which is very common with service providers nowadays, so these reviews you're reading are genuine.

I had kicked the can down the road about as far as I could on re-piping our house. Over the last few years I'd talked to a few of the re-pipe companies and never got a solid feeling from any of them. That and the high pressure ""if you sign by Friday I'll give you $200 off!!"" A little more research on many of these guys showed they used subcontractors and didn't have their own installers, good luck when you have a problem or need follow up after the fact.
One Day Repipe was different from the start, sales guy Scot was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the process. When the big day came the guys were there on time and prepared. I walked the house with Jose (owner) to go over a couple things and off they went. They were very clean, respected our house and were friendly guys. New piping all the way to the meter was complete in one day and water was on when we got home at 6 that night.
As it turns out we did need a little post install support to which Jose addressed himself, (think about the scope of work, little things are going to pop up) he's a great guy, cares about his customers and just gets it. I'm not sure I would have got the same support if I went with one of the other companies that uses subcontractors, something tells me there would have been a lot of finger pointing...
One Day Repipe is a very busy company, I asked Jose why he didn't have more crews, he told me he wanted to personally oversee his projects and couldn't do that if his business got to big, that says it all to me...
